The Arrival - The Attack (Revised) Chapter One The Arrival Location: Pony Solar System Year: 2993 Date: 7/4 Time: 1200 Click! I awoke to the sound of the cryogenic chamber being opened. I got out and started to choke up water. I saw that the other chambers have started to open. Where the fuck was I? What was this place? Soon, all the water cleared from my system, and I began to think straight. That’s right. I was on a star fighter, heading on to an important mission. I got up shakily, and tried to stand. All around me, my fellow soldiers faced the same problems: nausea, temporary memory loss, vomiting. Good thing I was ok. "Major Briggs!" I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw General Farnsworth. Snapping to attention, I saluted him and said, “Good morning, sir!” The General saluted back, and then relaxed. "At ease, Major." "Have we arrived?" I asked the general. "Yes we have Major. Now get your ass in a suit and follow me." I grabbed a suit from next to me and put it on. Breathing deeply, I slowly eased the helmet over my head, and my sight slowly faded to darkness. I heard it click as it latched on with the rest of the super suit. Suddenly, there was a high pitched beeping noise, and the optical devices came online. The helmet flared with light, and I fell right on my ass. I heard Farnsworth laugh a bit at my reaction, and I just glared at him and flipped him off. As soon as I was used to the suits breathing circuits, I followed the general to the bridge of the spaceship. As much as he and I like to joke, I had to follow his orders. The general is one of if not the most important man on this ship because he is the general of the United Human Race. The world hasn't been decided in countries for over 30 years now. All of its inhabitants were united under one man...and he was the one in front of me. As we arrived at the bridge, I saw that there were many people rushing about, getting weapons and gear ready, and shouting out orders. General Farnsworth turned toward me, his face grim and serious. "Major, you and Thunderbird Squad will deploy on Equestria and find that princess." "Yes sir." I replied, snapping once more to attention. "Get to the Blackhawk AT-50; I assume you know why we're here." He pointed over to the large window of the spaceship. On the other side of the glass and energy shields was a place that all humans had hated and desired with a burning passion. Equestria. Long time ago, Princess Celestia banished the humans from Equestria to a distant world which is Earth because they were jealous of our advancements in technology. Now we are back for revenge. I turned without a word to the general, and headed off to the Blackhawk. I walked down a nearby hall and found myself in the aircraft hangar, where all the fighters were stored. I walked down the row of vehicles until I found the Blackhawk AT-50. I found my squadron, Thunderbird, sitting on a bench next to the Blackhawk. I took a head count; there were seven men, myself included. I saw someone I recognized, and I smiled. "Major Briggs!" My second in command, Captain Norwood called out. “Ready for deployment?” I gave a ruthless grin, and replied promptly. “Aye aye, Captain.” I turned towards the rest of the men, all of whom shared my enthusiasm. "You know why we're here gentlemen. We're here to have a nice chat with the princess that banished the human race from this wonderful world. This was our home as much as it was theirs, and they took it from us. " I addressed them. They all cursed Celestia’s name, and each put a hand on their weapons. “Now, we’re back, and we’re pissed off. We’ve come to take what is ours. Now tell me, are we ready to kick some little pony ass?! "Sir, yes sir!" They bellowed, giving off bloodthirsty cries. "Now double time your sorry asses in the Blackhawk and let's fucking rock and roll!" I screamed, grinning like a madman. Followed my soldiers into the sleek aircraft, and strapped myself in for a ride into history. The Blackhawk deployed from the hangar and went past the airlock. As I sat inside, I couldn’t help but think what a piece of beauty she was. The Blackhawk is a space/air/land hybrid that can deploy onto any terrain. It was fast, so we have arrived at Eqeustria in four hours. Felt like forever, but that's because we were outside of the solar system, and this ship can't have any turbo boosters or hyperdrives. So, I had four hours to think. I looked around at my team, seeing a group of men that I would trust with my life. Captain Norwood. He and I go way back; we grew up together, went through basic together, and graduated from the Academy with each other. He’s saved my ass countless times, and he never let me live that down. Still, he was a good guy. Rookie, rank Staff Sergeant. He was the new kid on the team, fresh out of basic training. I was told that during training, he proved to be a trustworthy soldier. He also graduated from flight training and was the pilot in our squad. In the brief time he and I knew each other before getting into cryostasis, Rookie and I pulled many a prank. He still had a lot to learn, but he’s a quick learner. Dan, rank 2nd Lieutenant. He was the brains of our crew, always figuring ways around problems in seconds. Dan is by far the only man I know who’s been able to speak eight languages, all fluently, have a medical degree. The dude’s a genius when it comes to weapons, and he’s customized countless pieces of gear into unstoppable war machines. He was the scientist of the group. Viper, rank Master Sergeant. Viper was a master of close quarters combat, and always floored the other guys on the mat. Tall and built like a monster, he was pretty much a walking breathing tank. No one could stop the guy if he wanted something done, short of putting a round in his head. Hawkeye, rank Lance Corporal. Hawkeye was our marksman, a definite master of the sniper rifle. He once told me about a time he took off a Taliban fighter’s head with a single shot from a mile and a half away. I didn’t believe him...until he did it again when he and I were together in the Hindu Kush mountains. I learned never to mess with him after that. Shadow, rank Gunnery Segeant. “Gunny”, as we sometimes call him. Shadow was the assassination expert, the man who can kill from two feet, and you wouldn’t hear him. The man was so silent, he was able to sneak up on deer and rabbits. Again, never piss him off. You won’t see him coming. Literally. Finally, there was Tech. The oddball of the group, Tech specialized in exactly what his name implied: technology. This guy could hack any system, and repair any gear. Tech also specialized in high tech weaponry, and as such, had his own custom battle rifle. The reason Captain Norwood, Dan, and I don't have any nick names because of respect because we saved the rest of our squadron's lives. I thought back to the war of unity, where I met the rest of my squadron. Location: Afghanistan, Earth Year: 2961 Date: 4/23 Time: 1300 My squadron and I are running through the battlefield, and there were only three of us left, as the Afghanistan forces resisted the United Human Empire. Me, Captain Norwood, and Dan. We just had to run through one more house to escape the oppressing Afghanistan forces. As we entered the house, I saw four soldiers cornered by ten Afghanistan men. The Afghanistan men had to soldiers' weapons and was about to kill them, and my squadron and I shot the exposed neck of their armour. The Afghanistan men crumpled to the ground. "Thank God! You saved our asses!" The tallest of the four said. "We must MOVE!" Dan yelled at us as the four other soldiers picked up their weapons and we ran out of the house. There was a chopper waiting, with the whir of it's blades, 200 meters from us. "How can we ever repay you for saving us!" The tall one said to us, grateful for saving his friends and him. "How about do nothing." I grinned. The chopper took off, and a rocket hit the chopper. Captain Norwood the four soldiers we saved off the chopper, along with me and Dan. As soon as we jumped out, the chopper exploded, it's shrapnel raining around us. "Holy shit man! You guys saved all of us once again!" A different soldier praised. "It's my duty." Captain Norwood replied