Engineering Applesby Bilbo DingoChaptersArrival and shelterJack's first Apple family breakfastWorking on the fieldPlowing the fieldsArrival and shelterIn Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and the Mane six were all having some lunch, but Celestia brought a book for some reason, the others had no idea why exactly, the book was kept off topic until Twilight asked. "Celestia, what's that book here for?" "Well, I have a little idea." Celestia said as she giggled, the others put on confused faces. "Um, what is it?" Dash asked. "We'll, this book contains a transdimensional portal spell." Celestia said, Twilight's jaw dropped. "Really!?" Twilight asked, excited to learn new stuff about other dimensions. "Yep, now I know you Twilight. You want to ask a bunch a questions about the world right?" Celestia said, Twilight nodded quickly, the others just rolled there eyes and smiled. "Well, this speed takes a lot of message so it'll take one hour to use it again. So I'll bring someone from that world, I'll let you interview them and then I'll send them back to there world." Celestia said, Twilight was practically hopping in excitement. "Alright now-oh." Celestia said as she opened the book but looked in disgust at what she saw. "What is it sister?" Luna asked, Celestia showed her, then Luna put on her own face of disgust. "What is it?" Twilight asked, Celestia then showed the book to the mane six, it had a picture of a weird bipedal creature, with some fur on his head and various other parts of the body, and there were also two different pictures, the one on the right seemed to have a thinner figure then the left one. "What in Tarnation are those?" Applejack asked. "These are humans." Celestia started. "They are mythological creatures who are truly horrible." Luna said. "They eat meat, they show no kindness, they don't care about anyone else but themselves." Celestia listed, the humans sounded more horrible to the girls as Celestia went on. "Yes, they are a horrible uncivilised kind, they probably wouldn't survive 100 years!" Luna said. She'd be surprised. The mane six thought of these creatures as horrible things they never want to be near, especially Applejack, she would never imagine a human to help her at all, or even on the farm. I mean, that will never happen...right? Meanwhile, on earth I was currently working on a new project when my phone ran, I quickly pulled It out and answered. "Hello?" "Hey Jack." "Oh hey Brian." "So what's up?" "I'm working in the AC Revelations parachute, why?" I asked "Really? you already made the hookblade, why do you ned to make this?" "Just in case I'm chase to the top of a building and I have to jump off." I replied. "Really? Well let me list the things you have already made for no reason, the engineers wrench." "I might need to repair something." "The sonic screwdriver." "That's an actual screwdriver." "You don't eve watch Docter Who, how do you know what it's called?" "Internet." "And also the last thing, some grabbing gun?" "Hey, it works!" I replied back. "Whatever man, catch ya later." And with that, Brian hanged up, I put my phone away and concentrated on my parachute. Anyway, my names Jack, and I'm a bit of a pioneer, that's why I try to make replicas of stuff from shows or games to possibly help me out in life, I never make stuff to kill though. Now, my friend Brian might think I'm weird, even through he watches ponies on tv, but I don't judge. Anyway, I am just about finished, and...done! Now I had just finished the parachute, all I had to do was set it up in my lucky bag with all my replicas in it, although I wear the hookblade just in case. Soon the parachute was ready, now all there is to do is test it. But unfortunately, before I walked outside, some sparks started to flicker right in front of me, and last time I checked, sparks don't randomly appear without wires or some other reason. But soon the sparks started to happen more frequently, and soon a twirling whirlpool opened in front of me, and it started to drag me in. I tried to run away but it was no use, soon I was pulled through the whirlpool, and headed down a weird tunnel until I hit the floor. "Urgh, Fuck, my face." I soon got on my knees and rubbed my face, my eyes opened, and what I saw was weird. About eight multi coloured ponies, two were taller then the rest and had horns and wings, but during the other six, two had horns, two others just wings, and two none at all. "Um...hi?" I asked sheepishly. The tall white one soon fired a beam from there horn, I quickly rolled to my right and dodged the beam before standing up in a defensive position. "Nice to meet you too." I said, she just fired a beam again and I jumped away again. It went on like this for a while, soon the other three with horns started