A small cream pony looked upon a giant building a wiped the sweat of her forehead. She turned to the construction workers beside her. Then simply smiled, “we’ve done it guys, we’ve made my dream come true.”
They all were pretty proud. Looking at the small cottage type house in the colourful villas of ponyville was kind of odd. But they all knew the feeling would fade. Afterall it is a café, and no matter how a café looks, everyone will love it.
The cream pony then walked in front of the workers, as if to command them and cheered, “Free chocolate mousse for everyone!”
Construction workers cheered at this remark. Many of the locals attention was drawn to the cottage. Including the famous Fluttershy, who probably wanted to file a noise complaint? But the first thing these locals noticed was a loosely hanging sloppy, hoof painted sign with the words, ‘piece of pie.’
RRRIIIINNNGGGG
A cream pony shifted from her minky pink bed. Yawning endlessly, as she rolled around to face her clock her glazed eyes lit up. The time was 9:00am, the café was supposed to start it’s first day. At once she flung off her bed and raced downstairs wishing that there were no customers. Despite her bedhead she flung through the door of her kitchen, raced to the stand while muttering ‘crap.’ This wasn’t going well.
As she hit the door she groaned, finally noticing talking. Her eyes flashed awake as she entered her antique themed café. There were two ponies chatting away.
One was cream with blue and pink mane. The mark upon her flank was two wrapped candies. Her eyes were glazed over as she nodded to her friends chatter.
Meanwhile her friend was chatting away, her blue mane bobbing on her words. A lyre on her flank, she guessed she played a lyre. From afar the cream pony guessed they were friends.
So she wandered over with a smile, “Welcome to Piece Of Pie. May I take your order?”
The two ponies stopped their conversation and stared at her for a minute. Wondering who was speaking to them.
“You’re the new pony right? You’re the one who opened this place!” the blue pony, Lyra, explained.
The cream pony shyly nodded. “Yep… that’s me.”
“Your also the one that kept me awake last night with that party!” Bonbon rubbed her head. Her head was numb and busy from the sleepless night.
The cream pony knew where she was coming from. So she told them she was going to get something, she trotted to the food counter and brought out a custard tart. She then brought it back to the friends and gave Bonbon the tart.
She perked up at the sight of the dessert. “I can’t have this.”
“Why not?” the cream pony shrugged, “after all I did keep you up.”
“We don’t even know your name!” Lyra chirped in.
The cream pony smiled. “My name’s Victoria, Victoria Cream.”