bluntly. We had to run 500 meters to the shore, where armoured ships sat at the shore, waiting for our retreating forces. Dan pushed one of the soldiers as an IED went off where he was standing just moments before. We heard pulse shots behind us as the Afghanistan forces tried to stop us from escaping. I heard explosives and the peppering sounds of the suppressive fire behind us as we ran through the wet sand to the ships. The ships started to undock and the huge hangar doors started to close. I yelled, "JUMP!" And we all jumped through the gap in the huge hangar door just in time. Later, we were formed into a squad, and the four soldiers respected us ever since. Present Time We arrived at the planet. I looked over to Captain Norwood, and he nodded. He leaned forward and pushed a button. We slowly began our descent... Suddenly, the Blackhawk shook, and we all were thrown around. "WARNING LEFT ENGINE GONE." The ship started to blare out as an alert. "Damn magic." Rookie said to our copilot as he tried to regain balance. "Shit, shit, SHIT! We gotta get our wing suits and jump!" He yelled at us as he left the pilot’s seat. We hastily put on our wing suits and Rookie opened the hangar. I was the first to jump out, and was soon followed by the rest of my squad. I tucked my arms in and we descended towards a village. We stabilised over the village and we got into a V formation, with me at the front and we activated our boosters. We sped up faster and faster, and soon and we broke the sound barrier and flew down to the village. A Little Ago Twilight Sparkle walked the streets of Ponyville, carrying important papers in her mouth when she saw a glint in the sky. Curious, she looked up into the sky, squinting her eyes to try and get a better look at the tiny shape. When the glint came closer she realized that it was seven black shapes, and without warning, they broke the sound barrier above her. The sonic booms bursted in the sky, blasting away all the clouds in the area. Moments after she saw the sonic boom, a loud noise struck Ponyville and it made her papers fall out of her mouth. The Present We activated our parachutes as we sped past the village, landing on the edge of a forest. We walked towards the village. Our parachutes and wingsuits retracted into the suit’s jetpack system. Getting up, I held up a signal, asking the rest of my team if they were alright. They signalled back, giving me the all clear. Nodding, I stood up and started walking eagerly towards the village. As soon as we neared the village, I heard a loud crash and a huge fireball behind us. I smiled as I heard the shrieks of the little ponies. Hm. I suppose it isn’t everyday that a huge spaceship crashes near your village, and eight strange creatures stroll into town. Many ponies were frozen in place as we walked among them. Once we reached the town square, we stopped, and ponies gathered all around, curious despite their fear. I held out a hand towards one of them, a mint green unicorn. She timidly walked towards me, and as she neared, allowed me to pet her on the head. I smiled, and promptly smacked her aside, sending her flying into the crowd. Chaos broke out, and they tried to run away. No, we couldn’t have that. I lifted up my blaster and fired a shot. It rang throughout the village, silencing the cowering equines. I lifted my visor smirked, and yelled at the top of my lungs, "WE'RE FUCKING BACK PONIES!!! MISSED US?????" They only shrunk back even more, their eyes filled with fear. "After one thousand years of waiting, we are back! Back for REVENGE!" I shot my blaster into the air once more, causing them to shiver back once more. "Now please, tell us, where are is your fucking princess? We’d like a ‘word’ with her." I smirked, knowing fully that our ‘word’ probably included shooting down the tyrant that exiled us. Suddenly, a cyan pegasus flew up to us and got in my face. "AND, Who are YOU?" I didn't even bother to reply. I just set my pulse gun to stun and shot her. She went flying 100 meters back and stared in shock. "I can't move my body! WHAT DID YOU DO?" She yelled at us. "You are temporarily paralysed." Dan, the scientist in our group said. He smiled at her, a cold harsh smile. “Don’t worry, you’re not dead...yet.” A pegasus went flying in our direction, but I just punched it right in the face, sending it 200 feet away from us. Emboldened by the attempts of their friends, they all started to crowd around us and to fight us. I simply laughed as their hooves hit our suits, banging against the armor; it was made of Tandolium, an advanced metal lighter than a feather and yet tougher than dragon scales. In other words, their hooves didn't even scratch us. They all started piling on top of Viper, but he just curled into a ball and suddenly jumped up, where all the ponies went flying off of him. A pony had a 2x4 and smacked Hawkeye's armour. The 2x4 just broke in half and Hawkeye took out his pistol and shot the pony. The ponies didn't notice that, and kept on piling on top of us, blocking out the sky and sun and making it a all around claustrophobic event. "We gotta go!" I heard Shadow yell in the comms. We activated our wing suits, flying away from the ponies. Some ponies were clinging on us, but we just shook them off and they fell to their deaths. I could see around six ponies running away from the village. We landed in the forest from earlier, and I attempted to radio the Spaceship. "General! Ponies ARE HOSTILE. Repeat, PONIES ARE HOSTILE." I radioed to the Ship. "Are you away?" The general asked. "Yes, they tried to pile on us and fight us, but we flied away." I replied. "Mark your target, we are sending Robin wing right away." He directed. I looked at Tech, the strategy and tech expert in the squad. He nodded and used his marker, a tablet of sorts. "This is Robin wing, we have received your target." I heard a crackle in my comm. I looked up and saw a wing of airships that flew past us. "Dropping the bombs." I heard Robin one of Robin wing radio in. I saw some bombs falling on the village, creating a huge fireball where the village once was. "Positive effects, flying back to mother ship." I heard Robin wing radio in. I saw a dark cloud in the distance, then noticed that that cloud was a huge swarm of Pegasi that flew after Robin wing. The swarm caught up to Robin wing with amazing speed, and started to engulf the Robin wing. "WE'RE HIT, WE'RE HIT!" I heard Robin one radio in. I saw the swarm pass us and saw Robin wing crashing down and exploding on the ground. "Godspeed Robin wing, Godspeed." I heard Shadow say. "Robin wing is down, they were hit by a swarm of Pegasi after dropping the bombs on the village." I radioed to the general. "This means TOTAL WAR." I the General say. Five minutes later, I heard a dropship come. It is literally a large hanger as a small spacecraft, and landed 200 meters away from us. The large door started to open. "Brigadier General Tomson!" I said as we walked towards him. "Major Briggs, nice to see you." He said as we walked towards him. I saw that the trucks began to deploy. "You and squad Thun-" He was caught off as a red Pegasus tackled him from bushes next to him. Viper reached for his gun and swiftly shot the Pegasus in the head, sending it to the left. Brigadier General Thomson continued, "As I was saying Squad Thunderbird along with ten other men will be in charge of arresting the rulers of Equestria and transporting them to here." "SIR YES SIR!" We replied. We arrived where the ten men were waiting for us. They all stood up and followed us. The general said, "There's this big castle. We presume that's where the rulers of Equestria must stay." "Alrighty then! LETS ROCK FUCKING ROLL!" I yelled to the men as we mounted speeders, shooting off and floating on land as we headed towards that castle the general explained was the capital city, and the Princess' only fortification... 