to fire beams, the two with wings dive bombed at me, and the pink one tried to blast me with a canon, and the orange one tried to tie me up with a lasso. "Can't we discuss this like civilised people?" I asked, I was replied with beams, but then I noticed one of the beams break a window revealing some clouds and a clean exit for me...if the parachute works. I began to run for it, but the ponies had noticed and had fired beams at me while I was running, I slide and jumped to Dodge, then I had to duck as the dove bombing ponies tried to hit me. Is was nearly at the edge of the exit, that's when a lasso rope landed in front of me, I quickly jumped over it before I then jumped through the window. Please work. I then heard a flap and I was no longer descending quickly, instead I was holding onto my parachute and heading for the clouds. But I soon looked back to see the ponies being carrying by four flying ponies with gold armour, I panicked, how much would clouds protect me from a flying carriage? Very actually, since when I went through the clouds, I think I heard a small crashing sound, I was safe...until I stop flying through clouds, then I'm probably gonna die. I waited and waited, until eventually there weren't anymore clouds, and instead of some wired castle mountain, it seemed to be an Apple farm, the barn was the best place to land because If those ponies had managed to follow me, I would really have to run. I soon touched the roof and dropped my parachute, I sighed and sat down, I just wanted a lie down since I had done a lot of running.then I heard a voice. "Anypony up there?" Anypony? Really? well I looked onto the ground to see two ponies, one was red with a yellow mane, the other was yellow with a red mane and a bow, although the yellow one seemed to be smaller then the red one. "What in the hay?" The yellow pony said. "Hi." I simply said and waved down to them. "Who are you?" "Jack, and could you get a ladder or something?" I asked, he red one went into the shed and then came out carrying a ridiculous sized ladder, the pony seemed to lean left and right from the weight, until it was able to get it off its neck and lean it against the wall up to the roof of the barn. "Thanks!" I yelled as I started to climb down, i soon felt solid ground and turned around to face the ponies. "What are ya?" The yellow one asked, it seemed to be exited with curiosity. "First, my name's Jack, second, I'm a human." I said. "Nice ta met ya, ah'm Applebloom and that there's Big Macintosh, but we just call him Big Mac." The little filly said, I guess it was a filly from the voice. "Eeyup." The red pony said, probably a stallion from that deep of a voice. "So where are ya from?" Applebloom asked. "Somewhere very far away I think." I said looking at the sky. "Oh, like Manehatten or San Flanksisco?" Applebloom asked again. "Nah, I think about...a couple of worlds away." I replied. "From another world? Are ya an alien?" Applebloom asked again, man she was full of questions today. "I guess you could say that, but I come in peace." I said making the peace sign with my hands, she just tilted her head with a confused look. "What are ya doing with your..." She said trailing off. "These are hands, and this means peace back where I'm from." I said. "Ya need a place ta stay?" She asked. "I don't want to be a bother." "Don't worry, ah'll just ask Granny Smith, ah'm sure she'll let ya stay. Right Big Mac?" "Eeyup." Mac said "Alright." I said as I followed Applebloom to the farmhouse, on the Padilla was an old green pony with grey mane, who was apparently snoring. "Granny! Wake up!" Applebloom yelled, soon the pony woke up and looked at me. "Why hi there." The old mare said. "Hello ma'am." I said. "Oh, a gentlecolt, so what can ah do for ya sonny?" "Well-" "He was wonderin' if he could stay here, until he could get back to his own world." Applebloom asked. "If it's not to much of a bother." I said. "Nonsense, ya can stay in the guest room." She said, I nodded. "Thank you. I'll try to make up for my space here." I said. "Well, ya could help with our Cider maker, it's been having some problems with it. It seems that the conveyers broken or something." Granny Smith said. "Sure, I'll see what I can do." I said walking out of the farmhouse. Applebloom quickly ran in front of me. "Follow me!" She said as she ran in front of me, that took me off guard and I had to quickly ran up just to see where she was heading. She soon stopped in front of some machine where there was a conveyer and some box with a tap and an enterance, probably for putting the apples in, I then looked at the conveyer, it seemed some gears wear out of place and not tight enough. "So can ya fix it?" "Yeah, I think I can fix it." I said. "Oh shoot- ah forgot the tools!" Applebloom