Equestria…a land of peace and a land of prosperity, where anyone can make a living and everyone can be somebody. The land is lush, plentiful, and its people enjoy unending peace and joy. But little do they know that the peace they enjoy is fragile and fluid. To the west of Equestria are the lands of Vertania, home of the Changeling Empire, and to the north the Mountains of the Griffon Oligarchy in the region of Waldreich. These two nations and their mighty strength have been a constant annoyance to the peace of Equestria.
In turn, Equestria’s distinguished leader Princess Celestia Eques formed the Equestrian Guard. This military force made out of the Equestrian Military Elites is the toughest forces on the planet. The Air Guard branch is considered the highest of these elites, made up of airmen and women with the highest efficiency ratings and impeccable skills. They keep their eyes open, ears to the sky, watching, waiting, and wondering when the winds of war will come to Equestria.

On a sun soaked airstrip near Neighagra falls, the future of the Air Guard arrives for their first day on the job…
