Second thoughts on life

Today I said my life is nothing to no pony and decided to end it but I wanted to ask you for reasons not to, yes I never wanted to do this but I can’t find a reason to go on after what I saw that made me this way. Depressed lonely and the most important one of all not loved friendships some what means nothing to me no more. Please I what to know why I should not do it

Shadow Magic hands the letter to Ditzy Doo she takes off really fast to the castle delivering it to her She reads the letter and is shocked and gives the same assignment to her sister and the mane six.

“Dear Shadow Magic my faithful subject,

Your heart is broken I can feel it from here in the castle Suicide is not the way to get rid of the pain. I seen how you felt that day and I want to find you myself but could not driving yourself into this cross road of life and death is not the way my little pony. You and only you can face this yourself but not the way you want to.

   Shadow finishes the letter and hears a knock on the door he opens it to find six letters on his doorstep he looks for ditzy shrugs since they were addressed to him he looks at who there are from his eyes widen ‘Rarity Fluttershy Pinkie Pie Twilight Sparkle Rainbow Dash Applejack.’ He looks up and sees one from the princess of the night herself also he opens the ones from the mane six starting with Rarity’s letter.

“Dear Shadow magic,

Darling Princess Celestia told us how you were feeling and we all wrote letters to you. The path you’re going down is one everyone goes down almost everyday darling but killing yourself is not the way to face your feeling your shutting them away. I remember the first time you stepped into my shop always smiling now it’s been 7 months since I saw you. A broken heart can be fixed it just takes time for it to happen.

Shadow felt his heart slowly being healed from the letter he opens Fluttershy’s next.

“Dear Shadow Magic,

I um heard what happened and what you want to do and um I wanted to write this to you if you do decide to do it. I um wanted to say that you were loved by all of us we were nothing but friends to you and you’re throwing your life away and feelings to nothing but death. Please don’t do it we all will be heart broken if you died.

Shadow reaches for Pinkies letter opens it and notices it is nothing but pictures of the times he’s partied with them with a note saying ‘Don’t do it.’ Paper clipped to them. Shadow then reaches for Twilights but decides to save it for last and grabs Rainbows.

“Shadow Magic,

I’m not being sappy like the other cause I’m not like them but I am saying you’re making a stupid mistake here dude all of us are really scared about losing you badly. Twilight herself is crying her eyes out about when she saw you that night when it happened. All I’m trying to say is if you die your taking a peace of us with you. Just don’t do it man.

Shadow sighs he knew Rainbow would write that in the letter which would make him hurt more since the rest never put that in they’re letters he grabs Applejack's letter in his magic and reads it.

“Shadow Magic,

Ah never wanted to hear the sound of you going to do this but sugar cube. I thought you had more sanity than Pinkie. Sugar cube I hope you make the right choice and do not do it.

Shadow levitated Applejack's aside and Luna’s letter over to him.

“Dear Shadow magic,

I know how you felt for since I am the princess of the night you dream of her all the time. You’re throwing everything your dreams for what reason for something that happened. You’re the one night person I love even thou all you do is make music that every pony loves. But there are other reasons you need to live on for there is somepony who needs you. Don’t throw your life away it will hurt her

Shadow feels his heart start being mended from that letter he knew right now he had one more letter to read the one he loved the one who he saw doing what broke his heart for what she did Twilights letter. ‘Can I do it can I read this even thou I read the rest what should I do now end my life.’ Shadow then levitates her letter over to himself open’s it.

“Dear Shadow Magic,

I never knew how much you felt to me before I read the card you dropped in front of me that night. I never knew you kept it hidden and now I feel so bad that I broke your heart. I can’t think of nothing else about what happened. When I when Celestia told us what you were planning on doing I blamed myself because of it I never wanted to lose a friend especially one I loved more than a friend. Yes What I said is true I love you Shadow Magic. When you first came here to ponyville you were the first to let me into your life I felt this way ever since. Just please wake up and see the truth I did not mean breaking your heart please realize I never wanted to cause this if you die I might as well kill myself then just to be with you. Please just please I want you to be the one I marry have a family with I never wanted this to happen. I’m guess what I’m trying to say is I uh I uh I love you DJ Shadow Magic. And if you die I want to be there by your side every step of the way.

  Shadow drops the knife I reads the last part out over 5 times.

“What am I doing?” The Dark blue unicorn says to himself. “I’m going to hurt the one I love if I do this”

Shadow smiles to himself and looks at himself in the mirror.

“I’m a mess I better shower before I show my face in public again.”

Shadow trots up into the bathroom quickly showers fixes his mane brighten ups the blue in it once again grabs his keys to his house stuck them in his winter coats pocket and trots out the door and throws up his hood and begins trotting on the snow to the library.

Rainbow dash was the first one to notice him and where he was going.

The Snow begins to pick up and get deeper Shadow was near his destination he nears it and Twilight looks through the window and notices him she quickly grabs her scarf coat and boots and quickly goes outside galloping towards him.

“SHADOW MAGIC!” the lavender mare yells jumping in the air tackling him down in a hug.

“You didn’t do it I can’t believe it.”

Twilight notices the blue unicorns hug is weak she finds out he was getting really cold laying in the snow and quickly gets up and they both go back in the library and Shadow lays on his knees by the fire to get warm.

“What cause you to Change you mind on ending you life?”  The Mare looked at the stallion before her.

“Love was the reason when I read your letter I knew it was all true so I stopped.” The blue unicorn’s cheeks then started glowing rosy like.

“Love made you stop from killing yourself when you read my letters you must have taken it deep.” The lavender mare’s cheeks started to glow red as well.

Minutes past both the Blue Stallion and Lavender mare were staring into each others eyes.

“Shadow magic I never seen you that upset before.”

“I know but I feel renewed now since you wrote that to me.”

Before the blue Stallion could respond to her more the purple unicorn wraps her hooves around her and pulls him down to his side along side her.

“I never wanted to break your heart Shadow magic I would really give my life for you to be happy.”

The blue stallion pulls the mare closer and let her know he was not going anywhere  she Smiles and nuzzles into his chest and slowly falls asleep