said as she faceplanted-hoofed? no idea. "Don't worry, I got it covered." I said as I pulled out my wrench, Applebloom said 'oh'. "Where'd ya get that?" She asked. "I made it." I said as I started to tightened a gear back up. "Really? How?" She asked. "Tools, materials, imagination." I said as i finished tightening the gear and started on the next one. "How did ya make it?" She asked. "Well I simply just out it in my mind, picture it in realm life and try to make it out of what a can." I said as I started to get some of the gears into there proper position. "How long ago did ya make it?" She asked again. "About four months ago." I said as the gear was back in place and I started to tighten it. "Why did ya make it?" She asked. "So little fillies could ask me tons of questions." I said sarcastically as Applebloom giggled a little as I had to set another gear back into place. "We'll it works!" She said as she and I laughed, I then tightened the gear, fixed the last one into place and tightened it back up. "Try it." I said to Applebloom as she jumped on it, she began to run and the conveyer moved smoothly. "It works! Ya fixed it!" She said as she jumped off. "No worries." I said, I then noticed the sun starting to come down. "We better get goin' " I said, Applebloom nodded and then raced off, causing me to run after her again. Soon we where at the farmhouse, I was panting though, but Applebloom was just acting like she didn't run 100 K's an hour. Once I caught my breath we headed inside where Big Mac and Granny Smith where sitting at a table with some apple fritters on plates, I noticed there were four plates there. Applebloom sat down next to Big Mac. "I fixed the machine." I said. "Really? thank ya kindly, now Come on, sit down." Granny Smith said as she motioned for me to sit down. "Ya didn't have ta make me dinner." I said as I sat down. "Nonsense, ya helped us, so were just returning the favour." Granny Smith said. "Yeah, but you've already given me shelter, you didn't have to do this for me." I said again. "Oh quit yappin and start eatin!" Granny Smith said as she and the others dug into there food. I guess I shouldn't argue, I picked one up and took a bit out of it. Moments later I'm stuffing my face with them. Soon dinner was finished, and I offered to do the dishes but Granny Smith said its time for me to sleep, I knew there was no point in arguing so I just went upstairs, Applebloom followed and headed in front of me until she stopped at a door. "Here's ya room, right next to Applejack's!" She said. "Applewho?" I asked. "Man big sister, she's away today but ya'll meet her tomorrow." She said. "Alright." I said entering the room, it was a simple bed and bed side table. "Goodnight!" Applebloom said before she closed the door, I went and put my bag in the corner of the room and got under the covers of the bed, I then noticed I was looking at the moon, it looked beautiful tonight, but soon my eyes got droopy and I soon welcomed sleeps embrace. I soon woke up with the sun in my eyes, I quickly turned away from it but ended up falling out of bed, I rubbed my face as I had hit it twice in two days, I soon got up, grabbed my bag and began to walk in the hallway. "I wonder what Applejack looks like?" I though out loud. But soon I was tackled from behind and ended up on my back, I then looked into the angry face of one of the ponies that tried to get him when he first arrived, mainly the one with the steston hat and the lasso. "Oh...that's what you look like." Jack's first Apple family breakfast"Applejack! What in the hay are ya doin' " I saw Applebloom standing in the hallway, between the stairs and me, with Applejack who was pinning me down. "Don't worry Applebloom, ah'll get this filthy human off the farm in no time." Applejack said with a smile. "What do ya mean filthy? Jack ain't bad." Applebloom replied back. "Applebloom, ah think ah know who or what's bad." "Well jack sure ain't." "Applebloom, he's a dangerous critter that could harm you. So ah'm getting the guards." "Why!? Jack hasn't done anything bad!" "He's a human! He's an evil critter!" "Your acting like back with the Zecora incident!" "This is Different!" "How?" I looked down the hallway to see Granny Smith come out of her room, she looked at me as I mouthed to her 'help'. She gave a nod and spoke up. "Applejack, get off of Jack." I saw Applejack's jaw drop as she looked at Granny Smith. "But-but-" "No buts! we'll talk about this over breakfast." Granny Smith said. I saw Applejack trying to make up reasons but she just lowered her head and closed her eyes. "Fine." She said. She got off me as she cursed under her breath. I stood up and mouthed 'thank you' to Granny Smith. Who smiled and nodded at me. As Applebloom, Applejack, Granny Smith and myself