That was unfair. I… I know you have changed; how could you not? It has been a thousand years, everything is changed. Where there was once a capitol there is a forest. A thousand years; and I was a rock floating through the void all that time. Everything is changed but me.

I am still hurting. All that pain and jealousy and anger were mere moments ago to me even if it was a thousand years for everypony else. I will not return to that nightmare, but I went there for a reason and that reason is still here. I drove you away and I locked you out in my pride. I will not do that again.

It has been a thousand years and I have at least learned this one lesson.