1. The Arrival2. The Slaughter - The Attack (Revised) Chapter Two The Slaughter I saw the castle loom over us, as we approached it. I put up a hand, signalling for my squadron and the other ten soldiers to stop. Our speeders stopped to a full halt. I took out my binoculars and looked at the gate of the castle. There were ten guards guarding it, must've been more security since we attacked Ponyville. I smirked. Nothing can stop us and our powerful technology. "This is the plan. We sneak to the gates, with the transparent camouflage that lasts a few minutes, and then crack the heads of the guards there." I planned. "I'll stay here." Hawkeye said to us as he set up his sniper nest. We sneaked through the trees, and we followed Shadow's lead. When he activated his invisible camouflage, we all did also. We were in position behind the guards. One of the guards scratched his head with a hoof. I looked at Hawkeye in his sniper's nest. He was under some leaves and had his special robotic camoflauge set to foliage camouflage. I could see the look in his eyes, one that was hungry for blood. We snapped the guards' necks like a twig. The snap was louder than expected. "Damnit." I said as a lot more guards looked over the wall. The guards leaped from the wall, stumbling and landing in front of us. I tapped one on it's shoulder. It looked behind him, confused, not seeing anything. I could see them sweating. I whispered into the comms. "Kill em'." I heard the silenced fire of Hawkeye's sniper rifle as he took out three of the guards. They looked around, frantically, not seeing where the attacker was. We all turned off our camouflage and opened fire with our pulse guns. The big gate door behind us opened. I saw five guards looking at us. We ran towards them, and opened fire. We heard the shrieks and screams from the ponies that were "civilised". We ran into the city, shooting down hordes of guards. It was total chaos. Ponies flying everywhere, and magic auras exploding everywhere. I looked down at my feet as I saw crossbow bolts impaling themselves into the ground. I looked forward and saw guards that were shooting at me with their crossbows. I dashed up to them and smashed them which a sickening crack. I shot the rest that evaded my blow. A pony that had armour that was half purple and half gold appeared out of nowhere with a magical 'poof!' The pony was a stallion with a white horn, coat, and dark and light blue mane and tail. The pony looked like a captain. Shadow appeared from thin air behind him, and stabbed him in the back. The captain crumpled to the ground as Shadow took his knife out of it's back and disappeared with his fully invisible camouflage, which lasted shorter than the transparent one. "We have to approach the castle!" I yelled into the comms as I sprinted through the streets torwards the castle. "Roger that, ETA two minutes." I heard Shadow say. The castle loomed in front of me, and I met the rest of the squad and the ten soldiers there. We pushed the door that let into the castle but it wouldn't budge. "Great to know they have common sense." I said to myself. I nodded at Rookie and he placed breaching charges on the door. "Clear!" I yelled as I detonated the charges, facing away from the door and to the side, hunching over. The door exploded with metal flying everywhere outside, but our suits protected us. Viper ran through the mass of metal. My jaw dropped as I saw him dropping ponies and killing them with his bare hands. He is a human tank. We followed behind him, and we looked for any place that looked like a throne room. We plowed through mobs of ponies, shooting them down as we did. We saw two decorated doors, one was decorated as if it were the sun, and the other the moon and the stars. Rookie placed more charges on the wall. "Clear!" I yelled as I detonated the charges. We burst through the hole in the doors, and we saw two princesses along with six mares. "Ahh, Princess. We are back. It was a big mistake banishing us from this planet and destroying our technology. Such a shame you puny little ponies wouldn't embrace technology and advance with us. You, without reason, kicked us out out of jealousy towardsour power and technology" I said in my most villainous voice. "Who ya'll callin' puny?" A orange pony with a Stetson hat asked. "Quiet you!" Tech barked as he shot the pony with a power shot, just for blasting someone back a few meters. The pony flew back and hit the wall, knocked out. "Now, you will comply with us or you'll be killed." I ordered. They just took a fighting stance and I laughed. "Ok, Just to make this fair, I will do hand to 'hoof' combat with you, versus all of you." Shadow and Viper complained and pouted. "But we wanted to do that." "Next guards we see you can do that, but stand down for now." I said as I got in a fighting stance. They all charged, thinking that they could do something if they charged all at once, but my armour has gravity mode where I can't be knocked over. "Jarvis, gravity mode." "Yes master." My suit's AI, Jarvis, replied. They all crashed into me and were dazed. I took the chance and I deactivated gravity mode. "Gravity mode off." I brought my foot down kicked with all my might, a orange pony that yelped in pain as she went flying towards the wall and made a small crack as the smashed against it. A flying cyan pegasus punched my armour as hard as she can, "You don't hurt my friends!", but I saw her wince as she felt that she just hit hard metal. Annoyed, I grabbed those wings and cracked them, making a sickening *CRACK!* the pony screamed in pain, "AAAAAAAGHH!", and I threw it took the floor, sending her sliding to where the orange pony was, still conscious. During each of my single fights, I didn't feel them topple me over anyways because they couldn't hit my armour hard enough, so I was oblivious to their attacks. Nor magic was effective, I had magic dampeners in my armour. A purple one, a white one, and the two princesses charged up a magic beam in their horns. They shot it at me, but it was deflected right off the armour, since we do have magic dampeners that we found out how to make ever since we scanned the planet, which was even before I woke up. I used the dash feature of my armour, thrusters at the back of my arms, back, and legs. I got to the white princess and I slapped her as hard as I could. 'Sometimes I just have to smack a bitch.' She crumpled to the floor, and the blue princess got enraged "HOW DARE THOU HURT OUR SISTER!" She barrelled into me, but I brushed her off. I slammed a kick into her underside and she crumpled. I saw the remaining three cowering in fear in a corner. I heard horror music as I approached them slowly. The white and yellow one got behind the lavender one, and the yellow one wrapped her wings around the white one. The lavender one charged up a magic beam. "I will spare you, but you will be locked in here. Consider this mercy. I have specific orders to take the white one with wings and a horn. It doesn't matter if you escape." I simply said to them. I saw the big white one stand up and try to escape through the window. I heard the loud rings as the suppressed fire of Hawkeye's sniper rifle shot the white princesses' legs. It was a stunning round, as real rounds would be a lot louder even if it was suppressed. "Princess Celestia! NO!" The lavender unicorn yelled. Viper grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, he was taller than her. Celestia just hung her head down in defeat, and was guided by Shadow from the castle. "General! We have the white Princess, but a dark blue princess and six mares that are important to them are still in there." I radioed the General. "They are of no importance." He replied with malice in his voice. "Excecute the white Princess in front of all the citizens." "W-What sir?" I asked, surprised by his request. He just ignored me and replied, "We are sending men over there." I heard static as he didn't say anything else. We walked out of the castle and into the town square. Viper shot his gun into the air, which was really loud. "CITIZENS OF CANTERLOT! HERE IS YOUR PRINCESS!" My voice boomed through the streets. The ponies stopped running in confusion and stared at us. I pushed the princess to her knees and put my gun to her head. There were no guards to stop me, as we killed most of them in our invasion, and the rest just gave up and sat down because they knew they lost. Celestia knocked the gun out of my hand with one of her hooves. Captain Norwood took out his pistol and he asked, "Any last words? 