The Exie Factor

I had only been in Ponyville for 24 hours and my new boss and room mate was already hitting on me. I had matte black fur with a deep blue mane and crimson eyes, the same color as her mane, her fur was a light peachy color and those thigh high black boots she wore on he back legs to die for. Wait wait wait was I just fantasizing about her? The mare known as Exie, well I mean which stallion wouldn’t fantasize about her or mare for that matter. I bet she was the envy of this town; I think the only mare that could match her for looks was... no wait, nevermind. The way she swung her flank at me, well she definitely knew how to turn somepony on.

“Another cider thanks mate.” I said as I finished my first bottle of Sweet Apple Acres cider off, so far my day had consisted of teleporting across universes through space and time, been turned into a pony and given a basic rundown of pony society and been hit on by my boss and roommate, yep all in all a good day considering what earth was like for me. Before I left the library I was given a large sack of bits to support myself before I could find work and told to either speak to Rarity or Exie about clothes. I knew for a fact Rarity’s would be high class clothing so I settled on finding Exie to see if she had something casual I could wear.

After leaving Sew Fine I found myself in the local bar having a few drinks of the cider that the Apple Family made every season. Now I know why Rainbow Dash was so excited about getting some cider, I mean it was delicious, even more so than the sweetest cider back on earth. Sighing I looked up at the clock and finished my second drink deciding that it was time to head back to Sew Fine to find out where my new home was going to be for the time been.

“Hey you’re back, I thought you had run off for good after you got the jacket.” Exie said as I entered Sew Fine for the second time that day.

“Yeah, well since I am going to be your roommate for a while I thought I should come back to at least find out where I am going to be staying.” I said as Exie put something away and trotted towards me.

“I can understand that, but in the meantime I need you to fill out this form and sign it as it is for insurance purposes for you working here.” Exie said as she handed me a clipboard with some paper on it and a pen.

I started filling in the form and noticed her staring at my cutie mark but then I understood why when I looked at it.

“It’s called a RAM card, they are used in special devices called computers, back on earth I used to fix and build them. I guess I know what my special talent is.” I said to Exie who was now looking at me with a very confused face.

“What’s earth and a computer?” she asked after I gave her an explanation of my cutie mark and I facehoofed.

“Sorry, I’ll try to explain it slowly. Earth is a planet much like Equestria is and computers were a communications and knowledge electronic device used by almost everyone. They needed one of those cards to work.” I said to which she just said okay and shook her head.

“Don’t worry Exie, I will show you what I mean when I build one.” I said just to ease her confusion.

“Oh okay just please try to keep it simple for me please.” She smiled and took the clipboard back.
“Well I think that is all for now, anyway it is time to close up the shop and head home” Exie added on and smiled at me. Why did I get the feeling this was going to be a rough night?

The walk to Exies house was a pretty short one, just to the local riverside apartments, when she opened the front door I stopped in my tracks and my jaw just dropped at what I saw.
