Out in the wastelands, lies a castle, but this castle is….special, you see. No others exist that are like it and there are no records of it ever having been built. It has always existed they say, before you, before me, before Celestia and Luna and possibly, even before Discord. It might have even been around before our world was created, but that is a story for another time…for now, this is the story of how a vengeance driven mare awakened a being that would forever change the course of Equestrian history.
