(Set in the 'Equestria Divided' AU created by PoorYorickDA on deviantart.com.) The noble and mighty Star Lords chapter are tasked with a 7 year 'Javelin' exploratory mission into unexplored space with hope of expanding the Imperiums' inventory of resourceful and/or inhabitable worlds. The crusade goes on without so much as a cloud of dust in site, until the space marine fleet stumble across a lush world with a vast population. However, the natives of this planet are locked in a devastating war that could end up annihilating all civilization on its' surface. Now it is up to the Star Lords to make a difficult choice:

-Follow their original course and ignore the planet. This world has no resourceful nor tactical assets that can be exploited and the ongoing conflict is of no business or worry of the Galactic Imperium.

-Make planet-fall and liberate the countries that are in conflict. Though such a task may require surgical care, and may well drain the fleets resources, the Star Lords can carry yet another honour to add to their chapters history.

Equestria hangs in the balance, a daemonic threat looms ever closer, and the innocent ponies caught in the crossfire look to the stars for salvation.
