Tick- Tock, Reverse the Clock
Planes, Plains, and Just Plain Pain (Prolog)
Load Full StoryIn the magical land of Equestria, everything was peaceful and monotone as usual. It was late at night, so almost everyone was asleep, drifting off peacefully, enjoying Princess Luna's wonderful night, also as usual. There was but one person, or rather, pony, as is this countries majority in race, was not enjoying said night, and that was the Princess herself.
"Soon, soon my experiment will be able to be tested! Oh my, I am beginning to sound like one Twilight Sparkle. No matter, time to see if the spell works!" There was an enormous amount of icy blue electricity flowing from the Princess's horn, overflowing from her horn.
Unfortunately, during said spell something pulled at her magic, ripping away at her mana pool and running it dry. Due to the sheer amount of strain she was enduring, The Princess of the Night collapsed, knocked unconscious due to the strain. Her spell had not failed however. A being had just been placed on the edge of the Everfree Forest. A small, blue colt to be exact, placed just outside of Ponyville. Luna had done it! She had actually summoned an intellectual being from another dimension. However, it did come with an unwanted guest.
Earth 1969
Frank Abignale sat in his coach seat of a passenger plane, which had left France several hours age and was now headed back to the good ol' United States O' America. Frank slowly turned to his side to look at the man sitting next to him, whose name is, and always will remain as, Carl Hanratty.
'Lucky him, he doesn't have to change his name every six months, and lie to everyone about his life!
Frank thought, his mind churning deep in thought. Then again, neither do I. I am not on the run anymore, and Carl was able to actually catch me. Well, I guess I can be an honest man now.
Frank thought as he put in the headphones in for the T.V. and stated in a serious yet semi relaxed manner,
"You said I could call my father. When can I do as such."
"Oh Frank, I wish I didn't have to be the one to tell you this, but, your dad is dead. He tripped while entering into the Grand Central Terminal. He fell down an immensely long stair case and broke his neck. By the time anyone reached him, he was Gone. I truly am sorry, Frank."
"Wh-What?!?! Y-You lied to me!!!!! But you said I could talk to him!!!! Why did you lie to me!"
"It was the only way I could get you to come with me willingly. If you didn't come with me, those French police men would have killed you. I am so very sorry, Frank."
"M-my Dad. My, dad." For a few, albeit brief moments, Frank simply sat there, muttering under his breath, tears threatening to gush out and flow all over his face.
"Oh my God, I think I am gonna be sick."
"Come on, Frank, I'll take ya to the bathroom." And thus Carl walked Frank hurriedly tothe small laboratory at the end of the coach isle in the large passenger plane.
"Why, Oh dear merciful God Why!?!?!!??!?!" Frank screamed to the heavens as he cried his heart out over the death of his father. As Frank was weeping in agony over the loss of his father, the now deceased Frank William Abignale Senior, he happened to notice that a single screw holding this particular air liner's crapper seat on had been jarred loose. Then Frank had an idea. An extremely brilliant idea. A simply horribly brilliant idea.
Approximately twenty or twenty one minutes later, give or take a few milliseconds
Carl Hanratty and two police officers stood patiently outside the passenger planes crapper.
"Frank! Frank, come on out buddy. I know, it is a lot to take in, but could you please just come out all ready. Frank, are you listening to me. If you don't come out, I am going to have to send in one of my boys after you."
Just then a flight attendant came up to the three gentle men and said.
"Sirs we will be landing in five minutes, please take your seats."
"One moment sweet heart." Carl turned to one of the officers next to him, nodding to signal for him to go to work. The man imeadiatly elbowed the door and in two swift moves, was able to successfully break in to the facilities. The crapper was empty.
"He's gone! How can he be gone! Ugh, this is impossible! How could he get out of a mother friggin' crapper!!!!." And that was when he conveniently happened to look over to his left, and, using his cool detective like skills, was able to notice that the screws holding up the filet within the plane had been left loose.
"That clever son of a gun."
If you happened to be in the correct terminal in the airport on that particular date, you would have witnessed a truly peculiar site. As a passenger plane landed, you could have bore witness to a strange figure crawling down the plane, standing directly above the wheel, and jumping off not thirty seconds after it had touched down. Said person, who was commonly known as Frank, had undone the Celestial Throne, and climbed down the plane's shaft, and jumped off. After jumping the plane, Frank bolted and ran to the edge of the property. That night, at the end of the airport, a small figure wept and slept in his own misery. His name was Frank William Abignale Junior.
