//-------------------------------------------------------// The mane six and the silver forest -by AgentFood01- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 1 "Princess Celestia!" twilight called out as her eyes came in contact with celestia's beauty, She ran out to meet her with a hug the other five lagging behind. "It's so nice of you to give us all a free trip to mare-a-topia" The princess only reply was a smile, twilight pulled away from the hug and continued; "I think the rest of us are deserving of a long break after the zombie alien bumble bee invasion and the frequent breakouts of fire in the ever free forest" -- "So many fires, soo many." Rainbow interjected. Everypony paused the silence still until twilight's next words, "you have no idea how exhausted we all are." -- "I can imagine" said the laconic princess, "I'm glad for your bravery and how you handled the situation, no telling how bad the disaster could have been had not you stopped it." Staring intently at twilight for the remaining half of her sentence, slightly unerved twilight ignored a nagging feeling of discomfort from the princess which she pushed the thought to the end of her mind, paying it no attention. The moment was interrupted by a high pitched whistle echoing through celestia's vast kingdom, grasping each of the ponies' attention, "The train I prepared for the six of you has arrived, you best be on your way." Twilight walked over to the princess giving her a final hug until they'd meet once more. Her hug was tight enough to bring show twilights great gratitude, The message seemed to be perceived as twilight intended. She begun to pull away from the odd princesswho seemed reluctant to let go as twilight starting pulling away, once again another of the princess' antics which she often ignores. twilight and the others wished her farewell as they departed, trotting merrily on their way to relaxation, Heading off to the forming column of steam that for sure sourced the loud whistle from earlier. By the time the train was spotted the sun had only passed a small fraction of it's path as compared from their departure. The train was a heavy large implausible looking object with pipes and other such odd objects shooting from the metal mass that nopony could describe. Each of them had a different reaction to the whistling and grumbling iron beast however they each shared a similar amount of interest. Twilight though, was too interested. this "thing" sparked an intense feel of curiosity to go uninspected and attempted to find the conductor who would hopefully inform her further on the large contraption. But upon reaching a window like opening in the mechanical obscurity she saw that inside was nopony but a metallic stallion. Twilight stared confused and despite her quest for answers she figured striking a conversation with a robot didn't seem feasible. Displeased she continued to the first car immediately aft of the machine. The others following close behind she stepped inside, they were pulled to the beuty the interior produced. The inside of the car was a beautiful multi-faceted ceiling of glass where light seeped from unknown crevices behind the glass decor, eyes shifted just below the ceiling to catch sight of an even more intriguing part of the car interior, sliding squares and rectangles re-arranged themsleves along a pattern known only to them. Seemingly unattached the shapes skipped along a black and silver band encircling the room, the rest of the car was equally an odd sight to see. Complex steel outlined wood shapes joined behind an prison of rusty iron bars which stopped their downward progression into the natural grass floor. The wonderful car interior fascinated the departing six. Soon the convoy of machine and metal begun creeping forth at a very sutdle speed not a minute after each of them stepped aboard the magnificient carriage. It took the machine seconds from leaving the station and reach maximum speed which it maintained throughout their journey. Excited For their vacation adventure each of them located a couch or chair to rest at. They begun to sort through their bags and such, checking not a thing was forgotten or misplaced. Among the six of them twilight carried the most luggage. Heavy duty triple layered thick fabric craddled an abundance of books securely but only a few hygenics. Applejack couldn't help but notice while admiring very important pictures. She paused what she was doing to question why it was she took so many books yet so little neccesities, things that would prepare her for parties and general relaxing. "These are all books I haven't read yet and I'm hoping many of them will be interesting to read, I've been saving them for a time like this." She smiled proudly, letting out a squee. Applejack left her to her passion, returning to family pictures and what not laying in her saddle bags on a nearby chair. The books sparkled a darkish pink lined themselves up infront of twilight to scrutinize. inspecting only the spines making sure they were indeed not familiar, Once done the books stacked themselves neatly into their proper baggage. Soon the car grew active with jokes about the fictional character "molestia", the latest stories of the cutie mark crusaders and followed by a questionable game of "would you rather", Though they had plenty of fun for the majority of the trip boredom began settling amongst the friends. But it didn't have long to stay. A bright gleam