Author of Daring Do series, INSERT NAME HERE, has just published his 10th and final book. He is interviewed and is asked "What next?"
His publisher, NAME HERE, tells him he should stick to his guns and write a side story to Daring. But he craves for something different.
He chats with Twilight Velvet for a while, whom he dated in high school, and she says to do what comes to him. She is babysitting her grandmare, Flurry Heart. Adorable little warhead.
While scrounging the library for inspiration he reads The Legend of the Sisters. He is intrigued at the skimmed over section on the Battle of Harmony, nopony but the princesses and Discord know what happened then.
Having found the inspiration, he decides that this will be his next book.
