It was always an old mare's tale. Wishing upon the stars would grant a pony's wish, no matter how large or small. When Butterscotch moves to Mellow Grove, all she wanted was to make new friends. After a rough start at her new school, it was only natural for her to wish for a new friend. When her wish was granted, though, it may have been more than she bargained for.

And now, unbeknownst to her, the balance of Equestria may rest on her new friendship: between a young, earth pony filly and a fallen alicorn.