of light broke through the window scattering into many rays of individual light, directing the ponies to search for the source, they met up at a window where the suspected light beam came from and wonder fell upon them as they were graced with a sight of deep emerald green forests which surrounded their assymetric glass and metal counterparts, structures that spread evenly with the bodies of nature. Excitement accumulated in the deep pools of their colorful eyes. Nopony expected their vacation spot to be this gorgeous. The train came to a speedy stop, halting their admiration and appreciation for the city they would gladly enjoy. Few were launched forth by the train's sudden stop, none injured but a oddly shaped pink package adorned with balloons launched to the front of the car crashing, It's momentum sending it forward with great force, cracking the front of the car. A faint pony's voice could be heard beyond the damaged wall "sorry!" called a female voice. Silence fell quickly followed by a disapproving look from many shot toward a apolegetic looking pinkie pie who really should have restrained such heavy items. The ponies happily hopped out of the car, heads spinning to observe in disbelief the wonder of the land. Twilight's exit was delayed as the sudden stop misplaced her luggage. Once located she left for the front of the train to rejoin her waiting friends, her walk interupted halfway. "Is everypony okay?" a voice called as she was passing by. She stopped. looked back, right and forward to see nothing until facing left where her eyes met with a short, red maned bright dull yellow pony. "Hi" Said twilight nervously, "my name is summer and this is my train, I was teaching my bolt-brain friend how to operate it, Real sorry if anypony was hurt." -- "Everyone's fine, but a large heavy object hit the front wall damaging it." -- "Darnnit." Replied the frustrated pony. "Well you six have a wonderful time I should be getting to the shop." -- "Thanks, good luck" -- "Buh bye!" Twilight broke away from the conversation to meet up with her friends, "Hey twilight?" said a concerned pinkie pie. "Didn't you want to ask the conductor something?" -- "Oh yeah." twilight turned around but the trains presence was no more, It's speed left it to disappear easily. "Dagh, pony feathers. There goes my chance." The six continued out of the station where they were directed by two of celestia's guards to a sleek metal vehicle on three wheels that would take them to their living quarters during their stay. (city arrival) The vehicle stopped afoot a looming tower suspended by it's upper levels from another nearby building too high to spot the end of, the conjoined tall beings shared skin of glass and the twins' bones were of a speckled shiny metal. They would have to finish their sight seeing hurriedly as celestia's two royal gaurds had little patience forcing them to keep moving. Leading the excited six into a incommodius chrome sphere. They were unsure about the room's purpose if any, it had the appearence of a bare room nothing about it stood out. "ELEVATOR!" a gaurd shouted, "TO ROOM THREE HUNDRED TWELVE TB!" added the other gaurd, the silver room suddenly became quiet then hummed as it ascended. The humm known only to the strange place grew louder and faster. From the bottom green lights ascended, slow at first but not for long. Not much time passed when the lights had nearly reached  their implied meeting point above their heads. A powerful green light emerged from the meeting of the quieter lights, in opposing action the humming quickly silenced, a pop and squeal opened a circular  door before them, their apartment. The two powerful grey ponies in armor disappeared behind only a second or two since their lack of presene in the silver machine, and for the last time a humm sounded as the elevator departed. Their luggage already there to greet the arriving of thesix. Waiting on a table behind a large television. Pinkie was the first to claim her baggage, walking over to the neat pile and pulling out the large pink object collapsing the once tidy arrangement. Pulling backwards the pink object from earlier to corners unknown. Everypony else fecthed their things and set off in the large two level apartment in search of a room to claim their own. Exploring the many chambers, hallways and other rooms that filled the area.   (pinkie pie) So I was dragging my party supplies suddenly as I went to place my left hind hoof down it couldn't find solid ground. I had to find out why and quickly turned around, maybe a little too quickly, I found myself in a pool, some sort of liquid, wasn't sure what it was, I opened my eyes thinking it was water and found my next action to be an attempted yelp, but it was stifled by the liquid. Whatever the stuff was it stung and wasn't clear, I hurried to the surface and looked back at the liquid before getting out, the liquid's appearence seemed familiar but still looked odd, staring back at the odd dark pools I dropped my head to the level of the liquid and sniffed deeply, I now knew what it was and charged back to the living room paying no attention to my forgotten luggage. "SODA FOUNTAIN!" I yelled as loud as my excited voice would limit me to. frequent clicks could be heard in various directions to meet where they originally departed. Applejack was the first to speak "D-did you say, soda fountain?!" My reply was a confirming nod and without a word thereafter they