'Princess?'" He spat. "Yes; I will not die my ponies! You will see me in the future!" "Nonsense." Captain Norwood said as he fired. Instead of her head blowing apart, at least It stayed intact. I checked her pulse, dead. The ponies didn't avenge their ruler because they know they will loose and they were demoraled by the death of their ruler. I smiled with malice and I heard drop ships approaching the city. I pushed the body onto the ground and we turned around to face the ships that we approaching. The ships landed outside the city, and men came into the city. Me and my squad dismissed the ten men that aided us, and we walked through the crowd of ponies and soldiers. Hawkeye joined us and we walked out of the city like total badasses. I walked forward the general who was waiting for us at a ship. "Have you executed the princess?" He asked. "Yes we have." I replied with a bit of remorse in my voice for killing Celestia, even though it was for revenge. "Good. Now go patrol the streets of Canterlot and round up the ponies." The General ordered. I saw the other men capturing the ponies that were escaping from Canterlot. We walked back into the city. My squad and I captured most of the guards along with other soldiers, and I found the captain of the guard that Shadow stabbed in the back, laying on the ground. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Shadow asked. "Buck off." The captain replied. Viper kicked him in the chest. "You have a big mouth don't you?" Viper asked teasingly. "You're coming with us to the dungeons of this wretched castle." I told him as my squad an I hauled him off to the castle. We pulled the captain to the dungeons, to his new home. I opened the door to a cell and threw him in there. I locked the cell, making sure I locked it so he wouldn't use magic to escape. "You won't get away with this!" He yelled at us. I threw a roll of gauze for him to patch up his wound. "Oh fuck yes we will." I sneered at him. We walked out of the dungeons, regrouping with other soldiers to finish rounding up the civilians 2. And screaming through caps. Chapter Three Revelations PT. 1 Location: Pony Solar System Year: 2994 Date: 7/4 Time: 1200 The Mane Six and Princess Luna are still in hiding. I looked at my watch as I waited my turn for a meeting with the General. My whole a squad had to have a one on one meeting with him today. I tapped my right foot on the ground impatiently as I waited my turn. I averted my gaze from my watch to Shadow who was sharpening his knife with another knife. He calls one Betsy and the other one Slaughter. I don't see the logic in sharpening a knife with another... I lightly shrugged and looked at the vast white expanse that is a ceiling as I entered the Land of Nod. Briggs, wake up! Wake up! I heard very faintly. Wake up! WAKE UP! A voice screamed in my ear. "Wha!- I ain't got no PILLS!" I exclaimed in surprise as I woke up from my dream and everything rushed into view. I saw Hawkeye standing in front of my seat. "It's your turn." He grunted. I made a little grunt as I stood up and picked up my bag, turning to the door next to me and opening it slowly but it still made loud creaking and groaning sounds. I stepped inside, and heard a muffled sound. My gaze immediately snapped to the right wall, where a door was slammed shut. What was that?! ....Maybe a figment of my imagination.... The office was brightly lit but darkly furnished, creating anonimous effect. I saw the General sitting behind a desk. I sat downt in the seat across him, the wood making a loud creak. The General cleared his throat and began to talk, his chair slightly swaying sideways and with his hands making a triangle pointed at me. "We have to talk about something very serious." He said in his rough voice. Shit. "You and your squad are excused of your positions. I require no more need from this squad. The other squad members have been... Relieved... Let's say, of their position. You shall recieve an reward." "Go on." I said sadly and quietly. "That reward is death." I immediately stood up from my chair, the chair moving backwards a few feet from my abrupt movement. I heard the distinct sound of guards pointing their weapons at me, their rifles making a high pitched whine. "Goodbye, Briggs. See you in hell." His form warped and was enveloped in black fire, only to reveal a dark coated PONY with a red jagged horn and green and purple eyes that have pure malice in them. Before I could even move my arm, he gripped me around my throat with dark magic that suffocated me. I grabbed at my neck as I was lifted up and my vision started fading to black. My vision started to get blurry but cleared up to a veiw of a dark and desolate landscape. Fires burned around me, turning the grass to ash and the trees to charcoal. I heard the sound of guns firing around me, and I looked around. The clouds were dark black and suffocated the light of day, the only light being from the fires and the dimmed light that filtered through the clouds. Where... Where am I!? That question was immediately answered by a loud thunder that shook the earth, and a large shadow in the shape of a snake crashing into the earth and swiping soldiers off their legs. A dark shadow formed into a face that resembled the pony thing that the General morphed into. Tendrils of... Shadow matter... started to fill the sky followed by a deep and distorted laugh that rumbled through the atmosphere. The scene changed. I saw a whole city get quickly engulfed by shadow and the inhabitants grow a halo of shadow around their heads. Their eyes turned to green and purple irises and pupils, while they marched in unison. Factories started to produce in maximum speed, and the same bone-chilling laugh was heard. My memories came back to me and I knew everything now. The shadow-pony took over our minds and made us suffer without notice, taking the form of General Farnsworth and forcing us to invade a innocent world full of happiness and peace. Only to get his revenge. No. This can't be. No. I killed... Innocent pe-ponies? Happy ones bouncing around with rainbows and sugar? WHAT? NO IT CANNOT BE! The scene melted away, and the bright office came to veiw. "IT CANNOT BE!" I screamed, the grip disappearing from my neck and allowing me to lunge at "The General", knocking him over and under the office desk. I heard the sounds of automatic fire that tore the desk to splinters. I heard a growl and a pain shot up from my foot. I looked at the source and saw the shadow pony had grabbed me with a growl. I kicked him in the face and he released me with an "OW!" as I scrambled to my feet and stumbled to the door where the muffled yell was and crashed through it. I quickly dusted the dust and pain off of me, and looked at a gruesome scene. My squad's lifeless bodies all bloody and mangled. My vision started to shake and all the colors took up a red hue, not like it wasn't already all mostly filled by red. I grabbed a large knife from the table on my right, all covered in blood and licked down the other door, leading to the hallway. I let out a rage filled scream and I sprinted through the hallway, my body all filled up with drugs. I ran towards two guards guarding a door and before they could draw their rifles, knocked them down. I found the weak spot in the body armour. The neck. I ripped through the carbon fiber mesh and also their flesh as I stabbed their necks repeatedly, their blood coating the walls and my clothes. I got up again and returned to running down the halls at full speed. I heard some yells from behind me and turned around to ten guards rounding a corner from the other end of the hallway. They all opened fire and everything slowed down. I saw the pulse bullets fly towards me, and I instinctively dogged to the left, behind a pillar. Everything became the normal speed. I heard the sound of marble breaking and I knew it was the guards. I breathed heavily, my vision regaining the normal colors for a split second then returning to having a red hue each time I breathed in and out. I looked around frantically, seeing no exit. I looked at the window at my left. JUMP! I jumped from my pillar and through the window as the guards got dangerously close. The window shattered, sending me down off the third floor off the castle and into the streets below...

