Tea Time With Thor #1
Previous ChapterNext ChapterTea Time With Thor #1
In the sunny countryside circle, surrounded by dense fog, a charming red-headed lady sat with her leg crossed, sipping a cup of tea. Her name was Maria Thorpe; most people called her ‘Thor’ for some reason. She was a magical talking sword.
Normally, she would wear scales armor with her weapons ready, but today was a special day, so she picked a plain dress instead. All of her gears were hung on their respective showcases, except her dagger, which was still in its sheath tied onto her leather belt.
Next to her was a medium-dized dining table. A silver tray was placed in the range for her to grab the contents easily. On the tray were a couple of empty tea cups and a full kettle of hot tea. Also by the tray, were a couple plates which contained many kinds of baked good.
Thor perked up with a smile on her face, putting down her tea cup. “Greeting, readers!” she exclaimed and waved to you. “Yes, I do know that you are reading this novel. I think that should answer your curiousity.” she said and flicked her hand, another chair apparated out of thin air, and dropped down on the other side of the table. “Anyway, have a seat. We have something to discuss.”
You sit down on the provided chair with many questions in your head. Why did she have to talk with you? You have no idea at the moment, but soon all will be answered.
“Just a moment, please. Let me get the author of this novel.” Thor said before rising up and walking right into the surrounding fog, then returned with a young boy, barely out of his teens age. “Meet… umm… What’s your name again?”
“Thanawat Kittimethee, but that is my real name. You can call me BCCgb, BCC or something like those two. Fancy to meet you.” He offered his hand for you to shake it. “I was just reading for my final in the week after next week, and the Oridinary National Educational Test this weekend.” He sat down and poured the tea into two cups. “I shouldn’t have much time online. Don’t get me wrong, I can still write in the good old way: pen and papers. More chapters shall come soon, you have my word.” He took a sip from his cup, and handed you another.
“Aww, I wanted to have more heads. Tom isn’t cutting any lately,” Thor pouted, shoving a cupcake from the tray into her mouth.
“You’ll get more heads, Thor. Just wait for a couple more chapters, and you’ll surely get more than five hundreds heads in a row.”
The statement intrigued her. She sprung up from her seat, beaming happily. “Really!?”
“Yeah.”
"Huzzah!” she exclaimed with joy walzing around the place energetically. Then suddenly, BCC’s digital watch beeped repeatedly.
"Whoops, I think it’s time for me to say good bye. See you soon!” With that, he disappeared behind the thick fog, leaving only faint silhouettes behind as he travel through the vapor.
"Farewell, BCC!” Thor shouted behind him while waving a hankerchief. Where did she even get that?
You could only sit there, thinking about the information given by the young boy. If he had to take two big tests in such close interval, you could only wish him luck while you have fun and high quality gaming sessions.
“Anyway, have I mentioned that I got some more power for Tom?” You shook your head in denial. “All right then, here’re what I got: Shadow March. Stay invisible for a short duration. Perfect for stealthier approach. .
And the second one: Domination. Control animal, but since all the dominant species here are animals, I don’t think the second improvement is needed.” Thor paused for another sip of her tea; it was nearly empty when she put it on the table. “The last one: Nine lives. Cheat death by making a deal with the devil. He usually demands some souls, nothing to worry about. Tom’s got the Lord on his side, he will never do any harm to Tom.”
She stood up as she finish, stretching for a bit. What’s her antic this time? “I think it’s time for you to go back doing your business. Farewell and expect a brand new chapter soon, reader!”
The last thing you saw was her, snapping her fingers and a bright flash. With a poof you were back in front of your computer. And then, a message popped up:
Next ChapterAll of those experience you’ve encountered was real.
Sincerely,
Maria Thorpe