walked down the stairs. And entered the dining room, I noticed Big Mac was already there. Reading what seemed to be a newspaper of some sort. He noticed us come down the stairs and outs the newspaper down. "Mornin' " he said to us. We all gave our different reply's. "Ah'll make some pancakes. Why don't y'all take a seat." Granny Smith said as she walked into the kitchen. As we took our different seats, I noticed Applejack sit opposite of me and Applebloom next to her. While I sat next to Big Mac. Applejack also stared at me, all while giving me an angry glare. It was really uncomfortable for me. But that was cured when Granny Smith came back, holding a couple of stacks of pancakes. Although it seemed that they had pieces of apple in them. She passed them over to Applebloom and Applejack. The first being excited and began to devour them, and the later who slowly ate them while still looking at me. It was creepy. "Eat up!" Granny Smith said as she walked back into the kitchen, she soon returned with two more stacks and slide them over to me and Big Mac "Thanks." I said to her as she walked back into the kitchen. I grabbed one and took a bite...lets just say that pancake was gone in ten seconds. It was so damn delicious! Granny Smith then came back with one last stack and sat down. "Now, ah'm like ta know why'd ya pounced on Jack here like a Timberwolf." Granny Smith said looking at Applejack, who broke out of her staring at me trance and answered. "Because, when ah went to see Princess Celestia. As showed us in a book and explained to us what humans were and what they did." She said, looking back at me with a stare showing that if looks could kill. I'd already e turned into dust. "They are unkind, cruel, vicious, dishonest. And They eat meat! They could eat us!" She explained. "Okay, first. You don't know me, or what I'm like, you only read it out of a book. Second, that is the last thing I would ever have on my mind! I am never doing that! And besides it's not my fault that you and those others attacked me when I had done nothing." I finished, Applebloom then spoke up. "Wait, ya two have already met?" She asked. "When I first arrived here. Applejack, and a bunch of other ponies, some with horns, other with wings, two with both! All attacked me as I got up, and I had done nothing. I soon jumped out the window and pulled out my parachute. After that, I jumped glided through and ended up on the barn roof." I said, finishing my story, and another pancake afterwards. I saw Granny Smith start to think, and Applejack still giving me a death look. Even after I had explained myself. Granny Smith then spoke up. "Alright, Ah have the idea...since it seems Jack here needs some shelter for now. With the poor dear being chased like a rabbit by a fox. he'll stay and work here on the farm." This caused Applejack to spit out her pancake she was eating...all over me. She coughed a but and hit her chest. "But Granny, he's evil! Celestia said so! Ah'll even get the guards, we won't have to do anything!" Granny just sighed and out a hoof in her shoulder. "Applejack, ah know ya have a good heart. But Jack here needs help, and as Apples, we gotta help him, no matter what Celestia or some book has told ya. Jack has been a very good so far, so ah see no reason ta just kick him out and let the guards get him." Granny Smith finished as I had wiped most of Applejack's regurgitated Pancake off of my face. Applejack then quickly answered. "But-" "Applejack. Promise me ya won't tell the guards about Jack being here." "And us!" Applebloom said, chewing on a pancake. "Eeyup." Big Mac said. I saw Applejack look at her plate thinking and thinking. Until she sighed and spoke. "Okay, ah won't tell anypony." She said. "Anypony?..eh, not my world." I thought to myself. "Pinkie promise?" Applebloom asked. "Cross mah heart, hope ta fly, stick a cupcake in mah eye." She said dong what you would with a normal pinkie promise. "Yay! Jack can stay!" Applebloom said, just before she finished her last pancake, so did Applejack. Who then grabbed her plate and walked into the kitchen. Once she was out of sight, I quickly threw my last pancake onto her plate. She smiled and then hungrily devoured the last one. I then stood up and placed my plate in the sink. Right as I turn around, Applejack is standing there with a glare. "Ah may not tell the guards ya here, but ah still don't trust ya. Human." She said to me. Right before she walked out. "Well she seems nice." I thought to myself sarcastically. Just then Granny Smith came in. "Alright, Jack. If you could be a dear, could ya help out Applejack in the fields today? Big Mac needs to use plow and Applebloom is taking care of the animals." Granny Smith said as she came in with the rest of the plates. "Ok, working