Prologue - Raining Fire1. The Arrival - The Attack (Revised) Chapter One The Arrival Location: Pony Solar System Year: 2993 Date: 7/4 Time: 1200 Click! I awoke to the sound of the cryogenic chamber being opened. I got out and started to choke up water. I saw that the other chambers have started to open. Where the fuck was I? What was this place? Soon, all the water cleared from my system, and I began to think straight. That’s right. I was on a star fighter, heading on to an important mission. I got up shakily, and tried to stand. All around me, my fellow soldiers faced the same problems: nausea, temporary memory loss, vomiting. Good thing I was ok. "Major Briggs!" I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw General Farnsworth. Snapping to attention, I saluted him and said, “Good morning, sir!” The General saluted back, and then relaxed. "At ease, Major." "Have we arrived?" I asked the general. "Yes we have Major. Now get your ass in a suit and follow me." I grabbed a suit from next to me and put it on. Breathing deeply, I slowly eased the helmet over my head, and my sight slowly faded to darkness. I heard it click as it latched on with the rest of the super suit. Suddenly, there was a high pitched beeping noise, and the optical devices came online. The helmet flared with light, and I fell right on my ass. I heard Farnsworth laugh a bit at my reaction, and I just glared at him and flipped him off. As soon as I was used to the suits breathing circuits, I followed the general to the bridge of the spaceship. As much as he and I like to joke, I had to follow his orders. The general is one of if not the most important man on this ship because he is the general of the United Human Race. The world hasn't been decided in countries for over 30 years now. All of its inhabitants were united under one man...and he was the one in front of me. As we arrived at the bridge, I saw that there were many people rushing about, getting weapons and gear ready, and shouting out orders. General Farnsworth turned toward me, his face grim and serious. "Major, you and Thunderbird Squad will deploy on Equestria and find that princess." "Yes sir." I replied, snapping once more to attention. "Get to the Blackhawk AT-50; I assume you know why we're here." He pointed over to the large window of the spaceship. On the other side of the glass and energy shields was a place that all humans had hated and desired with a burning passion. Equestria. Long time ago, Princess Celestia banished the humans from Equestria to a distant world which is Earth because they were jealous of our advancements in technology. Now we are back for revenge. I turned without a word to the general, and headed off to the Blackhawk. I walked down a nearby hall and found myself in the aircraft hangar, where all the fighters were stored. I walked down the row of vehicles until I found the Blackhawk AT-50. I found my squadron, Thunderbird, sitting on a bench next to the Blackhawk. I took a head count; there were seven men, myself included. I saw someone I recognized, and I smiled. "Major Briggs!" My second in command, Captain Norwood called out. “Ready for deployment?” I gave a ruthless grin, and replied promptly. “Aye aye, Captain.” I turned towards the rest of the men, all of whom shared my enthusiasm. "You know why we're here gentlemen. We're here to have a nice chat with the princess that banished the human race from this wonderful world. This was our home as much as it was theirs, and they took it from us. " I addressed them. They all cursed Celestia’s name, and each put a hand on their weapons. “Now, we’re back, and we’re pissed off. We’ve come to take what is ours. Now tell me, are we ready to kick some little pony ass?! "Sir, yes sir!" They bellowed, giving off bloodthirsty cries. "Now double time your sorry asses in the Blackhawk and let's fucking rock and roll!" I screamed, grinning like a madman. Followed my soldiers into the sleek aircraft, and strapped myself in for a ride into history. The Blackhawk deployed from the hangar and went past the airlock. As I sat inside, I couldn’t help but think what a piece of beauty she was. The Blackhawk is a space/air/land hybrid that can deploy onto any terrain. It was fast, so we have arrived at Eqeustria in four hours. Felt like forever, but that's because we were outside of the solar system, and this ship can't have any turbo boosters or hyperdrives. So, I had four hours to think. I looked around at my team, seeing a group of men that I would trust with my life. Captain Norwood. He and I go way back; we grew up together, went through basic together, and graduated from the Academy with each other. He’s saved my ass countless times, and he never let me live that down. Still, he was a good guy. Rookie, rank Staff Sergeant. He was the new kid on the team, fresh out of basic training. I was told that during training, he proved to be a trustworthy soldier. He also graduated from flight training and was the pilot in our squad. In the brief time he and I knew each other before getting into cryostasis, Rookie and I pulled many a prank. He still had a lot to learn, but he’s a quick learner. Dan, rank 2nd Lieutenant. He was the brains of our crew, always figuring ways around problems in seconds. Dan is by far the only man I know who’s been able to speak eight languages, all fluently, have a medical degree. The dude’s a genius when it comes to weapons, and he’s customized countless pieces of gear into unstoppable war machines. He was the scientist of the group. Viper, rank Master Sergeant. Viper was a master of close quarters combat, and always floored the other guys on the mat. Tall and built like a monster, he was pretty much a walking breathing tank. No one could stop the guy if he wanted something done, short of putting a round in his head. Hawkeye, rank Lance Corporal. Hawkeye was our marksman, a definite master of the sniper rifle. He once told me about a time he took off a Taliban fighter’s head with a single shot from a mile and a half away. I didn’t believe him...until he did it again when he and I were together in the Hindu Kush mountains. I learned never to mess with him after that. Shadow, rank Gunnery Segeant. “Gunny”, as we sometimes call him. Shadow was the assassination expert, the man who can kill from two feet, and you wouldn’t hear him. The man was so silent, he was able to sneak up on deer and rabbits. Again, never piss him off. You won’t see him coming. Literally. Finally, there was Tech. The oddball of the group, Tech specialized in exactly what his name implied: technology. This guy could hack any system, and repair any gear. Tech also specialized in high tech weaponry, and as such, had his own custom battle rifle. The reason Captain Norwood, Dan, and I don't have any nick names because of respect because we saved the rest of our squadron's lives. I thought back to the war of unity, where I met the rest of my squadron. Location: Afghanistan, Earth Year: 2961 Date: 4/23 Time: 1300 My squadron and I are running through the battlefield, and there were only three of us left, as the Afghanistan forces resisted the United Human Empire. Me, Captain Norwood, and Dan. We just had to run through one more house to escape the oppressing Afghanistan forces. As we entered the house, I saw four soldiers cornered by ten Afghanistan men. The Afghanistan men had to soldiers' weapons and was about to kill them, and my squadron and I shot the exposed neck of their armour. The Afghanistan men crumpled to the ground. "Thank God! You saved our asses!" The tallest of the four said. "We must MOVE!" Dan yelled at us as the four other soldiers picked up their weapons and we ran out of the house. There was a chopper waiting, with the whir of it's blades, 200 meters from us. "How can we ever repay you for saving us!" The tall one said to us, grateful for saving his friends and him. "How about do nothing." I grinned. The chopper took off, and a rocket hit the chopper. Captain Norwood the four soldiers we saved off the chopper, along with me and Dan. As soon as we jumped out, the chopper exploded, it's shrapnel raining around us. "Holy shit man! You guys