Load Full StoryBang! As mother Pennywise violently slammed open the door, waking the little ponies’ suddenly. Mother Pennywise was an old gray pony with bright white hair who had owned Ponyville orphanage ever since it was built.
“Up now fillies and colt,” mother Pennywise shouted, “better get ready for school.”
A long sigh came for the tried group of ponies. Scootaloo forced her eyes open and wiggled out of bed in to a slumped stand. She grabbed her towel and made her way to the back of the long line of fillies and colts waiting to use the bathroom.
Scootaloo exited the bathroom clean and refreshed and made her way towards the kitchen for breakfast. She entered the kitchen and looked for some breakfast, half a piece of toast and a small bowl of hay was all she finds form the remains of a previously large breakfast. She took a seat at the empty dinner table and quickly shoveled in the food. She got up and glanced at the clock to find she was ten minutes late for school, in a rush she grabbed her bag and jump on her scooter and made haste for Ponyville Schoolhouse.
Arriving at the school she tied her scooter to a fence and placed her helmet in her bag she then entered the class room.
“SCOOTALOO what are doing this late to class?!” shouted Cheerlie
“Sorry Miss Cheerlie I got up late,” replied Scootaloo
“Go take a seat I’ll talk to you later,” Said Cheerlie
Scooatloo sat down at the only available desk looked forward and began to learn. If this was any other day this morning would ruin Scootaloo’s day however this was Friday and nothing could ruin Friday because every Friday Rainbow Dash picks up Scootaloo up from school and they spend the whole afternoon together.
“Play time now ponies,” chimed Cheerlie “Expect you Scootaloo.”
All the school ponies happily trotted out the door to the school field and began to play.
“So did you really get up late,” asked Cheerlie
“Yeah I did, it’s just hard to sleep in the orphanage sometimes,” said Scootloo trying to get some sympathy for Cheerlie
“Well …. Ok I’ll let you off this time but just err….. Just go outside and play,” Cheerlie replied awkwardly.
The rest of the day went buy with a blur.
Scootaloo sat at her desk eyes fused to the clock. One more minute in-till a whole Afternoon with Rainbow Dash, The thought going through Scootaloo’s head just made her more and more excited. All she felt like was running and jumping.
“Right now ponies it’s time to go,” Cheerlie announced.
Scootaloo’s eyes widen as she jumped out her seat and dashed towards the exit not allowing herself to get stuck behind any slow ponies. She exited the school into the bright sun of an Equestrian afternoon and took a long look at the all the mares waiting for school ponies, trying to find Rainbow Dash.
“Rainbow Dash RAINBOW DASH!” Scootaloo shouted.
“I’m here kid,” said Rainbow Dash.
Scootaloo turned to see her favourite cyan mare standing beside her.
“Rainbow Dash,” Cheered Scootaloo
As she wrapped her hover around Rainbow Dash and buried her head in her coat.
“So are you ready to go,” said Rainbow Dash returning the hug.
“Let me just get my scooter,” replied Scootloo breaking the hug.
Scootaloo untied her scooter.
“See that tree on that far hill?” Asked Rainbow Dash pointing into the distance
“Yeah,” Scootaloo said unsurely
“Race you there,” shouted Rainbow Dash as she flashed towards the tree
Scootaloo quickly jumped on her scooter and made chase. Scootaloo after a long scooter ride finally made it to the tree; Lying under the tree was a relaxed Rainbow Dash.
“Hey squirt, come take a seat next to me,” said Rainbow Dash
Scootlaoo sat and cuddled in to the warm fur of Rainbow Dash.
“I bet when you able to fly you’ll be flying circles around even the best flyers in Equestria,” said Rainbow Dash pulling Scootlaoo in closer.
“Do you really think so?”
“Yep and I’m going to make sure.”
You could see everything going on in Ponyville from atop this hill; you could even just about see Foal Mountain in the very distance past a large sprawling forest.
