//-------------------------------------------------------// The Fall -by FineDetail- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Fall //-------------------------------------------------------// The Fall Fine Detail stumbled a little to get to her feet. She shook her head as her special somepony offered to carry her. He was something else. She had watched him die and come back to save her as a mugger started to hurt her. She was still dazed but refused his commands to let him fly her. She spread her wings and took off slowly. She kept telling herself if she took it slowly, she'd be fine. The multicolored colt that flew beside her, watching her through his dark glasses. She shook her head a little as rain started to come down onto them. They had to get home. It was late and the other pony they both loved would worry. She snapped out of a bit of a daze to her nick name being called. "Kisa.. You sure you're going to be okay?" He called out, voice almost being carried off by the storm. "Scout.. I'm a tough girl... I can handle it..." She tried her best to make sure he heard her. The storm raged and her vision started to blur. She tried not to show her condition but failed. She fell unconscious and her wings relaxed, causing her to plummet from the sky. It took a minute for the colt to realize what had happened but he did not hesitate in what he had to do next. He shot down, chasing the falling mare. His hat flew off with air rushing past him, causing his hair to whip a bit wildly in the wind. He focused on nothing but the green pegasus. He swept down below her, grunting with the force of her landing. Her grey blue eyes still closed. He looked down, gulping at how close the ground was. He landed and walked the rest of the way. "She's going to be alright, Sunbeam. Just give her some rest." "But Spud..." The voices she heard as she woke up were familiar. She recognized her friend and other lover's voices. She decided to keep her eyes closed to rest as Spud suggested. "She'll be fine. Scout. Why were you two flying in this weather?" "It wasn't this weather when we started.. Though I told her I'd fly her home. I could tell she was dazed from being hurt." "Come on, Sunbeam. Let's make Detail some food to wake up to." That voice she also recognized. Her ex yet still best friend, Patch. She had to be home. They all lived in one big house. She opened her eyes seeing the gray and dark blue colts standing at the foot of the bed. "Good morning, Kisa. Sleep well?" "Buck you, Elder." The green pegasus grunted out the nickname of the gray colt. "I'm stupid and I should die in a hole." "No." "But Elder..." She drug out the syllables of the nickname to make it more whiney. She eeped when a snout nuzzled her. She looked at the blue colt and sighed. "I'm sorry, sweetie... I should have listened." The dark colt crawled into bed with her. Spud chuckled and walked out of the room. "Kisawisa~" Scout cooed. "I love you too, baby boy." She snuggled into the colt and drifted back off to sleep.