with a mare who wants me ether dead, prisoned or gone. Don't say yes." Is what my brain was saying. "Ok, sure." I told her with a smile. "Well, your dead." My brain said again. After that, I walked outside to see Applejack towing a cart full of baskets through the apples. I quickly ran and walked up beside the cart and walked along with her. She seemed to notice me and just kept on walking. We soon stopped as she unhitched the cart to her and grabbed a basket with her teeth. "Grab 'em and start putting them under the tree's." she said to me as she chucked it to the base of a tree, I grabbed two and placed them under one. "How many trees do we have to do this for?" I asked. "From these two tree's here, right until about 50 trees that way." She said pointing down a stretch of land and tree's. my jaw dropped, I think I actually heard a small giggle from Applejack. I looked at her and sure enough she had a little smile. She noticed me looking at her and immediately stopped and looked away. "Was that a smile I just saw?" I asked. "N-no, ah didn't smile. Nope. Not at all." She said, I might not be looking at her face. But I know she's lying. "Whatever you say Applejack." I said. "Oh wait, how many baskets per tree?" I asked. "Four." "What if we runout of baskets?" "We'll go back and get some more." "Where exactly are we again?" "North field." "How far from the barn?" " 'bout a mile or two." "Did I actually make you giggle" "Ye-hey!" She said to me, causing me to crack a smile. "Just get on with ya work." She said to me. We stayed silent for a while as we had put down about 40 baskets, we had to got back and get more, then walk back again. Once we started again, I asked her a question. "Why do you not like me?" I asked her as I had put more baskets down. "Cause your a filthy human." She said, putting more baskets down herself. "Why are you judging me on a book?" I asked her. As I had put more baskets down "Well-" "Don't give me that 'princess Celestia' crap. Just because she talked about a few, doesn't mean we're all the same." I said, getting a bit frustrated. She didn't seem to answer for a moment as we simply put down baskets. I then look at her, as she's gives me a look of confusion and frustration. "Look, ya just randomly appeared on my farm. And ah have no idea what or who ya are exactly. Ah'm just looking out for my town that's all." She said. "Yeah, I can understand. But hopefully, for you and me. We'll get to know each other better." I said to her, she then gave me a mutual face. "Alright, but ah still don't trust ya! So just watch ya back" She said. I gave her a nod and got back to work. This is going to be a long tiring day. Working on the fieldMe and Applejack had just placed about...hmm, four times fifty...two hundred! that's it. Two hundred baskets around the tree's. and we also had two carts with us. "Alright. Now this is what ya gonna do. Ya chuck the baskets here onto one of them carts. And once ya feel its got enough, ya take it back to tha barn and grab another cart and come back here. Unless ya can get these apples down." She said with a challenging tone. "Yeah, I could have a crack at it." I said as I walked up to a tree, I gathered my strength and did a roundhouse kick. I hit the bark hard enough that the apples all fell down. I was impressed, I looked back at Applejack whose jaw had been dropped. "Impressed?" I asked, she shook her head and just gave me a glare. "Fine, ya can help Applebuck." She said as she got on her fore hooves and hit a tree with her hind hooves. This made all the apples fall into the baskets. Now my jaw dropped, making Applejack put on her own smug grin. "Impressed?" She asked, I chuckled and picked up the baskets. "Well played." I said as I them into the cart. Applejack did the same. We continued to 'Applebuck', and every time the cart was filled, we took turns of who would take the cart back and get a new one. Although throughout the time. Applejack would give me the same unwelcoming glare, like she was telepathically talking to me. 'Ya better watch out, human.' Soon we had cleared up almost every tree, I think we had taken about four carts back, this being our last. I also noticed that the sun was about to set. But as I threw a basket into the cart, I saw a rainbow blur headed straight for Sweet Apple Acres. "Where did I see that before." I said to myself. "When those ponies attacked you." My brain said. "Oh yeah...I better hide." I said as I walked into a convenient bush that happened to be next to a tree. "What in the hay are ya-" I heard Applejack say right before she cut herself off. She must of seen the blur to. I hide In the bush as I heard the conversation between Applejack and whatever the blur was. "Hey Applejack" I heard the blur say. "Howdy Rainbow, what