//-------------------------------------------------------// Stallions have also Feelings -by Senseless88- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Two weeks after Big Macintosh helped Fluttershy to find her bunny, his feelings became stronger for her, because after they had found Angel, they had a nice conversation and Big Mac got to know her and he noticed that behind her shyness, there is a very kind mare. He wanted a date with Fluttershy, not only to have intimate time with her, but watching her wonderful pink mane or look deep in her blue eyes or even talk to her. The problem is that he didn't know how to ask. Usually Big Mac wouldn't have problems to ask a mare on a date (actually he never wanted a mare, but love finds his way), but Fluttershy was different. Fluttershy was differently than any other mare he knew, so it was more  difficult to ask her. Big Mac saw Fluttershy in the town while he was selling apples, and sometimes he followed her to her cottage just to see how kindly she cared about the animals; to see the side which she is actually hiding from other ponies (ok, this is stalking, but a well-meant stalking. You know what I mean, aren't you). Big Mac couldn't help but love Fluttershy even more than he already did now, every time he had seen her kindness. But Big Mac was so blinded by his love for Fluttershy that he couldn't see the truth; Fluttershy fell in love with Rainbow Dash. Big Mac didn't notice that Fluttershy was spending a lot of time with Rainbow Dash and every time Fluttershy was next to Rainbow Dash she blushed hevaliy, but Big Mac simply didn't notice it; a problem which is disastrous (for him). Big Mac took finally his courage and wanted to ask Fluttershy for a date with him. While Big Mac was working on Sweet Apple Acres, he thought how he could ask Fluttershy. Many pessimistic thoughts came in his mind. "What if she says no, or if she will think I want something from her , or even if she will hate me for the question?" he instantly thought. It was already evening as Big Mac finally had finished his work for today, he went in the barn and made a mannequin of Fluttershy out of the hay. Big Mac was suprised that the mannequin really looks like Fluttershy, he was a little bit proud of his work. Than he asked Fluttershy-mannequin for a date. Maybe 14 times; but then he was sure he can make it. So Big Mac ran into the Everfree Forest to vist Fluttershy in her cottage. As he came to the door, he took a deep breath and knocked three times. Big Mac had waited some seconds and knocked again. No reply. "Well, maybe she not at home. I will try it again tomorrow," he thought a little disappointed, because this stopped his euphoria. Big Mac went home while he had seen some dark clouds were forming in the air. "It seems there will be rain tonight, I better go a little bit faster," he thought, still disappointed. As Big Mac finally had come back to his home, he opend the door and saw Applejack. "Hey big brother, where have ya been, it's already 9 o'clock." "Ah was still workin', Ah can't sleep well when somethin' is unfinished," he said in his usual voice. "Alright, but Ah still need ya big brother, so don't make too much work which ya can't handle," she said satisfied but a little worried about him. "Eeyup" he said (obvious). "I should go sleep now. Every second I'm spending with thinking on Fluttershy make me just more nervous," -he thought- "maybe I...". His thoughts were interrupted by somepony who charged the door. It was Fluttershy; she seemed to be very happy. "Applejack! Applejack! I did it!" she screamed as loud as possible for her. "Hold on now, sugarcube. What do ya mean?" Applejack asked while Big Mac just stood there like a rock, and blushed. "I confessed my true feelings for Rainbow Dash. At the beginning she was very confused and cautious, but then we talked about our feelings to each other, I saw her serious side, I didn't even know she has one. Than I asked her to be um... my... marefriend, and she said yes, it was magic. And now I'm not afraid of so many things; for example to say you that Rainbow Dash is my marefriend, because I know she will be there for me and there is nothing to be afraid of." "That's great sugarcube. Ah know ya would find your true love," Applejack said proudly. "But that's not all. Just minutes ago I um... I... I had... my first... kiss, I had my first kiss with Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy said relieved. Big Mac couldn't believe what he just heard. It was like his hole world collapsed in just one second. He didn't know how to feel, sad, angry, confused, maybe happy for her, because she found her true love. It was too much for him and he decided to do nothing. Applejack and Fluttershy continued their talk for some minutes until Fluttershy left Sweet Apple Acres and Big Mac stood there without doing a movment, he still couldn't believe what just happend. Applejack turned around. "Isn't it great? Fluttershy found her love." "Eeyup," he said still shocked. "Maybe ya will find your true love one day too," she