saved all of us once again!" A different soldier praised. "It's my duty." Captain Norwood replied bluntly. We had to run 500 meters to the shore, where armoured ships sat at the shore, waiting for our retreating forces. Dan pushed one of the soldiers as an IED went off where he was standing just moments before. We heard pulse shots behind us as the Afghanistan forces tried to stop us from escaping. I heard explosives and the peppering sounds of the suppressive fire behind us as we ran through the wet sand to the ships. The ships started to undock and the huge hangar doors started to close. I yelled, "JUMP!" And we all jumped through the gap in the huge hangar door just in time. Later, we were formed into a squad, and the four soldiers respected us ever since. Present Time We arrived at the planet. I looked over to Captain Norwood, and he nodded. He leaned forward and pushed a button. We slowly began our descent... Suddenly, the Blackhawk shook, and we all were thrown around. "WARNING LEFT ENGINE GONE." The ship started to blare out as an alert. "Damn magic." Rookie said to our copilot as he tried to regain balance. "Shit, shit, SHIT! We gotta get our wing suits and jump!" He yelled at us as he left the pilot’s seat. We hastily put on our wing suits and Rookie opened the hangar. I was the first to jump out, and was soon followed by the rest of my squad. I tucked my arms in and we descended towards a village. We stabilised over the village and we got into a V formation, with me at the front and we activated our boosters. We sped up faster and faster, and soon and we broke the sound barrier and flew down to the village. A Little Ago Twilight Sparkle walked the streets of Ponyville, carrying important papers in her mouth when she saw a glint in the sky. Curious, she looked up into the sky, squinting her eyes to try and get a better look at the tiny shape. When the glint came closer she realized that it was seven black shapes, and without warning, they broke the sound barrier above her. The sonic booms bursted in the sky, blasting away all the clouds in the area. Moments after she saw the sonic boom, a loud noise struck Ponyville and it made her papers fall out of her mouth. The Present We activated our parachutes as we sped past the village, landing on the edge of a forest. We walked towards the village. Our parachutes and wingsuits retracted into the suit’s jetpack system. Getting up, I held up a signal, asking the rest of my team if they were alright. They signalled back, giving me the all clear. Nodding, I stood up and started walking eagerly towards the village. As soon as we neared the village, I heard a loud crash and a huge fireball behind us. I smiled as I heard the shrieks of the little ponies. Hm. I suppose it isn’t everyday that a huge spaceship crashes near your village, and eight strange creatures stroll into town. Many ponies were frozen in place as we walked among them. Once we reached the town square, we stopped, and ponies gathered all around, curious despite their fear. I held out a hand towards one of them, a mint green unicorn. She timidly walked towards me, and as she neared, allowed me to pet her on the head. I smiled, and promptly smacked her aside, sending her flying into the crowd. Chaos broke out, and they tried to run away. No, we couldn’t have that. I lifted up my blaster and fired a shot. It rang throughout the village, silencing the cowering equines. I lifted my visor smirked, and yelled at the top of my lungs, "WE'RE FUCKING BACK PONIES!!! MISSED US?????" They only shrunk back even more, their eyes filled with fear. "After one thousand years of waiting, we are back! Back for REVENGE!" I shot my blaster into the air once more, causing them to shiver back once more. "Now please, tell us, where are is your fucking princess? We’d like a ‘word’ with her." I smirked, knowing fully that our ‘word’ probably included shooting down the tyrant that exiled us. Suddenly, a cyan pegasus flew up to us and got in my face. "AND, Who are YOU?" I didn't even bother to reply. I just set my pulse gun to stun and shot her. She went flying 100 meters back and stared in shock. "I can't move my body! WHAT DID YOU DO?" She yelled at us. "You are temporarily paralysed." Dan, the scientist in our group said. He smiled at her, a cold harsh smile. “Don’t worry, you’re not dead...yet.” A pegasus went flying in our direction, but I just punched it right in the face, sending it 200 feet away from us. Emboldened by the attempts of their friends, they all started to crowd around us and to fight us. I simply laughed as their hooves hit our suits, banging against the armor; it was made of Tandolium, an advanced metal lighter than a feather and yet tougher than dragon scales. In other words, their hooves didn't even scratch us. They all started piling on top of Viper, but he just curled into a ball and suddenly jumped up, where all the ponies went flying off of him. A pony had a 2x4 and smacked Hawkeye's armour. The 2x4 just broke in half and Hawkeye took out his pistol and shot the pony. The ponies didn't notice that, and kept on piling on top of us, blocking out the sky and sun and making it a all around claustrophobic event. "We gotta go!" I heard Shadow yell in the comms. We activated our wing suits, flying away from the ponies. Some ponies were clinging on us, but we just shook them off and they fell to their deaths. I could see around six ponies running away from the village. We landed in the forest from earlier, and I attempted to radio the Spaceship. "General! Ponies ARE HOSTILE. Repeat, PONIES ARE HOSTILE." I radioed to the Ship. "Are you away?" The general asked. "Yes, they tried to pile on us and fight us, but we flied away." I replied. "Mark your target, we are sending Robin wing right away." He directed. I looked at Tech, the strategy and tech expert in the squad. He nodded and used his marker, a tablet of sorts. "This is Robin wing, we have received your target." I heard a crackle in my comm. I looked up and saw a wing of airships that flew past us. "Dropping the bombs." I heard Robin one of Robin wing radio in. I saw some bombs falling on the village, creating a huge fireball where the village once was. "Positive effects, flying back to mother ship." I heard Robin wing radio in. I saw a dark cloud in the distance, then noticed that that cloud was a huge swarm of Pegasi that flew after Robin wing. The swarm caught up to Robin wing with amazing speed, and started to engulf the Robin wing. "WE'RE HIT, WE'RE HIT!" I heard Robin one radio in. I saw the swarm pass us and saw Robin wing crashing down and exploding on the ground. "Godspeed Robin wing, Godspeed." I heard Shadow say. "Robin wing is down, they were hit by a swarm of Pegasi after dropping the bombs on the village." I radioed to the general. "This means TOTAL WAR." I the General say. Five minutes later, I heard a dropship come. It is literally a large hanger as a small spacecraft, and landed 200 meters away from us. The large door started to open. "Brigadier General Tomson!" I said as we walked towards him. "Major Briggs, nice to see you." He said as we walked towards him. I saw that the trucks began to deploy. "You and squad Thun-" He was caught off as a red Pegasus tackled him from bushes next to him. Viper reached for his gun and swiftly shot the Pegasus in the head, sending it to the left. Brigadier General Thomson continued, "As I was saying Squad Thunderbird along with ten other men will be in charge of arresting the rulers of Equestria and transporting them to here." "SIR YES SIR!" We replied. We arrived where the ten men were waiting for us. They all stood up and followed us. The general said, "There's this big castle. We presume that's where the rulers of Equestria must stay." "Alrighty then! LETS ROCK FUCKING ROLL!" I yelled to the men as we mounted speeders, shooting off and floating on land as we headed towards that castle the general explained was the capital city, and the Princess' only fortification...
