Overcoming the initial shock was probably the most difficult part for Pound. He stared at his sister in pure disbelief. “Wh...what?” He searched her eyes, looking for the joke, but he couldn't see it.

Behind them Carrot Cake's mouth fell open. He looked down at his wife, who's face didn't change. “Did...did you know about this?”

“Not until earlier today. Remember the strips, honey?” Cup replied, motioning downstairs.

“Oh, I had almost forgotten about those,” he admitted.

“Pumpkin, you...you're kidding right.” She shook her head. He stared at her, unable to process what she had said. “But...how? I know you were in heat, but you used protection. You're the smart one sis. You're supposed to...I...”

“I know, Pound, I should have used protection, but I wasn't thinking! A mare in heat can't think! You know how it is.” She smiled sheepishly. “Pound, I'm pregnant. No matter how anypony feels, we've got a baby.”

“Wow...” He pushed his hoof through his mane. “I'm going to be a father...and my sister is the mother...Pumpkin I...I don't know if I should be happy or scared. I mean, you saw what happened last month when we went on a date. What will they say when they find out we have a foal?”

“What happened to the stallion that was going to stand up for me? 'I swear to you, if anypony has a problem with us, they will either take it up with me or deal with it, because I am never going to let anypony hurt you, not like that.' Remember that?”

He nodded. “Yeah. And I meant it. If anypony has a problem with us, they can either take it up with me or deal with it.” He hugged her tightly. “I'm disappointed in you, sis. You should have been smarter and protected yourself.”

She nodded on him. “I'm sorry, Pound. Please I...can you ever forgive me?”

“I already have.” Normally, he would have freaked out had he been put in this position, but the alcohol, the talk from the barkeep and his deep love kept him calm. “Hey, want to hear something?” She nodded and he smiled, opening his voice, singing the song he sang in the bathroom just the month prior.

A single tear traced its way down her cheek. “Oh, Pound...I love you.” She clutched him tightly. “I'm so sorry for breaking up with you. I never should have done that to you. I...I should have stuck with you the entire time, no matter what.”

He chuckled as she sat up, letting her hold him. “It's funny, not so long ago, this was the exact opposite. I was holding you, crying like a foal. I bet even Mom and Dad are surprised by how things are turning out.”

They laughed happily. “We sure are,” Cup Cake stated, hugging her husband. “We never expected you two would fall in love like this. And we never thought you'd ever buck up, Pound.” She smiled jokingly and he played mock hurt.

With a peck to his sisters lips, he pried her off. “Come on, Pumpkin, we've got a date tonight. Time to celebrate. And remember what I said.” He rushed to his parents, kissing them on the cheek. “I love you both very much. Thank you for letting us be happy.”

He turned to his sister. “And thank you, Pumpkin, for changing my life more drastically than I ever thought possible. I just want you to remember to stay strong because not too many ponies will be glad with our...situation.”

All three ponies were surprised at his sudden change, but finding out you got your sister pregnant could do that.

“Well, you two have fun!” Cup Cake said, luring her husband away.

“Pound? A date? But it-”

“Pumpkin, I'm going to make up for last month. You wanted a date and it went horrible. This time, things'll be different. And buck the theater.” Going over to his dresser, he smirked. “We're going out and about. Not one place, several.”

He tossed open his dresser, digging out a bag of bits. “Don't worry about dressing up. We're not going anywhere fancy.” His sudden energy scared Pumpkin...and turned her on. She allowed him to half drag her from the bakery, waving good-bye to their parents.

They started off galloping to the hat shop. Pound bought himself a tan fedora that he slipped down on his face, covering his eyes mysteriously. He donned a sly smirk that gave him a bad boy essence. And that turned Pumpkin on even more.

“Oh, Pound, where is all of this coming from?” she asked, barely able to keep her voice from dripping in lust.

He chuckled. “First you were my baby, now you've got my baby. Time to show you off to everypony we run into.”

Her heart beat faster as she lured her towards the arcade. She wondered what lay in store for her there. Unfortunately, it wasn't what she had hoped. He slid up to the Double Down Dancer X, waiting for her. “Care to show them something?”

He tossed two bits in, motioning for her to get on. It was quite empty in the area they stood, not to many ponies were into the dancing games. Dancing was more of a recreational or privately done activity, not counting the professionals.

Nervously, she got on, looking through the music. She found and old song they often played at school parties and readied herself. As the count down sounded, she started moving. She wasn't too comfortable, but coaching and encouragement from her brother kept her going.

The song ended and she hopped off, earning a GOOD JOB! from the machine. She had to cover her red face, feeling embarrassed. I bet I made a fool of myself, she whimpered in her head.

“Nice, sis. Better than I thought you'd do.” He pecked her cheek and threw two more into the machine. His slick smile made her heart flutter and the hat kept a shadow over his eyes, keeping a mystery as to what he was looking at.

He hopped on, selecting a song she had never heard of before. She watched in absolute horror as he chose double pads and maximum difficulty. “What are you doing?” she hissed. “You've never danced a day in your life!”

He only gave that charming, sexy smile that had appeared from nowhere. He was a whole new pony now that he had a bun in the oven and a mare high on fear. “Don't worry, Pumpkin, I've got this.” he leaned over, giving her a gently kiss.