followed my enthusiastic bouncing. We stopped at a melliflous pool of dark amber liquid. I was to excited to attempt finding the kitchen where I supposed cups would be, so submerging my whole mouth would have. I stared back at the others who refused to do the same, "Just stick your head in it no time for cups its delicious!" My words didn't encourage any action, they remained still. So for the time being they only admired it's presence. Except applejack whom with considerebly more grace than I sampled a small portion from her waterproof hat. Eyes closed, mouth submerged, the small helping dissapeared quickly. "Come on ya'll grab a cup, ya need t' taste this." She announced after the last drop left her tungue and placed the hat back where it belonged. The rest went after their cups eagerly, while I collected my things and set off around the appartment for a place to stay for twelve nights. Not too many steps of backwards dragging travel and I found myself near an unoccupied room. A large window that doubled as an entire wall caught my attention while entering the room and soon as I delivered my supplies I left only thinking about the soda fountain. (fluttershy) I grabbed a cup from the large complicated room of cooking supplies twilight unknowingly guided me to and returned hastily to the dark golden fountain. There it was again, the heavy amber liquid, Nopony was as happy as I was, Nopony. even though I couldn't exactly show it. As i reached the edge of the delicious pools. My wings unfolded and beat the air with powerful thrusts freeing me from gravity, I lowered myself to the center of the fountain capturing sugary goodness in my modest cup and not a single second was wasted to enjoy the contents of the now full cup and a wide grin found itself on my face, I don't believe it did justice to my love for the flavor, and so wider it grew. My cup was empty so I departed for the kitchen determined to find the biggest storage device possible. I returned with a wide tall cooking pot that seemed good enough for a small village. I happily flew the large akward device back to the fountains of flavor. Quickly the large pot filled with the delicious liquid straining my barely used wings. The pot's weight was now comparable to a bucket of lead but I gladly flew the heavy brew to my room to enjoy it's fleeting presence. The room I had selected only featured the neccesary furniture and a small window at eye level to my right, the window was no bigger than I and I'd have to close it every night. It's not the darkness that scares me, it's what the darkness hides. The thought frightened me nearly as much and , it's not the kind of thought I would associate myself with, my attention then turned to the private supply of soda I brought in, my cup serving me a small helping, My face of happiness blankened soon after, not for saddness but for lack of any emotion at all. Some time passed as I stared out that window and an early moon began to rise, The full cup would appear to last not very long. I filled my cup again to continue my thougtless stare, and many cups later had thoughts finally begun to generate in my mind seizing my attention from the window, Another cup filled and another thought or two floated into my mind. So infrequent are the times that I am allowed such quick and open thought to my own consciencenous. And so more thoughts and cups passed. I started on how often I actually think I came to the conclusion that my words of thought actually brought more weight then my words of mouth, at first I was doubtful but then as more time passed I found it easy to believe. After all most of my reactions do stay in my mind, they're not usually expressed unless it need be. Another cup raised to my lips. Why do I stifle my emotions so often? Perhaps I should practice by talking my thoughts to myself but even after the idea conjured in my head every idea that followed remained behind closed teeth where only my beloved drink passed. thoughts and time disappeared. Another cup, the last one emptied faster and this cup would share a similar fate enduring a few sips shorter. How much easier would it be for me if I could just express myself? I began sorting through the many "what-ifs". Another cup passed. How much happier I'd be to express all my feelings instead of hiding the bad ones in my mind, A lighter cup raised from the pot. Why can't I even ask for help? I need to sort this out but I don't know how. The cup emptied and went back for more, the cup delivered few drops and returned to the pot where the soda had already been consumed. My mind paused, it dawned on me that perhaps the pot was empty. Terrified I inspecteed the light well, I peered inside to find it's contents missing. This was unacceptable, It wasn't a craving that drove me, but the realization of an apparent need. Out of desperation I grabbed the pot and fleww the fastest I've ever flown, atleast to my memory. Finally I reached the room where thought and bliss itself flowed in rivers. Horror filled me to see my beloved no more, "The soda, i-is gone?" My wings collapsed to my sides as I fell to the empty area once occupied by the drink my mind craved and could not stop forcing me to fighting, Could it be that the soda had already disappeard so quickly? I landed and my usually modest face returnedas I slowly walked back to the main living room where the rest of my friends where relaxing, transportation by wing once again restricted as