continued. "Eeyup," he said disappointed whereupon he looked on the floor. "Ah... must sleep now," he had said and then he went to bed. Big Mac turned around and ran in his room so that Applejack couldn't see the tears which were forming in his eyes. Applejack couldn't help but wondering why he behaves so strange. Big Mac laid in his bed, tears were still forming in his eyes. "Why," -he asked- "why Rainbow Dash, and why then when I wanted to ask her for a date? That's not fair. That's not fair! But maybe it's better so. When Fluttershy is happy with Rainbow Dash, then I'm also happy. And actually that is what I wanted for Fluttershy: happiness with somepony, and when I'm not her special somepony, maybe Rainbow Dash will do it even better than me," he thought to calm down. And with these final thoughts he fell asleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Depression //-------------------------------------------------------// Depression As Big Mac awoke from his dreamless night with a very wet pillow, it was raining heavily. Usually he would instantly stand up and be ready for the day, but he simply can't get up. "At least we are having Saturday so I don't have to work today," -he thought- "and there is no reason to get up when your heart is broken... Ah still can't believe Fluttershy is a lesbian." After some minutes lost in his depressed thougts he finally stood up. "At first Ah will have breakfast and then... Ah don't know," so he went down to make breakfast. Nopony was there except of him. Big Mac saw an apple pie with a note on it. "Dear big broter, Applebloom and I have to do some work and Granny Smith will be in Appleloosa for one more week, I left this apple pie for you, hope you like it. Your little sis." So he took the cake and ate 1/4 of it, usually he would be very hungry, but today he was full. Big Mac tried to enjoy the cake but it tasted like dirt. After he had eaten the cake, he went in the barn to his Fluttershy-mannequin and cuddled with it. "At least Ah have ya, Fluttershy-mannequin" he said, comforting himself. Big Mac laid there for some minutes. He closed his eyes and tried to think that the mannequin would be the real Fluttershy; but it didn't help. "Actually Ah should be happy for Fluttershy, but somethin' prevents me... maybe Rainbow Dash isn't the right for Fluttershy. No! No no no! Ah must stop thinkin' such so things," he thought out loud. "Fluttershy is happy with Rainbow Dash, and Ah am happy for them," he told himself. Then he stood up and sighed. Big Mac went instinctively to Fluttershys cottage, but he didn't know why. On his way to Fluttershys cottage, he looked always on the ground; with a disappointed expression; lost in his thoughts. "I just want to see how she's doing," he thought, trying to find a reason why he went to Fluttershys cottage. It felt like hours until he finally arrived to his destination. He wanted to knock but something prevented him. "Wait. Maybe she doesn't want to be interrupted. Ah should look in the window first." So he went to a window and he had seen Fluttershy, lying on the couch with another pony. It was Rainbow Dash who kissed Fluttershy, but it wasn't an innocent kiss. Big Mac felt tears forming in his eyes again. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Sadness overwhelmed him. He sat down and cried without noises. After 10 minutes, Big Mac still cried and the door opened. Fluttershy came out with Rainbow Dash while Big Mac had hidden in a bush. Fluttershy said goodbye to Rainbow Dash and they kissed again. Big Mac had watched it, and new tears were forming in his eyes. After Rainbow Dash was out of range and Fluttershy went into her cottage, Big Mac was running home. He felt anger as he entered the barn. "That doesn't make sense. They don't even fit!" Big Mac went to Fluttershy-mannequin. "Ya are stupid that you chose her!!!" he yelled at it. Than he bashed Fluttershy-mannequin until it became a lump of hay again. Big Mac punched the barn and made a hole into the wall. Than he cried again. "Why doesn't she love me!!!" he cried. His emotions were going crazy. It repeated in a rhythm. First sad, then angry, then sad again and one time even cheerful, but then angry again. Applejack was watching him, and after 5 minutes she walked very worried to him. Big Mac noticed her. "Go away, please. Ah don't want that you are seein' me like this," he said ashamed. "Ya need help. Speak to me, maybe Ah can help ya," she said, comforting him. "No, it's my problem. Ah must handle it on my own. Ya can't help me. Please, leave me alone," he said while he was avoiding to look at Applejack. "Well, ok," Applejack said as she left the barn. At the door, she turned around. "But if ya need help, Ah will be there for you," she said, and with these words she left the barn. Big Mac continued crying and fell asleep after one hour. