“...and they were never heard from again. Muhahahahahaha..."
“That one wasn't that scary, RD."
“Oh come on AJ, that’s one of my best."
"Yeah Applejack, Dashie makes the best scary stories!” Pinkie beamed.
"I thought it was charming, darling."
“Yeah I agree... hey where'd Fluttershy go??” said Twilight.
The ponies look around and notice that their shy animal loving friend is nowhere to be found.
"She probably got scared and ran home" said Rainbow Dash. "Maybe we should go check on her and see if she's okay" Twilight said.
They all agreed and headed out. Now this just seems like a normal night in Ponyville, hanging out with friends, but little do these ponies know that this is no ordinary night. There was a reason their shy little friend lived in the woods (A reason that Princess Celestia knew about), and they were all about to find out.
They arrived at Fluttershy's house but no lights were on. There was a note that read "Dear riends, if you were wondering why I left, I forgot that I had to do something in the Everfree Forest. Please don't try to find me, I am fine. Your friend Fluttershy.”
" Fluttershy.... in THE EVERFREE FOREST!!??” Dash roared.
"Something’s not right you guys," said Twilight.
"She did say she was all right and not to follow her." said Rarity.
“Well I’m not going to just stand here and do nothing, Ya'll with me or not??" Applejack said.
"We're in" said everyone.
They entered into the Forest, not noticing the dark figure lurking behind them.
“Fluttershy..... Fluttershhhhyy.... FLUTTEEERRRRSHHHHHHYYYYY!!!”
"Thanks Pinkie, that'll help," said Rainbow Dash checking to see if she could still hear.
"What could she possibly be doing in here?" asked Twilight.
"I don't know but.... did ya'll hear that??"
They all listened but only heard the normal sounds of the Forest. “Let's just continue...”
"Wait, don't go."
They all jumped and huddled together. "What in tarnation was that?" proclaimed Applejack.
"It’s okay. I’m here now."
They searched for the sound and found the dark mysterious figure standing behind them.
"Fluttershy??" they all said, feeling slightly uneasy. There was no reply.
“Hey Fluttershy?” said Rainbow Dash as she got up and walked toward what seemed like their friend.
“Wait Dashie, we don't know if that’s her!" said Pinkie but she followed her friend. As they got closer they saw it was Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy are you all right?" Fluttershy didn't look at them and said nothing. “Come on Flutters, let’s go..."
"Hush now..." Fluttershy said. They all looked in alarm as they saw her raise something. Pinkie suddenly screamed and ran back but Rainbow Dash stood frozen in horror as the chainsaw was raised just above her.
"Time to go to bed," Fluttershy said as she swung down and everyone screamed as Rainbow Dash crumbled to the ground. Fluttershy now looked at them with a psychotic face showing no signs of the friend they used to know.
"Hush its okay, I'm here now." she said as she started toward them. They all ran deeper into the woods wishing that this was all a terrible nightmare, that they didn't just witness their friend dying at the hand of another, but the darkening night only foretold that it was only going to get worse.
They ran until their hooves couldn't take another step. Everyone stopped crying a long time ago and where now left only with shock and confusion.
"What are we going to do Twilight, Fluttershy just killed Rainbow Dash!" said Rarity. Twilight had no response as Applejack tried to comfort Pinkie and they just sat to rest.
"We have no way of getting help. We're lost here from fleeing, it looks like our only way out is to stick together and either capture or...... kill Fluttershy." Twilight finally said.
"It’s not real it’s.... just a dream... not... Fluttershy."
"It's okay Pinkie, we're gonna figure this out," said Applejack.
"Don't go."
Everypony stood up.
"Oh not now!"
"Where is she?"
"It's okay, I’m here now."
“Everypony get behind me, I'll try to use my magic to get out of here. Pinkie where are you going??" cried Twilight. Pinkie slowly walked toward a present that they just noticed but Fluttershy held it.
"PINKIE DON’T DO IT!" they screamed, “IT’S A TRAP!!! Pinkie ignored them and met Fluttershy.
"Here you go Pinkie, I'm sorry. It's okay, I'm here now." Fluttershy said.
"Really??...."
"Yes quiet now, enjoy your present, Rainbow Dash is fine."
"Oh thank you Fluttershy. Hey gals its alright it was just a prank." said Pinkie as she ran back to them. They started to believe Pinkie but as she came closer Twilight saw Fluttershy give that wicked smile again and pulled out something unknown to her and pressed a button. A huge explosion suddenly erupted.