1. The Arrival2. The Slaughter - The Attack (Revised) Chapter Two The Slaughter I saw the castle loom over us, as we approached it. I put up a hand, signalling for my squadron and the other ten soldiers to stop. Our speeders stopped to a full halt. I took out my binoculars and looked at the gate of the castle. There were ten guards guarding it, must've been more security since we attacked Ponyville. I smirked. Nothing can stop us and our powerful technology. "This is the plan. We sneak to the gates, with the transparent camouflage that lasts a few minutes, and then crack the heads of the guards there." I planned. "I'll stay here." Hawkeye said to us as he set up his sniper nest. We sneaked through the trees, and we followed Shadow's lead. When he activated his invisible camouflage, we all did also. We were in position behind the guards. One of the guards scratched his head with a hoof. I looked at Hawkeye in his sniper's nest. He was under some leaves and had his special robotic camoflauge set to foliage camouflage. I could see the look in his eyes, one that was hungry for blood. We snapped the guards' necks like a twig. The snap was louder than expected. "Damnit." I said as a lot more guards looked over the wall. The guards leaped from the wall, stumbling and landing in front of us. I tapped one on it's shoulder. It looked behind him, confused, not seeing anything. I could see them sweating. I whispered into the comms. "Kill em'." I heard the silenced fire of Hawkeye's sniper rifle as he took out three of the guards. They looked around, frantically, not seeing where the attacker was. We all turned off our camouflage and opened fire with our pulse guns. The big gate door behind us opened. I saw five guards looking at us. We ran towards them, and opened fire. We heard the shrieks and screams from the ponies that were "civilised". We ran into the city, shooting down hordes of guards. It was total chaos. Ponies flying everywhere, and magic auras exploding everywhere. I looked down at my feet as I saw crossbow bolts impaling themselves into the ground. I looked forward and saw guards that were shooting at me with their crossbows. I dashed up to them and smashed them which a sickening crack. I shot the rest that evaded my blow. A pony that had armour that was half purple and half gold appeared out of nowhere with a magical 'poof!' The pony was a stallion with a white horn, coat, and dark and light blue mane and tail. The pony looked like a captain. Shadow appeared from thin air behind him, and stabbed him in the back. The captain crumpled to the ground as Shadow took his knife out of it's back and disappeared with his fully invisible camouflage, which lasted shorter than the transparent one. "We have to approach the castle!" I yelled into the comms as I sprinted through the streets torwards the castle. "Roger that, ETA two minutes." I heard Shadow say. The castle loomed in front of me, and I met the rest of the squad and the ten soldiers there. We pushed the door that let into the castle but it wouldn't budge. "Great to know they have common sense." I said to myself. I nodded at Rookie and he placed breaching charges on the door. "Clear!" I yelled as I detonated the charges, facing away from the door and to the side, hunching over. The door exploded with metal flying everywhere outside, but our suits protected us. Viper ran through the mass of metal. My jaw dropped as I saw him dropping ponies and killing them with his bare hands. He is a human tank. We followed behind him, and we looked for any place that looked like a throne room. We plowed through mobs of ponies, shooting them down as we did. We saw two decorated doors, one was decorated as if it were the sun, and the other the moon and the stars. Rookie placed more charges on the wall. "Clear!" I yelled as I detonated the charges. We burst through the hole in the doors, and we saw two princesses along with six mares. "Ahh, Princess. We are back. It was a big mistake banishing us from this planet and destroying our technology. Such a shame you puny little ponies wouldn't embrace technology and advance with us. You, without reason, kicked us out out of jealousy towardsour power and technology" I said in my most villainous voice. "Who ya'll callin' puny?" A orange pony with a Stetson hat asked. "Quiet you!" Tech barked as he shot the pony with a power shot, just for blasting someone back a few meters. The pony flew back and hit the wall, knocked out. "Now, you will comply with us or you'll be killed." I ordered. They just took a fighting stance and I laughed. "Ok, Just to make this fair, I will do hand to 'hoof' combat with you, versus all of you." Shadow and Viper complained and pouted. "But we wanted to do that." "Next guards we see you can do that, but stand down for now." I said as I got in a fighting stance. They all charged, thinking that they could do something if they charged all at once, but my armour has gravity mode where I can't be knocked over. "Jarvis, gravity mode." "Yes master." My suit's AI, Jarvis, replied. They all crashed into me and were dazed. I took the chance and I deactivated gravity mode. "Gravity mode off." I brought my foot down kicked with all my might, a orange pony that yelped in pain as she went flying towards the wall and made a small crack as the smashed against it. A flying cyan pegasus punched my armour as hard as she can, "You don't hurt my friends!", but I saw her wince as she felt that she just hit hard metal. Annoyed, I grabbed those wings and cracked them, making a sickening *CRACK!* the pony screamed in pain, "AAAAAAAGHH!", and I threw it took the floor, sending her sliding to where the orange pony was, still conscious. During each of my single fights, I didn't feel them topple me over anyways because they couldn't hit my armour hard enough, so I was oblivious to their attacks. Nor magic was effective, I had magic dampeners in my armour. A purple one, a white one, and the two princesses charged up a magic beam in their horns. They shot it at me, but it was deflected right off the armour, since we do have magic dampeners that we found out how to make ever since we scanned the planet, which was even before I woke up. I used the dash feature of my armour, thrusters at the back of my arms, back, and legs. I got to the white princess and I slapped her as hard as I could. 'Sometimes I just have to smack a bitch.' She crumpled to the floor, and the blue princess got enraged "HOW DARE THOU HURT OUR SISTER!" She barrelled into me, but I brushed her off. I slammed a kick into her underside and she crumpled. I saw the remaining three cowering in fear in a corner. I heard horror music as I approached them slowly. The white and yellow one got behind the lavender one, and the yellow one wrapped her wings around the white one. The lavender one charged up a magic beam. "I will spare you, but you will be locked in here. Consider this mercy. I have specific orders to take the white one with wings and a horn. It doesn't matter if you escape." I simply said to them. I saw the big white one stand up and try to escape through the window. I heard the loud rings as the suppressed fire of Hawkeye's sniper rifle shot the white princesses' legs. It was a stunning round, as real rounds would be a lot louder even if it was suppressed. "Princess Celestia! NO!" The lavender unicorn yelled. Viper grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, he was taller than her. Celestia just hung her head down in defeat, and was guided by Shadow from the castle. "General! We have the white Princess, but a dark blue princess and six mares that are important to them are still in there." I radioed the General. "They are of no importance." He replied with malice in his voice. "Excecute the white Princess in front of all the citizens." "W-What sir?" I asked, surprised by his request. He just ignored me and replied, "We are sending men over there." I heard static as he didn't say anything else. We walked out of the castle and into the town square. Viper shot his gun into the air, which was really loud. "CITIZENS OF CANTERLOT! HERE IS YOUR PRINCESS!" My voice boomed through the streets. The ponies stopped running in confusion and stared at us. I pushed the princess to her knees and put my gun to her head. There were no guards to stop me, as we killed most of them in our invasion, and the rest just gave up and sat down because they knew they lost. Celestia knocked the gun out of my hand with one of her hooves. Captain Norwood took out his pistol and he asked, "Any last words? 