The Blue Heart Shattered By Nightmares

Prologue

A small dark cloud raced through the Everfree Forest. This cloud was composed of pure hatred and darkness, it no longer contained the desire for love or affection, all it desired was destruction...and eternal darkness. This cloud was once  known as Nightmare Moon, posessing two different entities, but being defeated and even being driven from her own body. Every time the cloud was driven from its host's body it lost a part of itself, to the Elements of Harmony, to Princess Luna's magic, to a bolt of anger driven lightning. Now it was but a pitiful dark gray cloud, one more hit and it would be gone forever, but it knew where to find the power to posess again. It knew how to turn thoughts of hatred, pain, sadness, and overall darkness into evil magic, that was how it was born after all. With a few quick movements the grey cloud reached its destination, where it would formulate its next plan to create eternal night in Equestria. It wasn't the moon, Princess Luna would suspect something wrong there, it wasn't the abandoned castle of the royal pony sisters, that place was unfit for what it had in store, plus monsters would pick a fight with it in such an open area, and it wasn't Nightmare Moon's abandoned castle, it was too close to Ponyville and was sometimes searched for things by guards. No, it was underground, under the Everfree Forest, in a large cave, where the roots of dark trees deposited powerful magic the cloud would need. This is where its sickly evil ritual would take place, but right now it is unfit, so the cloud decides to  stay here and absorb magic to posess henchponies into preparing it.

The cloud was almost ready, a few ponies have prepared an area for the cloud to take its final host and merge itself with him or her. All that was left was to find a host, and the cloud has an idea who. A pale blue pegasus pony that was resentful of having to leave her home in Manehatten for Cloudsdale. The cloud had evil intentions for this little pony that had her heart shattered and her hatred fueled by her family.

Yes...it had very evil intentions...for Blue Shatter.