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Twist //-------------------------------------------------------// The Twist One week passed and Big Mac was still depressed, but he had tried to continue his normal life which was more difficult than he thought, because he was still thinking about Fluttershy; and how she had broken his heart. Big Mac talked with Applejack about his delicate problem. It relieving to have somepony to talk about it. Applejack gave him some good advices although it was even for her a delicate problem, but one sentence of her he will never forget. "If you really love her, then tell it her, no matter if she has a relationship." Big Mac was selling apples in the town as Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash came to him. "Hello Big Macintosh, I um... would like to have two apples," Fluttershy asked with her soft voice. "Eeyup," Big Mac said, trying to hide how nervous he was. After they had completed their trade, and Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were going away, Big Mac remembered the words of his sister. "If you really love her, then tell it her, no matter if she has a relationship." "Tell it her, tell it her. Now!" a voice said in his mind. But it was too late, they were out of range, and Big Mac stood there with a depressed expression. The day passed, and Big Mac went into the Everfree Forest to be alone. It was already night, and Luna's moon was very bright that night. So Big Mac continued his walk, he didn't know where he was going, but after some time he saw two ponies who were lying together. There were (who would expect it) Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash who cuddled. "Why does the world hate me so much," he thought. Big Mac sat down and was thinking with closed eyes that he is lying with Fluttershy, and not Rainbow Dash. So the three ponies laid there in peace. "Fluttershy, do want to have, well... you know," Rainbow Dash said. "What?" Fluttershy asked. "Sex," Rainbow Dash whispered in her ear. "Sex!? No, sorry Rainbow Dash but I'm not ready for it. Maybe one day but not now," Fluttershy said while she had hoped that this disscusion would be over. "Come on, don't be so shy," -Rainbow Dash said as she laid on Fluttershy- "this won't hurt you, I will be very gentle, I promise." "No Rainbow Dash, I'm not feeling good about it," Fluttershy said as she pushed her away. "Belevie me, you will feel got when I'm done with you," Rainbow Dash said with an evil smile. "No, no, no, no. I won't do it, of course, if that's ok with you." Rainbow Dash kept trying to persuade her to have sex but Fluttershy pushed her always away. Big Mac couldn't watch it any longer, so he ran to them to help Fluttershy. "Stop it, NOW!!!" he yelled at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash turnded around and was very embarrassed, so she did the only thing she was thinking of: yelling back. "Are you crazy? Are you stalking us you perverse guy!?" she yelled back at Big Mac. "No. But if Fluttershy doesn't want to have sex now, then ya shouldn't force her!!!" he yelled even louder. Rainbow Dash was now looking deep in his eyes. "Care your own business! You can be happy that you are the brother of my best friend, because otherwise you were already dead," she yelled. "Do ya want to mess with me?" he asked concentrated. Seconds of tense quietness passed. "Ok. But I'm just leaving, because I'm bored. Come on Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash finally said. "No," -Big Mac replied- "you will go, and she will stay. When Fluttershy is with you, then she is in danger." "Maybe she should decide. Fluttershy?" Fluttershy waited some seconds and looked alternately to Big Mac and Rainbow Dash. "Um... actually... I want to stay with Big Macintosh for now. I'm sorry Rainbow Dash, but I need time to calm down." "Hmpf... fine, I will go now," said Rainbow Dash obstinately. With these words she flew away. Big Mac turned to Fluttershy. "Are ya alright," he asked with a worried and very soft voice. "Yes, I mean... no, I mean... I don't know, I need time to realize what just happend. She began to cry. "Pshhh. There is nothin' to be afraid of," he said, trying to calm her down as he hugged her. "Thank *sniff* you, Big Macintosh," she said, still crying. "Please, call me just Big Mac." "Ok, Big Mac." Big Mac interrupted the hug. "Do ya want that I'm leaving now?" he asked "No, I want you here with me, if that's ok with you," she replied instantly. "Well... ok." So they laid there and talked about their live, their problems and even more (like the conversation they had after Big Mac had found Angel). He remembered the words of Applejack. "If you really love her, then tell it her, no matter if she has a relationship." But he couldn't take the courage to say it, and then they fell asleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// I was wrong //-------------------------------------------------------// I was wrong Big Mac awoke and was happy to see that Fluttershy was still next to him (she was still asleep). Big Mac watched her for some minutes with a gentle smile on his face until she awoke too. "Good morining, Big Mac," she said satisfied. "Mornin'," he replied as he remembered the words of Applejack. "If you really