Chapter 2: A new start PT.2

I awoke with a headache and my vision was blurred. I took a moment to get my bearings; the floor was of cold steel.

I looked around and noticed I was not in Ponyville anymore, I was at the citadel.

"Wait...why am I here? I was just at Twilight's house in Ponyville. But, now am here at the Citadel...." I made my way through the empty walkways and I wanderer around the area. I noticed my weapons where gone.

"Shit, no weapons. I have no idea why I am here and I also have no weapons. That's just wonderful, what have I gotten myself into this time." I walked around till I got to C-SEC HQ.

I noticed a shadow moving in the corner of the room, I quickly took cover behind a table. When I looked over the table, what I saw was what I least expected. I tall midnight blue pony that and wings and a horn, I ducked back down when it looked over.

"Well shit, this situation could not get any stranger." I sneaked around the room till I was next to this pony.

+pony's pov+

"These creatures' dreams are very dark and quiet. I sense much grief and sadness." I walked around this strange place till I heard a noise behind an object. "Who is there? Show your self now!" I demanded, but nothing happened.

I continued to move around, looking at the strange architecture of the area. I heard something move behind me and quickly turned around.

+Dunmore's pov+

I jumped over the desk I was hiding behind and tackled the strange pony to the ground and put it in a head lock. "I gotcha now, now tell me who you are and why I'm here!" My question was answered with a sudden movement upwards was the pony took flight and rammed me into a wall. I dropped to the floor with a groan. I recovered and got up, to only be hit in the face with a pair of hooves. Knocking me to the floor and sending my helmet flying off.

"I am Princess Luna, Princess of the moon and dreams! How you managed to attack me within a dream is strange, I do warn you not to do that again. But I shall give you pardon on this attack for you are new to this land and your dreams are different form the ones I have seen before. We are not enemy's, unless you want to be, I entered your dreams in curiosity and what I have found is strange, but we will meet soon in the physical world. I will see you then Dunmore Wolfgang" The pony was royalty and she continued to walk off, I called out to her.

"If your Princess Luna, then im guessing you are related to Princess Celestia, Correct!?" She turned her head to face me and only let out a small laugh.

"I am, and like I said before. We will meet again." She flew off into the bright light.

I covered my eyes as a bright light enveloped the area and the dream ended.

+Physical world+

I awoke again and looked around; the sun was starting to rise. I decided to get up from the seat and put the book that was in my lap back where I got it. I put my helmet on my belt and put my Backpack on. I was about to leave to do morning exercises but a book caught my eye. I walked over to the shelve and pulled it out, the title read 'Harmony and Chaos,' I opened it and started to read it. I noticed one of the pictures had an out of place door with a man going though it.

I raised an eyebrow and sat back down. I removed my helmet and flipped through the book to see if he was in any of the other pictures.

He was in there 5 times, his face always being hiding. One picture showed the door disappearing. I grabbed another book to see if he was in there as well. He was, this man was in Equestria, but his clothes were not slandered alliance Human clothing. The clothes looked old, he wore a Brown trench coat and black pants, his hair was short and his skin was white. He had on a hat which looked like Dr.Grant's hat from Jurassic park, loved that movie. But, how he was in this world was what confused me.

Just as i pulled out more books, Twilight came down the stairs and stared at the mess of book I had around the room.

"Dunmore, what are you doing? Why are all these books out?" She picked up books with her magic and put them away.

I pulled them back out. "I need those, and the answer to your question is that there is a strange man in some of these books. But his face is never shown, and he is walking through a door that is not there in other pictures. I am very curious about who this mystery man is."

I continued to move between books and copying down notes into my Omni-tool.

Twilight started to look at the books and noticed him as well. "I always thought that was nothing, but now, due to your arrival, it has to be something. We will have to conduct an investigation after you meet Princess Celestia today. She'll be here any minute now" and as if one cue, there was a knock on the door. "Oh no, that's her. Get this mess of books cleaned up some how, quickly!"

I put pieces of paper on some of the pages of some books so I could go back to it later. I stacked the books on the desk as neatly as possible. When I was done, Twilight brought the Princess into the room; I quickly turned around and gave a quick bow.

She looked at me and greeted me with a smile. "You must be Dunmore Wolfgang, the new arrival Twilight mentioned in her letter to me. Now I must tell you one thing, if you are here to seek out to inflict harm upon my friends. Then I must tell you that would be a grave mistake." her tone at the end was of one to make sure I got the message.

I crossed my arms and laughed a bit "Why would I want to seek out war with such a peaceful civilization, I only wish to have peace among all of you. If I did try to harm anyone here, I am sure I would not be able to do much before I would be quickly and efficiently dealt with"

The princess smiled at me again. "That is good to hear; now I must ask you to come to Canterlot so you may be kept some where safe. The changelings don't take kindly to those who attack them."

I let out a sigh "With all due respect you majesty, I feel safe here in Ponyville. What are a few Changelings going to do to me; I killed three of them easily. A few more wont hurt." I let out a confident chuckle.

