Summer Sun Celebration

..Fluffy Land…

Now that it was summer, all the fluffy ponies had left their burrows and were dancing and eating and preparing to give their young to good ponies (many wild fluffy ponies decide to give their young to regualar ponies as they make good pets.)

The queen of the fluffy ponies, Hugs, a gigantic purple fluff ball, was sat on a blanket eating with her mate, as her young (and the next generation of fluffy ponies,) had arrived. They weren’t moving yet but they would soon enough.

All the while her subjects and children were baking treats and preparing fluff decorations for the Summer Sun Celebration.

…Mountain of Doom…

Hydia stood at the top of the mountain, where a huge crater sat. Once her daughters bring her the potion all she had to do was pour the mixture in and add some essence of Life and the mountain would release the smooze similarly to a volcano. Hydia’s snaggley grin widened when Reeka and Draggle came into view. “Do you have it?”

“Yep.” Draggle responded, handing her the bucket.

“Excellent! EXCELLENT!” She squealed, pouring the gray liquid into the hole.

“I don’t think it’s working.” Stated Reeka.

“That’s because we haven’t inserted the most important ingredient…. ESSENCE OF LIFE!” Hydia pulled out a bottle, it contained odd liquid that resembled Princess Celestia’s mane. Hydia carefully added just a single drop, “Stand back girls”

Suddenly, the gray liquid began to grow in size, becoming purple also. After a few seconds it had gained many eyes and was releasing low, ghostly moans.

Hydia, Reeka and Draggle all stepped inside their home as the Smooze began to ooze down the mountain at a fast pace.

“Let’s see those little ponies out-run my SMOOZE!”

…Fluffy Land…

Many Fluffy Ponies squealed with excitement as the group arrived, Twilight decided to go to Hugs first.

“Hello, Prwincess Sparkle!” She smiled, much like a filly or Derpy would.

“Hello Hugs.” Twilight bowed slightly, causing Hugs to blush.

“Dun’t bow for me, Prwincess.” She stated, “What brwings woo to Fluffy Land?”

“Rarity apparently had some work to do here, we were wondering if she showed up?”

“TWILIGHT! HUGS! BEHIND YOU!” Rainbow yelled, sounding shocked.

Ponies had gone into panic mode, desperately trying to outrun the stuff.

Twilight watched in horror as a purple, sludgy wave came crashing over the hills, yelling for her friends to run faster.

Whilst running, Fluttershy had turned back and spotted two fluffy foals on the ground, and leapt to grab them.

“Hop on!” She yelled, and kneeled down so they could reach, the tiny fluff balls climbed on her back as she attempted to run back to safety, however was hit right on with purple sludge.

“Oh Fluttershy!” Raindrops exclaimed, “It’s all my fault! I’m sorry!”

Fluttershy was now covered mane to tail in purple, with only a few patches of pink and yellow left “Yeah!” She yelled rudely, “It’s all YOUR fault! Your just bad luck!”

“Fluttershy!” Rainbow exclaimed, jaw on the floor.

“It’s not your fault Raindrops. Fluttershy is just like that from the Smooze.” Twilight gently rested her wing on Raindrop’s shoulder.

“Smooze?” Everypony asked.

“Yes. And I know the witches sent it, we have to get back to Ponyville and warn the others!”

“But what about Spike and Rarity?” Derpy asked.

“You, Raindrops and Doctor Whooves can look for them,” Twilight smiled at the trio, “We’re trusting you on this.”

“Forget it they’re never going to find them!” Fluttershy began to walk off in a mood.

A red fluffy foal began tugging at Derpy’s hoof.

“You wanna come with us, little fella?” The Doctor asked, and it nodded its head.

Derpy knelt down and let it climb onto her back and the gender-neutral foal squealed in approval.

“We won’t let you down Princess Twilight, unless we fail.” Raindrops stated. “Badly.”