love her, then tell it her, no matter if she has a relationship." So he took his courage. "Fluttershy, Ah wanted to say that, well... Ah... Ah love ya," he said, afraid of her reaction. "What?!" she asked confused. "Ah love ya. Ah love ya since I have realized that ya aren't as shy as I thought. Ya are very kind and actually Ah love everything on you. Your shyness, your kindness, and well... Ah can't describe it in words how much Ah love ya." Fluttershy was just sitting there in confusion. "I... um... I... I... I really don't know what I have to say now," she said very confused. "Ya don't have to say anythin'. Ah just wanted that you know my true feelings." He turned around and wanted to leave Fluttershy. "Wait," -Big Mac turned his head to her- " when you really love me, why haven't you tell it me?" "Actually Ah wanted to ask ya for a date, but then ya charged into my home and said this hole thing with Rainbow Dash to Applejack. Ah have heard every word. Then I went into my room and cried," he told her. So Big Mac explained Fluttershy the hole story until this moment, Fluttershy just listened and looked at him concentrated. "Big Mac, I... I didn't know it," she said, shocked from the story. "I never wanted to hurt your feelings, I'm ashamed of myself," she started to cry. "Ya don't have to cry," he hugged her. "I'm so sorry," their embrace took one minute until Rainbow Dash came out of a bush where she was hiding. "Alright, I heard everything," Rainbow Dash was looking on Fluttershy. "Fluttershy, I'm *sigh*, I'm sorry. I should have been more considerate with you. I hope this isn't the end for our friendship," she apologized. "No way, Rainbow Dash. I accept your apology, but I don't think we could be a couple any longer," Fluttershy said with her usual soft voice. "I know. Maybe we both were too overhasty to find our love, well... your love. I don't need such so things," Rainbow Dash said proudly. Fluttershy giggled and put then her hoof on Rainbow Dash's shoulder. "I'm sorry too. I was just so confused and I didn't know what I wanted. I just wanted a special somepony and you were there for me, in almost every situation when I needed help. So I began to admire you... and to love you, but as I already said: I was confused and that weren't true feelings. You are more like a big sister to me." Fluttershy kissed Rainbow Dash on the cheek whereupon she blushed. "So we are finished here and... oh, it's already so late," -Rainbow Dash looked on her imaginary watch- "I have to go now," and with these words she flew away. Fluttershy turned to Big Mac. "Big Mac, I'm sorry. I was wrong with the hole relationship." "Ya know what, I had the presumption that she isn't the right for you the hole time," he said with a smile. "Well, you were right, so does it mean... you, and I... are... a couple now?" she asked. Big Mac didn't know what he should say (actually this was that, what he ever wanted). After some seconds Big Mac opened his mouth. "That sounds not so good. Ah love ya Fluttershy but that doesn't mean we can be a couple so fast," he explained. "But I thought this was what you want," Fluttershy said confused. "Yes, but maybe we should get to know more about each other, before we become a couple. I could go to your cottage when I have finished my work so that we can talk about the day or about us, and you could join me at Sweet Apple Acres," he suggested, afraid of her answer. But Fluttershy pressed her lips against his, they were warm and soft. His heart raced, it felt very strange and odd but also... good, Big Mac closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment. "Sounds good, so... maybe you could come to me this night when you've finished your work," said Fluttershy after they had finished the kiss. "Eeyup." //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue A few months passed and Fluttershy and Big Macintosh became close friends (and even more). The two ponies laid in Big Mac's bed side by side and cuddled together and Big Mac was happier than ever. "Do you remember the words you said in the morning a few months ago?" asked Fluttershy with her soft voice. "Eeyup. Ah said: Ah love ya," he replied. "Right... I think I'm ready to say it to you too," she smiled at him. "Then say it," he said excited. Fluttershy blushed and hide her face behind her mane (it was more difficult than she thought to say these three words). "I... I lo *mumble*," she mumbled. "Pardon," Big Mac said. "I... I... eep." Big Mac couldn't help but laugh. "It's alright, Ah don't want to force ya to say it," he said whereupon Fluttershy calmed down and took her courage as she heard his gentle voice. She looked deep in his eyes with a serious expression. "I... I love you, Big Macintosh," she said relieved "I love you, I love you!" she almost cried. Fluttershy was very proud and happy as she said these words. "And Ah love ya too, Fluttershy," "Are we know a couple," asked Fluttershy. "Hmm...  Ah would say... yes, we are a couple," he said and kissed her forehead. Fluttershy took a deep breath. "Yay!," she "screamed".