She felt warmth spread through her body as he turned around. “Get ready!” the toy howled. A low bass line came out and he swayed slowly. When the sound of their Aunt's voice pumped out, she gasped. Drums added to the mix and she saw her brother loosen his muscles.

No signs had come up and she wondered if it was broken. Then Pinkie laughed. It was her Giggle At The Ghosties song...remixed. When the...whatever it was started, the arrows flashed, forcing her brother to fly.

She stood in awe at what she watched him do. Moving his body like she'd never seen anypony move before. She didn't notice the ponies starting to gather to gawk at the mysterious hatted dancer that was burning the moves into their minds.

It was like he had lost all of his bones, but had grown more. It was so odd. His body moved like fluid one moment, so jerkily the next. It was almost as if he was popping his bones, waving his legs like the ocean.

The more that gathered, the more aggressive he seemed to get, the beat thrummed, booming around the arcade, drowning out the sound of pinball machines and Whack-A-Mole games. She noticed how it slowed whenever her Aunt's voice came on and Pound did the same.

Unlike the first two times, there wasn't much of the extra sound effects. It was Pinkie's voice and a deep bass with a little bit of drums thrown in. Pound moved so slowly and fluidly, it was like he was part of the music. The music stopped and he froze. Stiff as a block as the Earth pony's giggles finished off the song.

She could hear him panting, but his body barely moved. On the laughs faded, there was silence, save the gaming sounds. In that instant, all of the ponies surrounding the twins erupted into applause. Pound quickly jumped back to life, snagging his sister and throwing her on his back as he dashed from the place.

He laughed, feeling free. He spread his wings, jumping into the air, his sister clinging to his neck for dear life. He soared higher, adrenaline pumping through his blood as he did a barrel roll, scaring his sister to death.

Her shriek made him look back. “Calm down sis, I'd never drop you. Even if you fell, I'd catch you.” He ripped her off his back and held her in the air in front of him. “I love you.” He clutched her tight, slowly floating down to Earth.

As soon as they touched the ground, she tackled him. “I'm going to kill you.” She pressed her lips to his, but he quickly slipped away.

“We only just started. Come on, Pumpkin.” He wrapped his tail with hers and let her lean on him as they walked back toward the town. They noticed Apple Bloom packing up her apple cart and the stallion had an idea.

As if reading his mind, the mare said, “No. Don't you do it. She hates us the most.”

“Remember what I said?” She nodded and he dragged her to the cart. The seller wasn't looking so he had to call her name. “Apple Bloom!”

She jumped and whipped around, narrowing her eyes in hate. “Whadda you want? I ain't sellin you no apples, you incestuous sluts.”

“Apple Bloom, I can understand that you hate what your brother and sister did.” he ducked when she swung at him. He quickly tackled her to the ground. “Knock it off and let me talk.” When she snorted, he let her up while she held her bruised pride.

“Look, I know you don't like us for what's gone on. But you don't understand that, even though we're brother and sister, we love each other. Just like any other couple in Equestria does. Just because one bad thing happened to you doesn't mean you can take it out on everypony else.”

He reached out and grabbed his sister. “This is not my sister, Apple Bloom, this is my marefriend, my lover and...” He looked at her. “Should I tell her?” He darted his eyes to her belly and she sighed.

“Go ahead.”

“Apple Bloom, she's not just my sister, my lover and my marefriend, she's the mother of my child.” He watched as the mare's jaw dropped open and she took a step back. “Yeah, you heard it right. She was in heat and, being a horny mare in heat, forgot to use protection.”

“I..I...you've got to be kiddin me.”  She looked back and forth between the two for the glint of humor in their eyes, but it wasn't there. “I...I just...it ain't right, you two! Sleepin-”

“Let me stop you there. Ponies started hating incest when fathers abused their daughters sexually. Using them to produce offspring so they could keep the throne. Eventually, after everypony hated it so much, they banned it.”

The surprised on Pumpkin's face was evident. “Pound? Wh...where...when did you look this up?”

“A few weeks ago. I wanted to see why it was so wrong to love your sister or brother. But it isn't. It was father's using their daughters. Any inter-family relationship was called incest, so they banned it, not really caring too much that the other practices weren't frowned upon.

“But when that scandal happened, they changed it so they wouldn't get in trouble. But everypony still thinks that all incest is bad. It isn't, Apple Bloom. Me and Pumpkin love each other. When ponies sleep with their family for fun or to stay in power, it's wrong, but when they do it out of love...”

He turned to his sister and took off his hat. “It's right. Just like what's happening between me and my sister.” He turned back to the Earth pony. “I really hope you understand us. And I really hope you don't hate us.”

“I...look, I'm so sorry. Any time you want apples, you got 'em free. I just...after Big Macintosh and Applejack did that, I got so much hell from everypony and I just...I hated them and everypony that did that kind of stuff.” She hung her head. “I'm sorry...”

“Hey, it's alright. We're all entitled to our opinions. And don't worry about the free apples. But I am hungry.” He tossed out a few bits too many with a wink and took and apple for him and his sister. “If anypony ever messes with you, just tell them the same thing I did.”

He winked again, walking away with a wide eyed, open mouthed sister in tow. He'd successfully shocked her. And the night had barely begun. Finally she came back to life and said two words.

“Damn, Pound.”