are ya doing here." Rainbow? That...actually makes sense. "Eh, i was just practising my awesome moves and decided to come and see how you were going." "Nothin' much. Just another day at work." Applejack said. "Yeah. Be the way, Have you heard that search party's are going after that human?" Oh. My. God. Why is the Princess Celestia so desperate to get me!? "Uh, nope." "I hope they get him. If I ever get my hooves on him I swear..." I heard what sound like cracking knuckles. But how can pony's do that? They only have hooves. Oh wait. Different world. "Ha ha. Yeah." "By the way. Tomorrow night me and the girls are going out for drinks. Wanna come?" "Sure." "Well, I gotta go. Later." The Pony called Rainbow said as I heard a flapping that slowly decreased in sound. I looked up to see only Applejack and a Rainbow blur in a distance. "Who was that?" I asked. "That was Rainbow Dash. She's a bit full of herself but she's pretty loyal." "And determined to kill me." I said. I saw Applejack lower her head a bit before shaking it and giving me a glare. "Come on. These baskets won't haul themselves." She said, I just sighed and started to chuck the last few baskets into the cart. Since it was my turn to push the cart, I got ready to go as Applejack chucked the last few baskets on. "Can we go now?" I asked. "Wait a minute." I heard her say, I then felt some extra wait on the cart. I went around to see Applejack in the middle on the baskets. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Gettin' a ride. Now mush human!" She said as she pulled her hat down and laid back. I sighed and started to pull the cart back to the barn. The sun had started to fall behind the barn as I pulled the last cart into place. As I let go of it, I walked out towards the farmhouse. As I entered I sat myself down on the couch as Applejack followed and walked upstairs. As I took my breath, Granny Smith popped out of the kitchen. "Hey there Jack." She said to me. "Hey Granny Smith." I said. "So, how many did ya get?" She asked. "Fifty trees, or about five carts worth of apples." I said. "Boy howdy, that was a lot for today." She said. "How much do you averagely get?" I asked. "In about a week. Ah'd say two hundred trees. At least three hundred." She said. Man that is a lot. "So does Applejack have to work everyday?" I asked. "Nope. She can have about two days off. She usually goes off on weekends." "Ah, okay." I said, just then Granny Smith went back into the kitchen and came out with a little brown bag. "What's that?" I asked. "Ya payment sonny." She said. "I can't take this ma'am. You've given me a shelter, food and water. I don't need to be paid." I said. "Are ya sure?" She asked. "Yes." I said, she shrugged and placed the bag on a nearby table. She then walked up to me. "Ya tired?" "Yeah. Very." I said. "Well don't ya worry. Dinner will be ready soon." She said as she walked back into the kitchen. I waited a while until Big Mac came through the door. "Hey Big Mac." I said. "Howdy." He said as he walked upstairs. I waited a bit more until Applebloom came in covered in mud. "What happened to you?" I said as I got up and walked over to her. "It's very hard ta get pigs ta stay still when ya cleaning them." She said. "Looks like ya need a bath little filly." Granny Smith said coming out. She looked at me. "Can ya clean her up Jack before dinner?" She asked. "Sure, where's the bath?" I asked. "Upstairs, first door on the left." She said right before leaving. I picked up the little filly and walked upstairs. I entered the room to find a bath, a shower, a sink and mirror. I placed Applebloom down and turned on the tap, letting the water pour into the bath. As I turned it off, and the bath was filled. I grabbed the muddy filly, who had taken her bow off, and put her into the water. The some of the mud seemed to wash off. I grabbed some nearby shampoo. I poured the shampoo into my hand and start to rub it into the fur, mane and tail. I noticed Applebloom giggle a little bit. Anyway, the mud seemed to start to come out. I started to grab some water and splashed it onto Applebloom. Causing her to giggle, and a grin grew on my face. "So ya like that?" I asked, before she could respond, I splashed a huge amount of water on her, causing her to start laughing and rolling around in the water. I let the filly stand up again, it seemed all the mud had been washed off of her. "Alright, out ya get." I said picking her up and placing her on the floor, I pulled out the plug and let the water out. And Applebloom seemed to have grabbed her towel. "Can ya. Um...dry me of?" She asked. "Sure." I said grabbing the town and drying of the little filly. Soon she was all dry. "Thanks Jack." She said as she tied her bow up again. "Soups on!" I heard Granny Smith call from