Twilight arrived at Carousel Boutique in the early morning, anxious to check up on her friend. She reached the door and bangs on it loudly. “Rarity?! Rarity are you in there?”

Rarity opens the door yawning, her hair sill in curlers and a mud mask on her face. Rubbing her eyes she speaks with another yawn “Twilight? What are you doing? Do you know what time it is?”

Twilight jumps forward and wraps her arms around her friend “You’re okay!”

Rarity pulls her off and gives her a confused look “Umm….Why wouldn't I be darling?”

“I…I…Trixie…she…she killed you”

Rarity looks rather cross. “I know I don’t look my best right now, but that is no reason to be rude Twilight”

“No! Really, she…you…you were dead, she…had your skin and….and!” Twilight shuttered. “And then I…I woke up in bed with her!”

“Well why wouldn’t you wake up in bed with her? Don’t you do that every morning?”

Twilight let out an annoyed groan “No…No, we aren’t together!...Are we?”

“You split up? When? Why? You were so happy together.”

Twilight sighed rubbing her temples. “No No No No NO! We were never together, not now not ever!”

“What are you talking about? If you weren’t together then why was she your date to the Gala, not to mention your brother’s wedding.”

Twilight sighed and raises her hand to her forehead; her mind was spining out of control trying to comprehend what her friend just said. She thought to herself “D-date? What is she talking about I-I went alone…didn’t I”

“Rarity, I don’t remember any of that, I-I don’t know what is going on” She falls to the ground holding her head”

“I think you better come in, I’ll make some tea”

Twilight nods and gets up from the ground “Yes, yes I need to sit quietly and think for a moment” She walks inside and sits at the small kitchen table as Rarity brings her a cup of hot tea, and sits across from her.

“Twilight, I don’t want to press you in your state of mind but, why is there honey on your horn?”

Twilight reached for her horn. “Honey?...well that would explain why it was sticky….but where DID it come from?”

“I don’t rightly know Rarity. I don’t remember.” She says with a blush on across her face.

“Well, what is the last thing you DO remember.”

Twilights blush became a bright crimson. “Trixie…Trixie riding my horn”

Rarity yells cutting her off. “Twilight Sparkle! I do not need to know what the two of you in your private time!”

Twilight shook her head. “N-no she forced me…she tied me down and”

“TWILIGHT! What did I just say? Sweetie Belle is right upstairs!”

Twilight recoiled shaking her head. “S-sorry, I didn’t mean too.”

“Now why don’t you want to go home to Trixie? Did you two have a fight?”

Twilight nodded. “I may have freaked out at her just a little.”

“Maybe you should go patch things up, oh and take this with you.” She hands twilight Trixie’s hat. “It’s all fixed up.”

Twilight takes the hat and thinks to herself. “Or at least try to figure out what is going on.”

Twilight gets up and walks to the door. “Thank you for the tea.” She shouted as she ran out.

Twilight made her way slowly back to the library. “Why does everypony seem to remember me having a relationship with Trixie except me? None of this makes any sense”

Twilight approaches the library and pushes the large wooden door open. As she steps in she can hear a quiet sobbing coming from the bedroom. Letting out a long sigh she ascends the stairway toward the door and slowly opens it. “Trixie?” She said softly, “Rarity Fixed your hat.”

Trixie gets up wiping her eyes and retrieves her trademark hat. Trixie lets out a long shaky breath. “Thank you.”

Twilight didn’t look at her while there is a slight awkward pause. “I’m sorry.”

Trixie seats herself on the stool. “I-It’s alright….I know how you get with your nightmares.”

Twilight nods. “But honestly, I…I don’t remember.”

“It isn’t unusual to forget dreams Twilight.”

“N-no I mean…us...I don’t remember us.”

“How do you mean Sweetheart?”

“I don’t remember us ever being together”

Trixie stands up. “Oh will you stop teasing me Twilight, I’m not really in the mood for this, now come on” She pulls her hat on and starts down the stairs. “We told Applejack we would be over by seven to help with the harvest.”

Twilight lets out another sigh and follows Trixie out the door and they were on their way to Sweet Apple Acers.
Twilight did not say another word another word all the way to the farm, had it been any further away it would have been extremely awkward. None the less they made it and Twilight hurried along the dirt path up to the house where Applejack was waiting.

“Howdy sugar cube.”

Twilight rushes up to her and pulls her out of earshot of Trixie. “Applejack, could I have a private word with you.”

“Of course I do sugar cube, always have time for a friend.”

Twilight whispers in a hushed voice. “How long have we been together?”

Applejack looks at her confused. “…But we’ve never been together Twilight.”

Twilight smacks her hand on her forehead. “No, I mean Trixie and I. How did we get together?”

Applejack blinks in disbelief. “Yall don’t remember that? I wouldn't go telling Trixie.”

Twilight, whom is getting a little annoyed at this point. “Will you just tell me please?”

“Alright, alright keep your shirt on. She came into town after getting run out. She had no place to go so you put her up, after that one thing lead to another I suppose.”

Twilight shook her head. “But…But she never came back”

“Then who is that standing over there?”

Twilight, with a sigh, looks over to Trixie and then back to Applejack. “I don’t trust this.”

“What do you mean you don’t thrust this? Me? Honest Applejack? The loyalist of friends and most dependable of ponies?” AJ says slightly annoyed.

Twilight chuckled patting AJ on the back “You I definitely trust” she said with a smile.

“Alright, now let’s start that harvest; we have a lot of work ahead of us”

Twilight nodded and proceeded to aid with her magic. Several hours had gone by but eventually they had gotten the entire south field harvested, and Applejack, Twilight, and Big Mac are resting on the front porch when Trixie come walking up with several water bottles.

Trixie went to lean on a post. “Phew, that took an awful lot out of me.”

Twilight nodded in agreement whipping the sweat from her brow. “Tell me about it”

Trixie looks up at the clock and jumps. “Oh no! We’re going to be late!”

Twilight looked at her confused. “Late for what?”

“Don’t you remember? Your family is coming down for the wedding, and I have to see Rarity about my dress” She pecks Twilight on the cheek and ran off toward town.

“We...we…wed…wedding!?!” Twilight says with her face pale and a mortified look. As she stands and starts her way back to the library.