I reluctantly strolled in. the other five including a soda stained pinkie pie was sitting at a half round couch surrounding a television. I announced my presence quietly with the question "I-is the soda really gone completely?", rarity was the only one to answer me with a "yes dear we enjoyed a drink party while watching the best shows that only the princess herself could offer." "AAAAAAWWW YEEAH!" cried out rainbow dash. "It's back on!" said twilight then the celebratory cheers quickly grew faint as not to upstage the obviously great show. I wondered if I should dare ask why it was the soda lasted so shortly in our presence, and for a moment it remained a thought. But to my dismay I found myself shouting out the thought. I reacted quickly, barricading my mouth with my hoof to keep anymore nonsense inside. The instant I realised I messed up. Rarity and twilight stared at me, the others still occupied with the tv. "Calm down darling soda is no big deal" rarity said in a comforting manner. "Uuuh fluttershy?... the soda's been gone thirty minutes ago. It only lasted two hours." added a confused twilight sparkle. Surprise overwhelmed my emotions prompting my leave, first stop, the bed and it's small rightside window. Was I really thinking for two and a half hours? As I entered my room I stared at the very spacious spot where I easily recognized the lack of a tall wide pot. I sat once again on the bed pulled my head back to the window and resumed to my thougths. At most I was thinking two or three thoughts how could that occupy nearly three hours? I stopped, An unusual lack of thought came over me, I vaguely remebered watching the early moon rise from that very window to my right. It was a fleeting memory, the moon's smooth ascension into my vision then quickly out of it again as a window border would block from me it's pale dead flesh, passing in seconds as it would in many many minutes maybe numbering up to an hour and making notable progress towards the next. I quickly regained motion in my muscles and wings for fear I would again doze of at a single sight as I did before. I begun wondering how or why I could or would stare at a single spot for so long. The thought was interupted, I looked around looking for the source of interuption. At the door was a concerned looking twilight sparkle. "Oh-Uhm, how long were you standing there twilight? I-I hadn't noticed-" "Are you allright fluttershy?" She said. "Fine, i-is there something I could help you with twilight?"  she didn't wait long to reply "You've been acting weird lately are you sure nothing's troubling you?" My reply however delayed. It seemed like an eternity until I broke my silence. "I-I'm Just fine..." That was lie. "You don't have to worry about me..." ...I don't know if that wast. I wanted to express my thoughts and heavy feelings just to get them out, I wanted to say everything I felt, and everything I thought before, and I had never wanted to say what I wanted to say as badly as I did right now. But, how could I? I couldn't. I couldn't tell where to start, despite how desperately I wanted to start, it was as simple as "I can't". So I replied with a fasle smile. I was disappointed, and she wouldn't get to know that, so instead I asked her what she needed. "We were about to go to a dance party on the beach! Dj-Pon3 is going to be there! Can you believe it?! Can you go?" "I-I don't know twilight I don't really think tha-" "Please-please?!" she pleaded. My defenses were breached and I allowed her to drag me along. (Dj-Pon3) "But I see no problem with playing d'Un Autre Été- Die Fabelhafte Welt Der Amélie at the party." By this point I'm not surprised with her response, she's very stubborn. So I replied "welp, my party my rules and we're opening with Raise Your Weapon and Strobe." She was quick to reply. "Can not we perform a duet?" her answer surprised me slightly, she would annoy others easily but I liked the odd way she annoyed me. "'Tavi you know that we always duet on Raise Your Weapon, don't worry I'm not forgetting about you." I was busy setting up my turntables on the platform while she was busy fixing up the computer which handled our instruments, so our conversation continued across the room. We rarely ever get to do performances together like this, both of us being musicians and all, she continued; "I know, I might have just forgotten a little due to my nervousness" -- "A little?" I shot back. "Vee!" she scolded, I turned and our eyes met, I noticed a her disapproving look "Sorry 'tavi." I must've been nervous too. I was pushing a tall speaker next to the platform it's just big enough for two and their neccesary equipment, She must've known I was struggling with the tall thing. She quickly appeared to my side to pushing with all her might. Even with her help pushing the heavy box was still ardous work, Moments of pushing finally got the thing into place. "Why didn't you use your magic?" she asked. I replied with a gentle smile. It was all I could do until I caught my breath "cause reasons" -- "Vee would you please mind your grammar." Even through burdoned breathing she still bothers me about that. Amazing. "Nah" I replied. She scoffed at the response. I turned my attention to the next neccesary thing after hooking up the wires to the enormous speaker, a medium console in a hidden corner left of the platform. It was decorated with various buttons, holes and pertruding wires, I approached and the whole thing