downstairs. We both left the bathroom and walked downstairs. Applejack, Big Mac and Granny Smith where already sitting down with an apple pie on the table and on there plates. Me and Applebloom each took a seat. Granny Smith placed a piece of pie on our plates before sitting back down. As we ate, the whole time Applejack gave me the same stare she had been giving me the entire day, so I didn't really pay attention to it. But anyway, once we had finished the pie, which was delicious. I decided it was time to go to sleep. So I said goodnight as I walked up to my room, put my bag down and got into my bed. I closed my eyes looking at the moon, although I swear, I thought something was looking at me. Question is, what was it? Plowing the fieldsI woke up with a banging at my door, causing me to fall out of bed. I shook my head as I got up and answered the door. Applejack was standing there. "Time ta Wake up." She said to me. "Alright, but first I'm going to have a shower. Do you have any spare towels?" I asked her. "Wait here." She said as she walked down the stairs. I just leaned on my door frame. I started to think about last night. How I Swear something was looking at me right before I fell asleep. What was it? Better question, Who was it? And why where they staring at me?Then again i am from an entirely different world. Where they a spy for Celestia? Where they scientists trying to find out what he was? I couldn't think further as a towel was thrown at my head. I pulled it off to see Applejack there. "Hurry up. Ya got a lot of work ahead for ya." She said as she walked downstairs. I then walked into the bathroom, with my bag, and locked the door. I had my shower before walking out and drying myself off. I was able get myself dressed before pulling out a smaller bag from my bag and zipped it open. I pulled out some toothpaste, my toothbrush, some deodorant and some hair gel. Now your wondering why I somehow got these things out of my bag. Well I always carrying some supplies in my bag incase I have to stay at a friends place or something else happens. Although I might be running low, I'll ask Granny Smith if she, or Big Mac, or Applebloom, and possibly Applejack. Could get me some more. Anyway, once I was done, I put everything away, hung the towel up and headed downstairs. As I arrived at the first floor. I saw Granny Smith sitting down in a rocking chair. She noticed me and smiled. "Good morning Jack." She said to me. "Morning Granny Smith." I said. "Once ya make yerself some breakfast. Grab the plow from the barn. Big Mac and Applebloom are in charge of the Apple stand in the markets, and Applejack is Applebucking again. Se we need ya to plow some fields for tha new Apple tree's." she said to me. I nodded as I made my way to the kitchen. So I gotta plow some fields, how hard could it be?...and I just jinxed myself. Great. Anyway, I had my breakfast and headed towards the barn where I found the plow. I started to drag it, but then I released something, I had no idea where I was supposed to plow. I stopped dragging it, walked back inside and up to Granny Smith who just closed her eyes as I got there. "Um, Hey. Where am I supposed to go?" I asked, she squinted her eyes and looked at me. "East Field, 'bout ten coloums." She said. "Thank you, sorry for waking you up." I said. "No harm done sonny. Now get back ta work!" She said as she closed her eyes and snored. I smiled, picked the plow up, and headed East. Which I think took me about forty-five minutes, because let me tell you. Not only is the field Granny Smith wants me to do is about half an hour away. But the plow is bloody heavy! I don't know how These ponies does it. Then again, they've done this longer then me. Alright, anyway. I made it to the field, where there where about ten columns of dirt, just waiting to be plowed. To it's left is a fully plowed field, which I assume is field with apple seeds. Further left is some little sprouts. I carefully placed the plow into the first column, placed my bag onto the ground, and got ready to pull. As I started, I noticed something right away. This was going to be very long, I could barely move it a metre without draining every ounce of energy from me. But non the less, I pushed on. But despite me being able to at least move the plow, the sun, or possibly someone else. Again, no idea of this world's full rules. Had decided to turn the temperature up to boiling hot. Because by the time I had finished the first column, which was probably half a kilometre far. My fore head was covered in sweat, I felt some beads fall down my face. I sighed and stretched my back. "This...this will take a while." I said to myself. I picked the plow up and placed it in the next column. As I made it back, I noticed my bag was gone. I finished