'Princess?'" He spat. "Yes; I will not die my ponies! You will see me in the future!" "Nonsense." Captain Norwood said as he fired. Instead of her head blowing apart, at least It stayed intact. I checked her pulse, dead. The ponies didn't avenge their ruler because they know they will loose and they were demoraled by the death of their ruler. I smiled with malice and I heard drop ships approaching the city. I pushed the body onto the ground and we turned around to face the ships that we approaching. The ships landed outside the city, and men came into the city. Me and my squad dismissed the ten men that aided us, and we walked through the crowd of ponies and soldiers. Hawkeye joined us and we walked out of the city like total badasses. I walked forward the general who was waiting for us at a ship. "Have you executed the princess?" He asked. "Yes we have." I replied with a bit of remorse in my voice for killing Celestia, even though it was for revenge. "Good. Now go patrol the streets of Canterlot and round up the ponies." The General ordered. I saw the other men capturing the ponies that were escaping from Canterlot. We walked back into the city. My squad and I captured most of the guards along with other soldiers, and I found the captain of the guard that Shadow stabbed in the back, laying on the ground. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Shadow asked. "Buck off." The captain replied. Viper kicked him in the chest. "You have a big mouth don't you?" Viper asked teasingly. "You're coming with us to the dungeons of this wretched castle." I told him as my squad an I hauled him off to the castle. We pulled the captain to the dungeons, to his new home. I opened the door to a cell and threw him in there. I locked the cell, making sure I locked it so he wouldn't use magic to escape. "You won't get away with this!" He yelled at us. I threw a roll of gauze for him to patch up his wound. "Oh fuck yes we will." I sneered at him. We walked out of the dungeons, regrouping with other soldiers to finish rounding up the civilians

I looked at my watch as I waited my turn for a meeting with the General. My whole a squad had to have a one on one meeting with him today. I tapped my right foot on the ground impatiently as I waited my turn. I averted my gaze from my watch to Shadow who was sharpening his knife with another knife. He calls one Betsy and the other one Slaughter. I don't see the logic in sharpening a knife with another... I lightly shrugged and looked at the vast white expanse that is a ceiling as I entered the Land of Nod. Briggs, wake up! Wake up! I heard very faintly. Wake up! WAKE UP! A voice screamed in my ear. "Wha!- I ain't got no PILLS!" I exclaimed in surprise as I woke up from my dream and everything rushed into view. I saw Hawkeye standing in front of my seat. "It's your turn." He grunted. I made a little grunt as I stood up and picked up my bag, turning to the door next to me and opening it slowly but it still made loud creaking and groaning sounds. I stepped inside, and heard a muffled sound. My gaze immediately snapped to the right wall, where a door was slammed shut. What was that?! ....Maybe a figment of my imagination.... The office was brightly lit but darkly furnished, creating anonimous effect. I saw the General sitting behind a desk. I sat downt in the seat across him, the wood making a loud creak. The General cleared his throat and began to talk, his chair slightly swaying sideways and with his hands making a triangle pointed at me. "We have to talk about something very serious." He said in his rough voice. Shit. "You and your squad are excused of your positions. I require no more need from this squad. The other squad members have been... Relieved... Let's say, of their position. You shall recieve an reward." "Go on." I said sadly and quietly. "That reward is death." I immediately stood up from my chair, the chair moving backwards a few feet from my abrupt movement. I heard the distinct sound of guards pointing their weapons at me, their rifles making a high pitched whine. "Goodbye, Briggs. See you in hell." His form warped and was enveloped in black fire, only to reveal a dark coated PONY with a red jagged horn and green and purple eyes that have pure malice in them. Before I could even move my arm, he gripped me around my throat with dark magic that suffocated me. I grabbed at my neck as I was lifted up and my vision started fading to black. My vision started to get blurry but cleared up to a veiw of a dark and desolate landscape. Fires burned around me, turning the grass to ash and the trees to charcoal. I heard the sound of guns firing around me, and I looked around. The clouds were dark black and suffocated the light of day, the only light being from the fires and the dimmed light that filtered through the clouds. Where... Where am I!? That question was immediately answered by a loud thunder that shook the earth, and a large shadow in the shape of a snake crashing into the earth and swiping soldiers off their legs. A dark shadow formed into a face that resembled the pony thing that the General morphed into. Tendrils of... Shadow matter... started to fill the sky followed by a deep and distorted laugh that rumbled through the atmosphere. The scene changed. I saw a whole city get quickly engulfed by shadow and the inhabitants grow a halo of shadow around their heads. Their eyes turned to green and purple irises and pupils, while they marched in unison. Factories started to produce in maximum speed, and the same bone-chilling laugh was heard. My memories came back to me and I knew everything now. The shadow-pony took over our minds and made us suffer without notice, taking the form of General Farnsworth and forcing us to invade a innocent world full of happiness and peace. Only to get his revenge. No. This can't be. No. I killed... Innocent pe-ponies? Happy ones bouncing around with rainbows and sugar? WHAT? NO IT CANNOT BE! The scene melted away, and the bright office came to veiw. "IT CANNOT BE!" I screamed, the grip disappearing from my neck and allowing me to lunge at "The General", knocking him over and under the office desk. I heard the sounds of automatic fire that tore the desk to splinters. I heard a growl and a pain shot up from my foot. I looked at the source and saw the shadow pony had grabbed me with a growl. I kicked him in the face and he released me with an "OW!" as I scrambled to my feet and stumbled to the door where the muffled yell was and crashed through it. I quickly dusted the dust and pain off of me, and looked at a gruesome scene. My squad's lifeless bodies all bloody and mangled. My vision started to shake and all the colors took up a red hue, not like it wasn't already all mostly filled by red. I grabbed a large knife from the table on my right, all covered in blood and licked down the other door, leading to the hallway. I let out a rage filled scream and I sprinted through the hallway, my body all filled up with drugs. I ran towards two guards guarding a door and before they could draw their rifles, knocked them down. I found the weak spot in the body armour. The neck. I ripped through the carbon fiber mesh and also their flesh as I stabbed their necks repeatedly, their blood coating the walls and my clothes. I got up again and returned to running down the halls at full speed. I heard some yells from behind me and turned around to ten guards rounding a corner from the other end of the hallway. They all opened fire and everything slowed down. I saw the pulse bullets fly towards me, and I instinctively dogged to the left, behind a pillar. Everything became the normal speed. I heard the sound of marble breaking and I knew it was the guards. I breathed heavily, my vision regaining the normal colors for a split second then returning to having a red hue each time I breathed in and out. I looked around frantically, seeing no exit. I looked at the window at my left. JUMP! I jumped from my pillar and through the window as the guards got dangerously close. The window shattered, sending me down off the third floor off the castle and into the streets below...
