Sunset Shimmer ran away from Celestia, telling her mentor that she could pursue her own path and succeed. That led her into the human world, where she became a dominating celebrity and bullying figure at Canterlot High for more than two years. However, Twilight Sparkle pursued her into the human world to reclaim her Element of Magic from Sunset Shimmer. After Twilight had foiled Sunset Shimmer's plans to take over Equestria, Sunset tries to make up for the actions she made throughout her life. And then she moves on….

This had started as short epilogue to Equestria Girls. Now I'm making it a short set of stories following Shimmer in the human world and her eventual return to Equestria. Plus I know this story and other Sunset Shimmer fictions share some similar ideas - But I'm trying to be as original as possible here.
