FlutterShy gently petted each and every one of her beloved animals, being careful not to hurt them or scare them away.
Her gentle hoof stroked over the miniature animal known as a bunny, and gave him a warm and calming atmosphere. The little bunny had everything he wanted, so full of joy and elation. Fluttershy had got off her sofa, and made her way towards the door, going out to get groceries to make Angel's favourite food, quite a unique and exclusive one-of a kind salad that could only ever be created by Fluttershy.
''I'm going out to fetch groceries, Angel bunny, be good until i'm back, okay?'' Fluttershy instructed in a requestful but soothing tone.
The bunny nodded, and soon dazed off into a cozy sleep. And so, Fluttershy slowly made her way to Ponyville markets, where she had bought nearly all the necessary ingredients required to make the salad. It was then, her eyes were directed onto the ever so gentle stallion, caring and tending to little woodland creatures. Fluttershy didn't know much about love, but it struck her like rain striking the floor. The stallion had an aqua crystal blue colored iris, a rose red colored mane and tail, and a slightly goldish mixed in with orange colored coat. Fluttershy was love struck, she had never seen such a sight before, and the fact that he also loved animals dearly, meant there surely was a connection between the two. Although Fluttershy was so lost in this stallion, she knew she had to go and get the remaining ingredient for Angel.
''That'll be five bits.''
''five bits? Oh... B-b-ut last week it was only three bits?''
''That was then this is now.''
''Oh but i only have three bits...''
''Well then, no bits no business, as simple as that, now get outa here!''
''But five bits is outrageous!''
''I don't care, five bits or no lettuce.''
''Hold up, i'll pay for the mare. Here, take it''
Fluttershy was shocked, it was the stallion from before! She didn't think he was generous too, what a delight!
O-oh my.. y-y-ou d-d-don't h-have to do this...
''No worries, it's always my duty to help a fellow mare in distress!''
Fluttershy chuckled, ''W-well.. Thank you so much!''
Though Fluttershy was a shy pony, her greeting was more warming than when she'd met Twilight.
''Hi! I'm Fluttershy! I'm really really really super grateful you could spare two bits for me!''
''Oh two bits is nothing, don't mention it! I'm Brave Heart ''
''Well nice to meet you Brave Heart, would you like to come over to my cottage for some tea? And I see you're very good with animals, just like me!''
''Sure, nothing like meeting a kind pony after moving from another town.''
''You moved here from somewhere else?''
''Yea, I moved here from Canterlot. There have been some animals there that moved here, because of the better climate. So i decided to move along too. Also, I hear that this little town is fulled with critters!''
''That's wonderful! More friends joining in with the group!''
After a few minutes of conversation, the two quickly moved on and made it to the small spacey cottage. Angel had been waiting for his meal to arrive. Going out and buying groceries was a pretty much everyday task for her. While the rest of the animals were out playing, Fluttershy and her new friend made their way into the cottage. As Brave made his way in, he carefully greeted the animals as he trotted through the home, being careful not to scare them and petting each one as if they were his own pets. The animals had already seemed to like this new stallion a lot, and knew that he would make a great new acquaintance. Fluttershy already had the kettle ready with hot water and natural tea leaves, given to her by Zecora, the striped zebra who dwelled within the Everfree forest. The two got comfortable, and before you knew it, struck up another conversation. They slowly got know each other better and started chatting away as if they had been long lost friends that just found each other from a long journey.
Angel had soon become hungry, and went to find his lunch. Slow to realize, angel noticed was a guest in the house. Angel was somewhat bothered, that Fluttershy had not tended to the bunny before making small talk with the other pony. Angel approached the two with a neglectful feeling, and rubbed his tummy to indicate he was hungry. Only just remembering, Fluttershy only just realized she'd forgotten to make Angel's meal, and quickly rushed to make it. As a gentle-colt he was, ... got up from the sofa and went to aid Fluttershy in making the meal. Brave knew a lot about cooking, so Fluttershy could relax and let Brave make it for Angel.
''Come get it, Angel bunny! Dinner's ready, and this time it's been specially made by somepony else. I'm sure you'll love it!'' Fluttershy called to Angel in a sweetly calm tone. Though Angel was a picky eater, this time for once he had actually enjoyed the salad. Happily, Angel went over and hugged Brave. Fluttershy seemed surprised that Angel liked the food Brave had made. ''Oh my, Angel usually never enjoys the food I make him so much. It's been a while since I've seem him this happy!''.
''Wow, look at the time! I've spent so much time chatting away that I forgot I had to help out at the local park. Sorry Fluttershy, I gotta go and rally up some of the bunnies at the park. People have been complaining about bunnies pooping everywhere on the sandpits.''
''Oh, ok then.. Then I guess i'll see you later?''
''Heh, of course! Tomorrow, sugercube corner. You free?''
''Sure, I'd love to, Brave!'''
''Sweet, well cya tomorrow then!''
''Byee!''
And so, Brave parted away to help out at the park. Fluttershy wasn't quite sure why, but she felt a strange feeling in her tummy. It was like a tingling sense of happiness mashed in together with a lot of other emotions. Angel soon figured out and pieced it all together. Fluttershy had a crush on Brave Heart! Angel laughed a little, but kept it in so Fluttershy wouldn't get suspicious. Fluttershy hadn't known it, but she certainly did have a crush on her newly met friend!
