A Darkness in the Mist

It was dark.  He could feel that he was almost there.  It was just a few more yards away.  He was finally ready.  After centuries and hunger for power, he was finally able to past the advanced security that was holding what he needed and make it to his destination.  It was hard to avoid and destroy them, but after what seemed like hours, he was almost there.

He saw it.  The doorway that led to the room.  He raced to it.  He was about to make when the door shut.  He was dumbfounded.'How did that happen?' he thought.  But then he realized he wasn't going to get to the doorway that easily.  There must of been some kind of trap.

Suddenly,he heard footsteps.  He gulped as they became louder.  But he stayed his ground.  When the thing came into view, it roared, shaking the whole room. It was twice the size a Ursa Minor. It was black with long, long claws.  It's muscles were the size of 20 ships.Terror filled through him.  Then, he remembered why he was here.  He shot a beam from his horn at the beast that would irritate him for a short time.  He quickly looked into his hoofbag and used his levitation to take out a sharp knife with green stuff at the end.He ran toward the thing.  Once he made it,he sliced the Ultra Minor's, as he would liked to call it, leg.  It would inject it with powerful venom from a mystical flower.  The irritation spell had stopped.  The venom was making it weaker, but it was not enough.

The Ultra Minor threw his right paw toward the unicorn.  He had already did a spell to make him faster.  He barely dodged the massive paw,but the impact to the ground threw him off the floor.  He knocked into a wall.  He quickly recovered and shot a beam at the beast's eye.  The beast took a step back and closed his eye.  The unicorn levitated a container.  The monster tried to squish him with his foot.  Using his speed from his spell, he dodged the attack.Then, he dripped the whole container on the foot.After that,the monster was filled with a mixture of extreme coldness and heat that the container contained from a powerful gem he took  .The unicorn got out something that looked like a grapple.  He threw it at the beast's legs.  It spread out more.  He wrapped it around the beast's two legs.  He fell to the ground.Shaking the entire ground like a earthquake.  The stallion ran to the beast.  He threw a grapple around his paws.  The unofficial named Ultra Minor had it's eyes closed.  Then he opened it.  He growled at the unicorn.  He grabbed out a container of milk.This was milk that could make you sleepy with even a drop of it.The beast opened it's mouth to roar at him.  That was a mistake.  The unicorn opened the container and poured it into it's mouth.  He waited minutes for it to fall into sleep. Finally,it did.  The unicorn went "Phew!"

The fight took out some of his energy.  But he ran towards the door.  It was locked with some code.  But he took out a hacking device.  He easily hacked it and opened the door.  He went inside to see a huge vault.  He ran towards it.  It was protected by some kind of magic lock.  He was prepared for this.  He looked through his bag.  He found what he needed.  A black block.  It didn't look useful, but it was very powerful indeed.  It used to be locked up in some cave with many dangers, but what he was looking for passed them and took it.  The unicorn shot out a beam at it.  He was supposed to charge it to give it fuel to shoot out a beam.It was tiring him out quickly due to its power.  It felt like hours before it finally shot out a beam at the magic lock.  The magic lock was destroyed.  He put it back in the bag.  He opened the door.

"Hello?Are you here?"the unicorn asked.

He continued and continued.  He was confused.

"Where are y-" he was cut off.

A black smoke covered him.  He couldn't see anything.  When it was all gone.  He saw a black shape.  He couldn't see it clearly, but he knew who it was.

"Father.  I have come to free you."

The black shape stood silent for a moment.  Then spoke with a deep and menacing voice.

"Thank you my son.  I am free at least.  Now, I can rule over again."

He laughed evilly as red eyes glowed.

The train pulled in.  Ponies got off meeting friends and family.  Smiles were everywhere.  Ponyville sure was a happy place. However, Ponyville wasn't known to have creatures such as wolves.  So, ponies were surprised and scared that a wolf came off.  He was carrying a suitcase.

His name was Brownblaze.  A brown wolf with dark brown eyes and smooth fur.  He had lived in Fillydelphia before though.  But, he decided it was time to go somewhere else.  Although, he would also be nervous since wolves weren't known to be friendly towards ponies.  But, he will deal with what came his way.

He got off the train station, walking to where he was going to live.  He got looks from ponies as if they weren't pleased to see him.  Fillies and colts playing were terrified.  He felt uncomfortable here.  'What if they try to throw me out?' he thought.Several over thoughts washed over him.  He wasn't looking where he was going until he bumped into somepony. He looked  at who he knocked into it.  It was a pink mare with a darker pink mane that looked like cotton candy.

"Oh sorry,ma'am.  I guess I was lost in thought,"Brownblaze apologized.

"It's okay.  Say,you're a wolf!  I never seen a wolf up close like that.  You must be new here.  My name is Pinkie Pie.  I hope you enjoy living here!I should make a welcome party for you. Do you like parties?  I know I do. In fact this one time,I-"Pinkie when on rambling and rambling.

Ponies usually found it annoying when she went talking away like that.But, Brownblaze didn't mind.  He had a high tolerance for annoyance.  Besides, at least she was friendly to him.

"Oh!I forgot to ask you.  What's your name?" she asked happily.

"Brownblaze. Nice to meet you Pinkie Pie.  It's nice to know that at least somepony isn't scared of me or something."Brownblaze smiled.

"Don't worry. They'll get over it.  Besides, we have a baby dragon here and everypony is okay with it,"Pinkie Pie reassured him.

"Wow!A baby dragon?Cool.  But anyways, I got to get going.  I have to get to my new house."he explained.

"Oh!Well, before you go, how about I take you to Sugarcube Corner and give you a cupcake?" she asked politely.

"Well that would be nice."

"Then follow me!"

She bounced off. Brownblaze followed her. Once again, he got more looks.But he ignored them. They made it a gingerbread house-like bakery. They went in and Pinkie gave Brownblaze a seat.

"You can stay right here!What kind of cupcake would you like?"Pinkie asked.

Brownblaze thought.  He decided a vanilla with sprinkles cupcake would be nice.

"Do you have vanilla and sprinkles?" he asked.

"Of course we do!I'll get it for you."She bounced off.

Brownblaze looked around. He sniffed. It smelled delicious in here. He could stay here all day. He could see Pinkie coming back.

"I got you your cupcake!"she announced.

"Thanks. I'll be off to go. I appreciate you doing this for me."he smiled at her as he quickly ate his cupcake.

"You're welcome. Make sure to come back!And you'll definitely enjoy it!Ponville is the nicest town in Equestria!" she told him.

"Okay!" he replied as he made his way out of the door. He wasn't sure he could believe what she said though. He was getting looks for being a wolf. But, he could understand why he did. He made his toward his place where he would live. He was almost there when someone screamed "Look out!"

He turned his head around. He saw a blue blur was flying towards him. He didn't have time to react and was crashed into. Pain tore through him and he felt dizzy for a few seconds. He opened his eyes to see who knocked into him. He saw this pony once before. The pony was named Rainbow Dash.
