Wounds fester over time if they are left untended. Healing injuries is far from pleasant and magic can only do so much. I find that ponies say time will heal when they mean that they can do nothing more. A wound may be cleaned and the dead flesh cut away but only time will tell if it is healing or infection that has taken root.

This fevered gash has consumed me once already. Sister says time will heal. I have been given time without measure but that does not mean time is my ally.
