Take a Break
Twilight sat at her desk, her face adorned with her cute expression of pinpoint focus. She switched her gaze from the book on her left to the scroll on her right, making notes on the fresh parchment. I sighed, laying in bed alone, waiting for her to finish. I yawned , but I wasn't tired. Nay, I had other thoughts on my mind, and I was surprised Twilight wasn't smelling it.
"Twily..." I whispered softly, "your marefriend is waiting for you..."
"I'm almost done, 'Shy..." she replied, her gaze unshifting.
"You said that four hours ago when the sun set," I complained, trying to reason with her.
"I'm just about finished," she insisted.
I sighed and got to my hooves, shedding the blanket I was tucked beneath. I slowly stepped over to her, and stared at my target: her ear. Spike had told me at random one day that if something messed with her ears, she'd lose focus almost instantly. He proceeded to tell me about an incident when she'd been driven near mad because a single gnat wouldn't stop trying to land on her ear. Tonight, I took this theory to the test.

Her initial surprise melted down into a pleasantly surprised hum as I nibbled and gnawed gently on her right ear. My curiosity piqued, I asked, "Oh? So what were you studying?"
She remained silent, though I could feel her ears warm up a little bit. I released her ear and walked around to face her. She looked away with a blush stained on her cheeks. I smirked. "What were you studying, Twilight?" I inquired, a little more firmly this time.
"Well... Um... I've been... Uh... Curious... as to... certain... ways to spice up our love-life..." she blurted after a few awkward stammers. A sheepish smile crept onto her face and her blush intensified to the level of the heating wires in a toaster. I tilted my head at her a little bit.
It was a bit awkward to think about, but even I had my... kinks. I wasn't exactly innocent. I mean, I wasn't a complete pervert like most stallions I'd met who I'd caught staring at my backside, but I had done my fair share of fantasizing. She smiled weakly at me, still extremely anxious. Her cheeks now radiated enough heat to cook on, and her body shivered and shook as though she walked through a blizzard. I placed a hoof on her leg in an effort to calm her down. "I'm so embarrassed..." she uttered with shaky breath. I rolled my eyes, and ran my hoof along her smooth-furred legs. Despite her not exercising as much as Dash, her legs were firm and well-toned but still soft.
"Twily?" I asked just above a whisper.
She looked up at me for a moment, falling for my trap, "Yes?"
I smirked, "Where's the rope?"
She fell backwards out of the chair, having jumped back just a bit too far. Her hooves flailed in the air for a few moments before she regained her sense of direction. As soon as she did, she backpedaled away from me, staring at me as though I were Nightmare Moon. She shivered visibly from anxiety alone.
"Twily, I told you I'm perfectly fine with this. It's perfectly normal!" I reasoned, taking a tentative step towards her. "I understand that you think it's weird, but it isn't."
"It's not right!" she squeaked. "It's weird! It's queer! It's–"
"Hot," I interjected. I took a few more steps towards her.
"Huh?"
"I think it's incredibly..." I paused for emphasis on the next word, which I purred warmly into her ear, "...hot."
"I-I... What?" she stuttered, apprehensive of my words.
"I think it's incredibly sexy and could be really fun," I giggled. I planted a light peck on her cheek. "Now tell me where the rope is so we can try it out."
"But–"
"Twily, you're over-thinking and second-guessing, both of which are bad to do on tests," I interruped, lecturing her. "Besides, I owe you from that storm last month. Now listen to yourself. What do you want? Give me the first answer that comes to you."
"In the closet, green box," she caved, hanging her head in defeat. "The book on my desk will show you how. Page three twenty. Hurry before I second-guess myself."
I needed no more orders. I had already gotten the box of rope from the closet and was now flipping the pages of the book she'd been reading. I found the page, but looked at the one after it. I was almost surprised by the diagrams, which included the female anatomy of unicorns. I carefully memorized each twist of the rope, every knot and its position, and most importantly, the motion-restrictions this particular setup had.
When I felt confident enough in my mental diagram of what we'd start with, I turned to Twilight, who was already sprawled out on the bed, her forelegs raised and pointed at the two posts on either end of the headboard. "If you really want to stop, just let me know," I blurted instinctually.
"No, don't stop," she retorted. "You're right. It's time to stop second-guessing myself."
I smiled at her and planted a loving kiss on her lips. I grabbed another length of rope equal in length to the first, and stepped over Twilight to tie up her left forehoof. A smirked as I did so, knowing full well she had a perfect view of everything my tail normally hid. The smell of her arousal hit my nose just as I finished tying the knot around the bedpost. It took me but two minutes to tie her hind legs to the bedposts.
She wriggled a little but the ropes didn't give her much more than a quarter of an inch of wiggle room in any direction. Just having tied her up, I found myself fairly warm between my legs. "Yes, Twily?"

I tilted my head and lifted my eyes as though to deeply meditate on the proposal. She groaned and struggled against her restraints, which made her look endearingly helpless. "Come on! Don't tease me like this!"
I grinned devilishly and began untying her hind legs, facing my backside to her so as to tease her while she was motionless. Every few moments, I'd flick my tail sideways, winking at her. I took four minutes to untie her hind legs. I turned around to see that she had indeed been staring as I'd hoped, a massive blush painting her face pink-going-on-red. Her eyes were fixed upon the position my rump had at one point been. I smirked slyly, planting my hind legs over her face while I untied her forelegs. I twisted my neck around to face her, and I saw her with a devilish smirk on her face and one last familiar piece of rope in her mouth. She crawled under the ropes binding my wings, making her way around to my face, which was virtually forced into the bedsheets in the exact position her marehood had leaked onto. "I love you too," she murmured back. "Thank you."

We broke our kiss, and she curled her head down to rest on my neck. I smiled happily, knowing that I'd just made weird normal, just by convincing her to take a break from reading.