“It must be hard to sleep in that orphanage.”
“Yeah it can be sometimes.”
“Well you know you’re always welcome in my cloud house you know.”
Scootaloo’s eyes widen
“I’m I really!” Scootaloo said excitedly
“Of course do you want to stay tonight?” asked Rainbow Dash
“YES!” squealed Scootaloo
“Whoa calm it there squirt.”
“Oh sorry,” smiled Scootaloo
Rainbow Dash got up.
“Hey do you like muffins,” Ask Rainbow Dash
“Of course,” Replied Scootaloo
“I ‘m going to get some muffins, don’t worry ill be back in a dash”
Rainbow dash zipped off towards the town center leaving Scootaloo alone atop the grassy hill. Scootaloo looked around seeing nothing but grass waving in the wind Scootaloo could not help but find this o so relaxing. Just as Scootaloos eyes stared to drift shut she began hearing the voices of the two most annoying fillies creeping closer.
“Hey blank flank,” truanted Diamond Tiara backed up by the laugh of Sliver Spoon
“What do you two want?” asked Scootaloo annoyed at their presents
Diamond Tiara looked around to find Scootaloo’s Scooter leaned up against the side of the tree.
“I see your still ridding this lame old scooter,” said Diamond Tiara moving closer to the scooter followed Silver Spoon.
“It’s not lame even Rainbow Dash said it was cool,” shouted Scootaloo trying to defend herself
“Let’s see how cool Rainbow Dash thinks it is after this come on Sliver Spoon help me”
Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon began stomping on the scooter breaking it in to small pieces right in front of Scootaloo. Scootaloos eyes began filling up with tears.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING,” Scootaloo cried
Diamond Tiara and Sliver stop stomping. Scootaloo ran to what remained of her most prized possession. She held some of the wreckage in her hoofs and let out a full on cry. She looked up at the stuck up devils to see an angry looking Rainbow Dash with a muffin in each hoof hovering be hide them.
“Scootaloo,” said Rainbow Dash
The two bullies’ eyes filled with fear as they trued to face Rainbow Dash
“Yes Rainbow,” replied Scootaloo trying to wipe way the endless stream of tears.
“Can you hold my muffins?”
“Of course”
Rainbow Dash plopped the muffins into the hoofs of the crying filly and turned to face the bullies. Rainbow Dash took a deep breath
“HOW DARE YOU TREAT SCOOTALOO THAT YOU STUPIED STUCK SPIOLED LITTLE PLOTHOLES HOW WOULD YOU
LIKE IT IF I SMASHED UP SOMETHING YOU LOVE,” shouted Rainbow Dash at the top of her lungs. Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon began tearing up.
“We wouldn't like that,” said Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon in unison
“NO YOU WOULDN'T WOULD YOU NOW GET OUT MY SIGHT”
Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon turned and ran away in tears. Rainbow Dash went to comfort Scootaloo.
“Its okay there gone now so let’s eat,” said Rainbow Dash reassuringly
“What about my scooter,” Asked Scootaloo
“Don’t worry I promise ill get it fix for you,” smile Rainbow Dash
The rest of the afternoon flew by like a Wonderbolt and before Scootaloo knew it, it was time for bed.
“I’m tired,” said Scootaloo through a yawn.
“Yeah let’s go home” said Rainbow Dash
Scootaloo entered the warm cozy cloud that is Rainbow’s house.
“So where do I sleep?” asked Scootaloo
“You can just sleep with me,” said Rainbow Dash with a smile
Scootloo followed Rainbow in to her bedroom. Sat in the middle of the room was a queen sized bed with rainbow coloured sheets, next to the bed was a desk with a tall wobbling pile of Daring Do books sitting atop it.
“Ill sleep right side you sleep left side,” said Rainbow Dash
Rainbow Dash dived in to her side of the bed and fell into an instant sleep. Scootaloo climbed in to her side of the bed and drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
