Raven's Arrival

                                                     The Golden Oak Library [Night]

Chung woke up by a strange noise outside.Chung thought that it might be the trees hitting the windows,so he tried to go back to sleep,but got disrupted by another odd sound.Chung was trying his best to ignore it and try to get some rest but nature itself refused to stop.But then,Chung heard another sound,but this time it he heard voices."Who would talk this late at night?" Chung questioned himself. "I'll go tell them to stop.I might have to bring my Silver Shooters just in case things get nasty." Chung got up from his bed,grabbed his Silver Shooters and walked slowly and quietly to the door so he doesn't wake up the others.Chung opened the door,and entered outside which was very cold.He realized he didn't have his armor on,but Chung didn't bother to go back in and get it,he perceives to move forward to try to find who was talking at such a late night.He looked around the house for a good 10 minutes and found nothing,"I looked around for good amount of time.I should go back to bed." But when he tried to open the door,he heard a whisper."Come...find...me." Chung turned around and saw his...father?

"Father?" Chung said. "Why are you here?"

"Son." His father said in a sad tone. "I'm.....dead.What you're seeing now is a spirit from the dead."

Chung was shocked. "How?!" Chung demanded an answer.

"When I was healed back in Hamel,there was a horde of enemies wanting to kill me,I battled my way out of the palace,but when I finally got out of the palace,I got shot in the back by one of enemies.I dropped to the floor in pain,and after a few minutes,I died from losing too much blood." His father said.

Chung let out a small tear. "I'm...sorry I wasn't there to help you Father...I've failed you."

His father puts his hand on his shoulder. "You didn't failed me son,this wasn't your fault."

"Father." Chung said. "Does this mean you'll never come back to life?"

"Probably not." His father said. "But don't lose faith in me son.Perhaps you'll find a way to heal me back to life,I know you will."

Chung suddenly heard a noise,but from inside of the house. "Chung!" A familiar voice said. "Are you outside?" "Twilight woke up.Crap,how am I going to explain this to her?"

"I must go my son." His father said.

"Wait!" Chung yelled. "Will I ever see you again?"

His father gave him a smile. "Of course you will my son,I will always be right next to you.Your friends may not see it but you will." Chung's Father kissed his forehead before he faded away.But he said one last thing before he left. "Just remember son.I will always be there for you.No matter what happens.I will heal you...goodbye my son,I wish you the best of luck." His father disappears.Twilight opened the door and saw Chung on his knees. "Chung!" Twilight shouted. "Are you okay?" Chung got up and turned to her. "Yeah.I'm fine." Chung said.Twilight gave him a confused look. "Then why are you outside and who did you talked to at such a late night?"

Chung wasn't sure what to say next,but he tried to think of way to say something back.He could tell that Twilight was waiting for a response,so Chung just said the first thing that came to his mind. "I heard something outside,so I decided to go check what it was,and I found nothing.I was just talking to someone who needed directions.Nothing more."

Twilight just looked at Chung with a strange look.Chung hoped that Twilight bought it. "Are you sure you're not lying to me?"

"I swear Twilight.I'm not lying to you,I promise." Chung said.

"Okay...but I'm keeping an eye on you." Twilight said.

"That's fine with me.Now I'm going to get some rest if you don't mind." Chung said as he his entering the tree like house.Twilight didn't questioned Chung,so she went back to her house and went back to bed as if nothing happened.There is no way that any of that is true.I'm going to figure out what happened first thing in the morning." Twilight thought to herself.But Twilight still couldn't figure out why Chung wouldn't tell the truth."Why is Chung hiding this from me?" Twilight might never know what happen in this dark night.
