moon's lover

luna was sitting at a table drinking a milkshake, watching a young bluegray unicorn mare rushing throught the crowds of ponies just standing and talking while she trying to get in line to get lunch. luna admired the mare's curves and how perfect her body was. the mare's hips swayed as she waited in line, taunting the princess just a bit. luna couldnt hear the mare's voice as she ordered a daisy sandwhich and juice, but she was sure it was beautiful enough to make angels cry. the mare levitated her meal while looking for a place to sit, but everywhere was full.

"over here!" luna waved, causing the mare to look at her. luna was captivated by her purple eyes. "you can sit with me!"

the mare trotted over carefully, her pink mane bobbing. luna noticed her cutiemark was a star with four blue lines. "are you princess luna?' the mare asked. luna nodded, causing the mare's eyes to dilate in surprise and honor. she bowed so low her muzzle touched the ground. "it is an honor, your highness."

"please... just call me luna." luna smiled, gesturing for the mare to stand up. "what is your name."

"starlight sparkle." she said. luna immediatly though of twilight sparkle, selestia's student. starlight looked like her, so maybe they were related. "but everypony calls me starry."

"pleased to meet you starry." luna shook starry's hoof, hoping she didn't blush. the two talked for a while, then luna asked if starry had a coltfriend.

"oh, um, no." starry looked down, blushing and looking sad.

"oh." luna answered. "a marefriend?"

"please don't send me away!" starry cried. "it's not my fault i like mares! i wanted to like colts, but mares are so much sleeker, and elegent!" she fell into luna's arms. "i just broke up with my marefriend, she said it's for the better. she doesn't want to be shunned anymore." luna smiled warmly at starry. she leaned down and put her muzzle to the gray mare's ear.

"i like fillies, too." she whispered. starry looked at her surprisedly. "and... i kinda like you."

"i... i have a crush on you too, luna." starry admitted. "your the reason i have my cutie mark." luna examined it once more. "i read the story about you a thousand years ago and i was fascinated." starry explained. "and i learned about star magic. when i saw you in ponyville on the day you came back, i was in love. i wanted to be your student like my sister twilight sparkle is selestia's student. and... your so pretty."

'i'm in love with you too." luna murmured, stroking the pretty mare's back.