sparkled red as I flipped switches, played with knobs and plugged cords to various holes. "Could not you have done that with the speaker?" octavia asked approaching my side. "What do you think would've happened if it fell?" she added after a brief pause I love that she cared, and I loved the thrill of danger. But she couldn't know that she'd worry. The lights backstage faded, I had forgotten to reply and wouldn't need to. The show was starting I pounded a large button at the back playing a recorded message and powering the machines. "HEEEEEELLOOOOO PONIES OF MARE-A-TOPIAAAAAAAA!! PLEASE WELCOME OCTAAAVIAAAAAA AND VINYL SCRAAAAAAAATCH!!! ABOUT TO PERFORM THEIR SIGNATURE DUET  RAAAAAISE YOUR WEEEAAAPOOOOOOON!!" The curtain slowly rose revealing the largest collection of ponies either of us had ever seen at one time. Shortly before reaching halfway up it's ascending length two objects on the far side of the stage began to sparkle a deep garnet red, they began floating in our direction, A violet pair of shades for me. And for "tavi" her favorite electric cello. Equipped for the coming musical challenge we walked slowly with one another. Side by side we approached the platform which seemed to agitate the crowd, their volume tripled. Finally in position, our words drowned out the dense noise the fans produced, even before either of us spoke. "You ready?" she asked, her nervousness overtaking her, I lowered my violet shades over my eyes and locked eyes with her, guess well have find out. The baseline skyrocketed then dropped to mark the start of our performance, dense crowd before us cheered wildly. (rarity) "Waiter!" I called out "What happened to the performance? Wasn't octavia supposed to make an appearence here tonight?", "She, uhm, hmm... oh yes she is performing with a pony called vinyl scratch on the Topaz Beach for the Penumbra Music Festival" -- "Oh okay, thanks for your time, eheh"... Oh great I had been looking forward to her performance ever since we were givin this vacation and now a performance of a lifetime won't show up. My head fell towards the now empty plate as I let out a dissapointed sigh. "Rarity!" My head sprung upward, I searched for the pony I knew addressed me. "Why hello twilight so nice to see you here, what brings you down? I thought you were at the musical festival thing, oh darnnit what was it called again? anyways did not you enjoy yourself?" -- "I did, but not as much as pinkie, AJ and rainbow dash." -- "What about fluttershy?" -- "She said something about feeling kinda sick and went back home." -- "Oh poor dear I hope she's alright." -- "Must've been all that soda she drank" -- "My goodness she had an absurdly large pot with her" -- "Soda usually gets her to act odd, I hope she's allright." -- "She gets better in an hour or two if not by morning, she did drink a lot of soda after all" -- "What is that pony's deal with soda anyways?" -- "She says it's a sentimental thing, That or an odd sugar rush." Our conversation was cut short by a sharp tall stallion. "What would we be having today?" Nothing for me, I answered, then staring back at twilight as if to direct him where to turn his attention to next., "And of you?", "Oh I-I'm not hungry." She replied I contested her reaction and insisted she order somethng, she didn't have money and I assured her I would pay for the meal. "Thank you rarity" -- "You should enjoy yourself while you're here darling, treat yourself as much as you can. It's not every day we get to relax in the most beautiful city in equestria" -- "I know rarity, I'm still a little stressed is all" -- "You brought a book with you right?" -- "Oh shoot I forgot my book at the beach party" -- "Tsk tsk tsk, you really must keep better track of your things twilight. By the way how was octavia's performance?" -- "How did you know she was performing at the festival?" -- "Because she isn't performing here like I had hoped." -- "Oh darn, that stinks. But her and vinyl scratch had a beutiful duet at the start, octavia didn't play much but her singing was glorious! The two made a great performance." -- "Oh pooh, I know it's not my style but I've always wanted to go to one of her performances" -- "Well rarit-" An anouncment interrupted her and everypony was all ears for it. "Excuse the interuption everypony but we have a very important announcment, We are delighted to present to you a very special performance. Every one give a gentle round of applause for octavia" The room grew loud with more than just applause but also cheers and yells, I never expected that reactiion from this group of ponies but that I can easily understand. "I don't understand." Said twilight, "Wasn't she supposed to be performing all night with Dj-pon3?" -- "Who?" I interjected, "Oh Vinyl scratch, her stage name is Dj-pon3, with a three instead of an Y" -- "What for?" -- "It's a style thing" -- "If you say so, they must've hit a snag that caused them to split up.." -- "Must have." We stopped in our conversation to enjoy the music when it played. For a minute or two it proceeded in it's beutiful manner. Until ittook and odd turn, the music sped up and started skipping and replaying as if it were a broken record, around the same time I noticed a cord pertruding from octavia's cello. "Uh oh" I said, hoping my suspicions were wrong despite the immense evidence fighting my claim. The bass dropped and a platform rose in the stage behind octavia stopping waist high above the floor, It