//-------------------------------------------------------// 1000 years later... -by Mundane_Eclipse- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// And then my eyes opened //-------------------------------------------------------// And then my eyes opened --------------------Chapter 1-------------------- And then my eyes opened And then my eyes opened, and I was sitting there, being not sure where THERE is. as my eye's became more attune to the sunlight I sat up, and I looked towards the vastness that was in front of me. It was a field, a quite large one, but why was I at a field. just seconds ago I was sitting at my desk, studying the way that a Pegasus walks on clouds, I had a theory that it may have something to do with a hardening the clouds that touch them, however it would seem that i'm not going to get to continue that study right now... so I got up, and I thought to my self, "how did I get here...". I started to wonder if it was a prank by my friend Comedic Error, who we usually called Bottom. He would often play tricks on ponies, however he was always a good laugh so we kept him around. As I walked further from where I woke up I noticed something out in the distance. It was a shadow of a town. So I ran, I ran as fast as I possibly could to the town. "why was I running so fast" I asked my self, "nothing dangerous has happened... yet", I was always the kind to stay alone anyway, why was being alone now so strange. it was a strange feeling, as if I was somewhere different, somewhere far from home, somewhere strange... I eventually ended up at the town, but it was very different to Canterlot, for one it was allot more humble, secondly it was allot more advanced, which of course contradicts it's self... however it was true, as I passed by the stores and houses I saw allot of strange things... for example there was moving pictures playing in this one place, and there where these strange bulb-ish things that created light. I was confused and ultimately I decided to ask somepony where I was. So I walked up to this brown earth pony and asked him 'Where am I?'. He was nice enough to reply 'ponyville, my friend'... then he looked at me, he looked at me in a strange way, almost as if he was trying to examine me. the ironic thing about him trying to examine me is that I was the master of analysis, understanding and observation. in fact that's what I was best at, I was well known for being able to see things easier then others, grasping things easier then others, and coming to an conclusion better then others... I'd always say the best way to think was to think logically and solve creatively, and it worked, i would look at the world logically, then I would come to a conclusion creatively... and then the earth pony asked me a question 'What is your name?'. and I casualty replied 'Mundane Eclipse, why do you ask?', the he ran off... So I continued to explore the town, hoping to figure out how to get back to Canterlot... maybe I should just take a rest first, otherwise I might start getting agitated, and I don't want to get agitated... So I walked over to a small shop that sold coffee, they called them self a cafe, I guess that's some kind of slang...  I entered the humble store and saw a newspaper, I figured that while I was relaxing I might as well catch up on current events. So I grabbed a newspaper, sat down at a table and started to read, and to my surprise, at the very top it read: PonyVille Press                                              10/07/2013 But this can't be... the year is 1013, not 2013, well it was probably just a typo, I mean it is a small difference. I remember one time when the newspaper produced an issue that was apparently from 011. So I'm honestly not surprised... So I decided to read an article: Miss. Twilight Sparkle [are most recent and new princess] has finally returned back to ponyville after her coronation at Canterlot. we tried to get an interview with her, however we had no luck, however we where able to get a talk with her baby dragon, and he said "I still can't believe Twilight's a princess, this is AWESOME! she still seems a little strange about it, but I'm sure she will get over it soon enough... hay, by the way why are you asking me this?". Twilight is taking residence in the local library, where she lived before becoming a princess... Strange, I'd never heard of this Twilight Sparkle, and she seems to be a new princess. Apparently she has recently came back from Canterlot, maybe I should speak with her, then maybe I could get back to Canterlot... or at the very least, I could see what this whole new princess thing is about... So I left the coffee shop to go and find the local library. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Library in a Tree //-------------------------------------------------------// The Library in a Tree --------------------Chapter 2-------------------- The Library in a Tree I walked around the town, looking for the local library, however I couldn't find it and I swear I looked everywhere, although I'll be honest, it was probably because of the fact that all this strange technology was distracting me... it seemed very strange how Canterlot doesn't have this kind of technology... Soon I found that brown pony again. Since he was nice enough to tell me where I was before, I figured he would tell me where the library was. I walked up to him and said 'hello'. he seemed very afraid as I said that, or at the very least he looked like he didn't want me to be there. He seemed a little scared as he said to me 'oh, hello again...'. he was pulling his face away from me, he didn't want to talk to me, I'm not sure why... maybe I should try and find out, so I asked 'How are you?'. I needed to find out if he was going to lie. firstly I needed to see if he was right or left hoofed. I looked down at his right hoof, and in it was an apple. he must have been eating it, since he was doing nothing in his left hoof he was doing this because it was more comfortable. at about the time i figured out he was right handed he looked to the upper-left and said 'I'm... Fine'. he was lying, when a right handed pony looks up and two the left it means he's making up something, if he was looking to the right then he would be recalling on a memory. so he was obviously not fine... but I still need to ask him about the library, so I said 'Hay, do you know where the library is?'. he looked up and to the right and said 'Um, it's in the center of town, it's a giant tree, and kind of hard to miss' he was telling the truth... but I wanted to ask him one more thing, I wanted to know his name, So I said 'Hay, by the way, what's your name'. I had to watch this one carefully, I needed to know if he was lying. He looked to the right and said 'I'm Time Turner'. he was telling the truth, I said my goodbyes to him, and then I walked off... off to find the library, and the princess... I soon ended up in the center of town, and that Time Turner guy was right, the library was hard to miss... I breathed in and got ready to open the door, hoping that in this place, with this Miss. Twilight Sparkle, I could find out were I am, What happened, how I can get home. So I used my magic to open the door, and entered the library... however to my surprise the place was empty, I searched around for anypony. however I had no luck... For Celestia's sake where is she... I looked behind me at the opened door. and on it I saw a note that read: To whom it may concern, The Library will be closed for a while, I am going to be going to a party with a few of my friends                                                                                                -Twilight Sparkle I sighed, 'what do I do now' I asked my self. My only hope to answer all my questions was gone for who knows how long... then I realized, I'm in a library! possibly, just possibly, I could find the answers in here...
