Nightshade Amberstone is the new filly in the town of Ponyville. Nobody knows her, and she is constantly being tormented by the prissy filly, Diamond Tiara, and her crony Silver Spoon. It doesn't help that she doesn't have a Cutie Mark to prove that she is a somepony, in fact she doesn't have anything. All she remembers is her name, and the memory of somepony telling her to see Celestia about a missing pony. With the help of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Nightshade discovers the true illusions hiding her destiny.
