Little Crystal
Since my parents had passed I had studied different spells. It was almost my time to fight, it doesn't matter my age anymore. It matters if I can fight or not. Here it's kill or be killed, This is not the life anyone would want or expect. But it doesn't matter. Someone knocked on the door, I quietly walked to the door. I opened it slowly and Zap flew in. I jumped. "Crystal, we gotta move, the dragons are closing in!" He said. "What?!?!" I panicked. I grabbed my bag, full of food,books, and a weapon or two. "Let's go" I said as we flew outside. I looked into the distance and saw fire burning buildings, people covered in blood, and the dragons getting closer. "Come on, Crystal!" I looked at Zap, I saw a tear in his eye. Looking back I saw a pony laying still on a dragon, she was dead. It was Rainbow Dash. My mouth opened, Dash was Zap's mother. Pulling back my head, I pushed Zap forward. "We have to go" I gave him a gentle nudge. He cleared his eyes and nodded. A fireball swept past our heads, and we ran to caught up with the other ponies.

Mixed Emotions
As we got closer to every other pony, the noise of the fire crackling died down. I floated down, getting to tired to fly and ran the rest of the way. I fell to the ground when we reached the camp. Too tired to study,eat, or anything. I just needed to sleep.
I gently sat next to Crystal. She was beautiful even when she was asleep. I gave a smile. "Zap!" A voice called, I turned around. "Oh hey, Felix. What's the.." He cut me off. "You. Me. Talk. NOW" He grabbed my tail and pulled me over to some bushes. When I got up and dusted myself off, I saw two other stallions and a pony before me. The girl with blue skin and a green mane to match her tail. Another with a red mane and tail, along with yellow skin. And the last with  orange skin with a cyan mane. and tail. "Uh... Felix, Sapphire, Applesmith, Henry? What's up with you guys. Little intense..." Sapphire gave me a mean look "You know what this is about!" She snapped "Sapph calm down" Henry said gently. "I really don't" I said, confused. "You and Crystal" Felix looked me straight in the eyes. "What happened to 'Pals before Gals" Applesmith reminded me. "What! No no no. I mean I may... LIKE her but we're only friends" I said. "Well it better stay that way. Remember Quinton?" Sapphire warned. "Who's Quinton?" I asked, worried. "Exactly" She then walked away. "Ok if that's it, I'll be on my way" I then quickly dashed off.