Twilight was regaining consciousness as Applejack was trying to pull her up.
"C'mon Twilight, we got to go." Twilight saw fire blazing through the forest and Rarity already running ahead of them.
"What happened to Pinkie??"
"You don't want to know..." said Applejack looking at her sorrowfully.
"Where's Pinkie??" Twilight asked. She shook off Applejack and ran to where she last remembered Pinkie being only to find scattered remains and blood trails of Pinkie.
"No, not Pinkie." Twilight said, as she began crying.
"Time to go to bed."
Twilight turned around to see Fluttershy behind her and bringing down her chainsaw. Suddenly Applejack kicked the chainsaw from her hands breaking it as it smashed into a tree. Fluttershy tried to fight her but AppleJack sent her through the trees with an powerful kick. "Come on Twilight, let’s go before you get us all killed!"
Twilight nodded and AJ ran off. "Goodbye Pinkie.." Twilight said crying and then followed Applejack.
Princess Celestia worried when Twilight didn't respond to her letter warning about Fluttershy, and now she was in panic finding out Spike wasn't with her and she and the others hadn't been seen all night. Fluttershy's psychotic mood is like when Pinkie Pie gets depressed and turns Pinkamina, but its on a higher scale, a killing rampage scale. Fluttershy therefore lives in the woods where nobody ventures most of the time when it kicks in. Celestia only hoped she wasn't too late.
Amongst the mass of splintered trees Angel Bunny found Fluttershy rising from her fall, a little shaken but otherwise fine.
"Come my animal friends, it’s time to put my friends to sleep."
"Three of us left, and still nowhere close to being out of this stupid forest!" said Twilight as the three friends tried to find their way to safety.
"My buck should keep Fluttershy down for a good while, Twilight." said Applejack.
"From what we've seen I doubt it".
Suddenly the ground started to shake and then they heard the growling of animals.
"It's a stampede!!!" Yelled Applejack. "Run!!!!"
Just as she said that, Fluttershy came with a stampede of bears racing down on them. Already tired out, Twilight, Applejack, and Rarity were easily caught up on. The bears were so close, that their claws tore shards of hair oof their tails.
"We've got to do something to slow them down!" said Twilight. Rarity looked over at Applejack.
"What?"
Rarity just stared.
"Don't you do it."
Tears started to form in Rarity's eyes.
"Don't do it!!"
I’m sorry,” Rarity said and tripped up Applejack. She fell and was quickly engulfed by the stampede who didn't stop.
"What did you do..."
"I’m sorry."
“What did you DO!!!”
Twilight couldn't believe what happened and suddenly lost her nerve.
"ENOUGH!!!" She activated her magic powers and sent a power wave that surged the surrounding area in a blinding light. Once again Twilight's vision faded to black.
Twilight regained consciousness. Was it over.. was she dead?? Rarity laid across from her regaining her consciousness as well. A few yards by them lay Fluttershy apparently dead and her animal friends nowhere to be found (probably disintegrated.) They walked over to see their friend. She looked peaceful lying there, like the Fluttershy they knew.
"Is she...?"
"Looks that way," said Twilight
."Why did this happen, Twilight?"
"I don't know..." Twilight turned and walked away seeing a clear path to Ponyville from the destruction. A loud shriek erupted from behind and Twilight turned around to see Rarity in a chokehold by Fluttershy who was horrifically more injured than all of them as bone could be seen on certain parts on her body.
"Hush now, its time to go to sleep."
Fluttershy jerked Rarity's head violently and her spine snapped and Rarity crumbled like a rag doll. Before Twilight could scream she was taken down by Angel bunny and other critters that survived. She struggled and fought but it was no use as Fluttershy limped her way toward her. "Hush now it's okay, I’m here now."
"Fluttershy stop, please stop."
Fluttershy just smiled big eyed, grabbed Twilight's leg and broke it cleanly between the kneecap. Twilight screamed but was knocked out as Fluttershy stomped her head.
Deep underground in her secret basement Fluttershy held all her friends down there preparing to do whatever her insanity pleased. Twilight awoke again and struggled against her chains. She looked in horror at her friends laid out before her but was surprised to find Applejack alive but seriously injured, chained across from her.
"It's okay Twilight, I’m here now. Everything is going to be alright."
Twilight could only look as she prepared for the worst. This tragic night could not be seen outside as the beautiful night showed a calm and happy sight to the ponies of Ponyville. Deep in the woods however a horrific scream sounded out alerting those who were close by to hear but then nothing. The night returned to calmness.