was vinyl scratch and her signature turntable set up. The base dropped and the odd thing is, even though I've never heard of this genre of music I was liking where it was going. Boom! the music got louder and more eratic "Whoo!" was the common cheer among ponies in the room, I wasn't surprised to find myself to be one of them and before I knew it the exciting new experience was over and so was twilight's visit, her food arrived untouched and had been remaning so for quite some time now. The epic duo didn't perform an encore as the whole "high class" resteuarant had cheerfully demanded, neither octavia nor vinyl was seen the rest of the night, neither of them returned to their original post at their music festival either. (twilight sparkle) "All this music and so much noise, ugh I just need to rest. I should be fine to party tommarrow, I still didn't get any rest from last nights fire scare." The moon's near full glow filled the night sky but most of it's presence could be seen from the reflections of the intricate towers sorrounding me. The ones you could see tjhat wasn't blocked by tree cover that is. I continued walking down the hollow city whose residents had more interesting occupations at the moment. Even from this great distance the loud cheering synchronised with the powerful bumbs of bass could still be heard, even felt in the ground beneath my hooves. I kept on walking completely exhausted. The trip here alone had sapped a great deal of my remaining energy. My head began to droop down as I lazily walked along the empty streets partially lit street lamps above the vegetative canopy. But still At the corner of my eye something called out to me. What little details I could make of it at the time still intrigued me and I moved in for a closer look. I attempted to I dentify the odd thing on a sidewalk corner I was about to ignore. I didn't know how else to describe it but a narrow metal pole stick up from the ground where at head's height mounted the lower half of a red conical shape, it's widest possible end connected to the pole. Above that was a glass sphere with many more colorful spheres hidden inside. I encircled the odd thing and on one side I saw a silvery interface of sorts, A knob with two pertruding fins stood an inch above a square hole protected by a matching door. On the knob was an arrow implying it's direction of rotation and it begun to sparkle and shine pink as I slowly turned it waiting forsomething to happen. *PLINK PLINK PLINK* The door nudged a little and rocked back in forth in it's hinges, That too sparkled pink and out three small colorful spheres from inside flew out. I didn't know what to make of it so I collected a few more for study and noted the odd machines location incase I needed to observe that too. Once again I was back at the appartment, humming elevator, soda fountain and all. "Fluttershy I'm home!" I called out, half expecting no answer. I wasn't really relying on her response so I took my time finding a place for the colored orbs to rest until I could get to them later, a bookcase behind the couch would do for now. "Hello twilight." She caught me off gaurd startling me. My sudden jump caused the orbs to fly across the room. "Oh I-I'm so sorry, d-did I startle you?" She said again. "No I'm alright fluttershy, how about you feeling better? "Much better" she replied. "What was the deal earlier was everything okay? we've been worrying about you." She frowned at the question, "Twilight, I need to talk to you. Really I need to talk to anypony who would listen. This is something I need to get off my mind." Her words were built. It sounded like she had them planned out. "Sure fluttershy, I'm ready to listen." We sat down on the couch, silence drew over the air as it grew heavy. Only the humming of a fly in a distant space somewhere dared to contest the powerful silence, until fluttershy's words broke the silence." I've been having a hard time expressing myself lately, A-and, it's not making me very happy." Engaged and concerned I urged her to go on. "I sometimes have these random thoughts and I don't know how to describe them and I-I'm just so confused what do I do twilight?" -- "Well what kind of thinks do you think about?" -- "I think that I can never express myself and I keep thinking on how nice i-it would be to do that." -- "Aand you think stuff like this often?" -- "Y-yes." -- "Well I guess we should work on that shouldn't we?" -- "Well that's not the whole problem." -- "I know, but once were done you can tell us how to help you." -- "O-oh... uuhm okay, where shall we start?" -- "well writing it down helps, writing is an intimate form of self expression when your done I can just read it or you can read it to me." -- "W-will that work?" her words seem to fall back to their frail old selves. "it worked for me when I had trouble making friends, course it was my parents I read to." -- "O-oh, ohkay, do you have some paper and a quill?" -- "Sure do!" I located the neccesaties with my magic and from the other roomed they rushed to fluttershy's reach. On the spot she immediately started writing. She wrote so quick and precise, she knew the words and how they were going to look on paper. As if by instinctive purpose not a letter was out of place, soon more paper was required, and more, and more. Five sheets of paper and she finished writing. she seemed tired and she craddled her strained wrist. I began to read aloud and the night silenced.
