Coal is a unicorn of few colors, and fewer words, but that's fine with her; her black mane and gray coat making her a remarkably unremarkable pony. Often neglected by her parents, she became reclusive, years went by as she grew evermore appreciative of her own company; with all the time spent in seclusion, her special talent remains a mystery. Only a year before she's of legal age to finally distance herself from her parents; she is sent off to the Manehatten Academy for the Magically Gifted by her parents to finish her schooling, and that's where this story begins….
