Mine Hoof Chronicles #1

  " BEEP BEEP "  I bounce out of bed and slam my hoof on my Rainbow Dash  alarm clock , at the same time flapping my wings to hover as my hoof leaves the multicolored button. I float to my desk, going over my last dream." Just lots of squares, I don't know what that means"

  I look up to my poster when I sit down in my hard wood chair. The Wonder bolt poster, light up by glow sticks glued to the edges, stares back at me, Rainbow Dash having the largest grin.

   "That's it!!!" I realize the dream from last night! I go off into my mind as to where all these dreams come from. "Time Hoof!" Great, I woke mom up. I quickly scribble down my idea and stick it in my binder.

  I gallop to my closet and grab my sky blue mane bow and august it in my hair after thoroughly brushing it. I trot into the kitchen as mom places down 5 muffins on the table. Dad sits at the head of the table just stareing at the garage that holds 'The thing I'm not supposed to see' "Dad, you Ok?" I ask, again curious of my dad's thoughts. " No, I mean, yes, yes I'm fine Timey"

he corrects himself.

  I frown as I stress my wings to fly up to my marble dinning chair, I grin reappearing on my face as I realize what KIND of muffins are for breakfast today. " Blueberry! Mom, isn't this the kind of muffins u offered to dad when u met?" I asked mom, who was gathering her mail bag.

  " Yes sweetie, now tell Dinky And Sparkler I've gone to work so-" Mother was cut off. " Honey I have to go" Dad said, a sad expression on his face. Mom's face went from happy to sad in an instant.

Dad grabbed his tie and his brown saddlebags and stuffed a couple of muffins in there. "Dad,where are you going?" I asked suspisious of Dad's job once again. Dad went over and hugged me " Bissness  trip Sweet Heart, I'll be gone for while"

  Dad went over to Mom and wispered something in her ear I caught a couple of words and other things I didn't care about, but one word caught my attention and I made a mental note to right down later.

  Dad walked into the garage and all I saw was some blue. " Where is Daddy going Mom?" I asked, thinking I could get an answer from her instead. " Honey, he just has a really big job he has to do." I looked into Mom's crossed eyes and saw she was telling the truth.

  I looked at the garage of 'The thing I'm not supposed to see' and heard a loud noise, not loud enough  to cover your ears, but loud enough that I could hear it from the kitchen. " What's that Mom?!" Mom looked at me " Just your father's transportation. Now I'm going to work, tell your sisters I'm gone, if they are not up by the time you have to leave for the bus stop, wright them a note and set it at the table"

   I nodded as Mom flew out the door, chewing a muffin in the process. I looked over at the garage and decided I AM going to find out where dad is going and what is job is, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