The Princess thought about it for a moment before speaking. "Very well, you may stay here in Ponyville. I'm sure my faithful student Twilight, can keep an eye on you. I must take my leave for some business back in Canterlot; have a good day to the both of you." And with that she left to go do whatever pony princesses do.

Twilight let out a heavy sigh of relief. "Okay, now that that is over, we can carry on with our investigation with this mystery figure in these pictures."

Before we started I pulled out the book titled the ' The elements of harmony'. "I was looking through this book, and noticed on the last page it talks about an element of harmonic chaos. A combination of harmony and chaos. It also refers to it as light and dark magic, any ideas?"  I handed the book over to Twilight.

"Well, I've tried to look into this when I could. Now is a good time as ever to look into it." We spent most of the morning trying to figure out who the mystery man was. We stopped because we realized we forgot to eat breakfast.

I decided I should make the food, to be a good guest of course. The only thing I knew how to make with what she had was pancakes, so I made some blueberry pancakes and almost set the place on fire, note: don't leave the stove unattended when its not an A.I. using stove. The food was good; I took the worse batch of pancakes because I almost burnt down the house.

After breakfast, Twilight decided it was time for everyone met me.  I met a few townsfolk and we met with Time Turner and Derpy, he is a strange fellow and his very nice companion.

Then we got to Pinkie Pie. We entered Sugar cube Corner, and I was greeted with a Cherry pie to the face. "Okay. Not that weirdest way to met someone, but still strange"   I wiped off the pie from my face and was then assaulted by questions form Pinkie Pie

"Oh oh oh oh! You're the new thing in town, I knew because of my Pinkie senses. So, whatareyou? Whoareyou? Whereareyoufrom? Wahtdoyoueat? Whatdoyoudoforaliving?" She spat out these questions faster then a Mini-gun on max speed.

I rose up my hand to signal her to stop "Stop, I will answer what I can. I am a human, specifically, I am Dunmore wolfgang.N7 commander in the alliance and I am the 3rd human specter" Pinkies eye grew wide with wonder and a smile formed on her lips.

She let out a loud laugh "HA HA HA HA HA!!. So you are an alien! Ohhh....I don't have a 'welcome to Equestria alien' party set-up and I don't know what to do because it should of been a surprise. Twilight! Why did not tell me!?" her voice was of annoyance and yet still held cheerfulness. She is the element of laughter after all.

Twilight explained everything to Pinkie and I decided to take a look around the bakery.

"These cakes and cookies and other things look delicious. I will have to come back once I have some of the local currency. But, oh well." I turned to Twilight "so, who is next?"

She took out a list and checked a name off. "Next is Rainbow Dash, then Rarity, then Applejack and lastly Fluttershy" she put the list away.

I was already out the door "Come on, best not to keep anyone waiting." we went off, after saying goodbye to Pinkie, to go meet Rainbow dash.

The meeting went quickly due to her challenging me to a race. I declined, knowing this Pegasus would leave me in the dust. Twilight had to explain a few thing to Rainbow Dash about me, some of the things confused Rainbow. But, we got that done and were off to meet Rarity.

We got to Rarity's house and the first thing she did, was judge how my armor looked. I mean, I know it's not the top of fashion, but its armor. Not meant for show, meant for combat. Nut she insisted on making me some clothing and she would not let me object. So I pulled up an image of my NWUs, if it was going to be anything, it was going to be those. Black with red and the alliance symbol on the front. She kindly gave them to me for free and, again, kept me from objecting. She was the Element of Generosity indeed.

Next was Applejack, she lived at sweet apple acres, apparently the best apples in the whole land of Equestria. She gave me a good look over, and just said she felt like she could trust me. I can tell when someone is lying to me, not a single ounce of lying was in her, Element of Honesty no doubt.

Next, was Fluttershy. Twilight warned me about her being shy and she was right. I soon as he saw me, she ran back into her cottage as if I had a Reaper or Collector army behind me. I had to be gentle with m introduction and assure her that I meant no harm to her animals. She was easy to talk to after a while and was quite kind to me. Element of Kindness, who would have thought otherwise. We walked back to Twilight's house after saying our farewells.

We spent some time looking for a house for me and I picked an old guard outpost. It was made out of hard, solid stone and had a watch tower protruding out of it. It had 2 floors, 8 windows and 2 doors. It was simple, clean and held a military image.

I ordered some simple furniture and the inside had 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, dinning room, and a study.

I put my armor on the dinning room table, ate 2 MREs and took a shower. The water was warm to my surprise. I brushed my teeth with what I had, that means a basic two day supply of toothpaste and a compactable tooth brush. I went to bed to sleep in my new house here in Equestria, my new home from now on. I don't know why but I had a feeling that tomorrow was going to be a very exciting, yet, some what terrifying day. I was hoping that I would not have to reveal my secret. The powers I hold are strange even to me, they seemed to intensify when I entered this world, how, I do not know. Tomorrow was going to be one hell of a day and it would change my fate here in Equestria and spin the world upside down and round again.