the column before letting go and walking to some bushes that where rustling. Probably where my bag is and the per-pony that took it. I walked over to the bush to see nobody there. I searched the area for a while until I heard a twig snap. I looked behind me to see my bag back on the ground, I looked around curious as to who had taken and given it back. I ran Down to my bag to see if anything was stolen, but surprisingly, everything seemed to be still in there. I looked around on least time to see if anybody- or pony was around. Nothing, except the winds breeze, nothing fills the air with sound. I shrugged, decided to get a bottle of water back at the farmhouse to help my thirst. As I walked in, I walked upstairs and placed my bag and shirt into my room. Grabbed the towel I uses this morning, walked downstairs and found a bottle of water, along with several others in the fridge. I don't think they'll mind one missing. I grabbed it and headed back out to the field. By sundown, I had finally finished prowling the fields. I let the plow go as I grabbed my bottle and my towel and sat down under a tree's shade. I wiped the sweat from my face with the towel, I then took a huge gulp from my bottle, finishing the rest of the water in it. I put my towel over my shoulder as I walked over and picked up the plow and headed back. By the time I had put the plow away and dried myself off. It was night fall, the cool breeze coming into play. I smiled as I walked over to the house and walked inside. I headed some noise some from upstairs and in the kitchen. I walked upstairs and went into my room. I put my bag on the floor. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to see Granny Smith in there, she noticed me and gave me a smile. "Howdy Jack. Ya finish the fields?" She asked. "Yep, there done. Hey Granny Smith. Are you the only one who cooks the meals around here. Not to offend anyone but I'm just curious." I asked. "Nah, it's alright sonny. We take turns in making dinner. Ah just cooked two nights in a row since Applejack was away when it was her turn. Ah can't work on tha farm aswell thanks ta mah hip." She said rubbing it. "Sorry for that." I said. "Not to worry. Now, how about ya help me with the meal tonight." "Sure." I said as I started to help her. A few minutes passed before I went to wash my hands because of some spillage when I saw Big Mac, Applebloom and Applejack at the door. I hid and eavesdropped on there conversation. "Now be back by midnight okay?" Big Mac said. "Don't worry Big Mac. Me and tha girls are just going out for a few drinks." She replied. "Bye sis!" Applebloom said as she waved Applejack off who walked out of the door. I then revealed myself. "Sorry for eavesdropping. I was just a bit to curious." I said. "It's okay, right Big Mac?" Applebloom asked her older brother. "Eeyup." He said. After that, i went back to my main task of washing my hands and finishing dinner. Later, I was back in bed, with the feeling of being watched again entered me. I then slowly closed my eyes. _____________________________________________________________ I awoke to some sort of crashing sound. I woke up and saw a stumbling Applejack and a slightly damaged fence. I quietly walked outside and ran up to Applejack, who had finally notice me. "H-howdy there Jack! Hic!" She said in a slurred tone. "Applejack. Are you drunk?" I asked. "Maybe, maybe not? But why is everything blurry?" She asked as she stumbled more. I sighed and picked her up. "Come on, lets get you to bed." "Ya cute." We said, causing me to blush. "And your drunk." I said as I entered the house and into Applejack's room. I placed the hiccuping Applejack on the bed, well I tried. She wouldn't let go. "Come on Applejack, time for bed." "But ah'm not tired!" She said, right before falling asleep in my arms. I placed her on the bed and tried to get her off me. But she was holding me tightly against her, like a giant teddy bear or something. I was able to get her off of me after a while with some hard effort, I was about to walk out when I heard her whimpering. I looked to see her with a worried expression on her sleeping face and trying to grab something with her forehooves. I sighed. I hate myself. I closed the door and got into the bed. The second Applejack's hoof touched me, she pulled me into a death grip, but I managed to survive. I looked up at the ceiling before closing my eyes, the watching feeling happening to me again.
Arrival and shelterIn Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and the Mane six were all having some lunch, but Celestia brought a book for some reason, the others had no idea why exactly, the book was kept off topic until Twilight asked. "Oh...that's what you look like."
Jack's first Apple family breakfast"Applejack!
