Tom is used to life on the road. All he knows is being tossed around between relatives ever year. 8 different schools in 10 grades has to be a record. So when he arrives in New York to live with his millionaire uncle, Blackpine Grove seemed to be just another school to him. But there's always the hope that things might be different.

Avery on the other has lived out her whole life in West Plains, NY. Despite being a soccer star at her Middle school she was the second choice keeper at Blackpine Grove HS behind their legendary senior goalie during her freshman year. Now a sophomore, Avery wants to take BGHS by storm. Her schoolwork on the other hand… not as hot. Neither is her social standing

Surely you all know Twilight, the last character of this saga. You guys do right? Well I'm not going to give any backstory. (Keep in mind this takes place before the events of the season 3 finale). Celestia first learned of Earth years ago when an experimental mishap transported her there. She managed to get back quickly though and resolved to just shrug it off. Now though, after working with Discord she has reopened to the idea of contacting Earth in case of emergency and has even opened a portal. Twilight, Celestia decided, would be the test subject. In the guise of a way to further her friendship studies, the princess sent her to Earth to learn about their society. The location just happened to be White Plains, NY.

Each has his/her own story, will they intertwine though? You have to read to find out.

If you had asked me a year ago what I would doing now, I would have had no idea of the situation I’m in. Heck, knowing my life, I couldn’t even tell what state I might be living in. There’s no way I could have possibly predicted that on May 3 of 2014 I would be sitting on a metal bench, staring at the cold steel bars of The West Plains Juvenile Penitentiary. No I could not. Now how did I get here you might ask. What the hell did I do? Nothing to be honest. But it’s a long story.

I looked across the cell, over at Avery. Wait you don’t even know who Avery is yet. Well she’s quite possibly my best friend and part of the reason that I sit here now. She still hadn’t moved. For the last five hours that the two of you were in this cell she maintained her soulless stare across the cell at the bricks of the back wall. Her dark brown hair was a mess and her eyes seemed to be lifeless orbs that just drained my energy the longer I looked into them. I shifted my gaze back to the bars. The hallway seemed so cold and gray. Compared to the cell though, which was nothing but a brick hole with two benches, it seemed like heaven. I lifted my arms up behind my head and lean back, staring at the ceiling, half cursing her and half cursing myself. Why… why now. How could this happen now. God dammit Avery look at me! This is going nowhere! Five hours and who knows how many more! I didn’t even do anything! Well ok fine I kind of did… But still! Wait but what will happen to you? No doubt she’ll get ten times the punishment I do. And the match… what about the match. That’s the day after tomorrow! Okay, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have left you hanging. Why are the two of us sitting in this god forsaken jail cell? Well it’s a long story. A story that starts at Blackpine Grove High School. A story that starts with two girls. But wait. Let me first relate all that happened before I arrived at Blackpine Grove.

I was born in Atlanta Georgia about sixteen years ago. My dad was an ex marine. My mom... well I don’t really know much about her. She left when I was four years old. Anyways. I lived with my dad in some Atlanta suburb until I turned eight. That’s when he fell ill. Some people decided my dad wasn’t fit to care for me so they sent me off to live with his sister in Memphis Tn. He died a few months later in the hospital. No one ever told what from. Just that he was sick. I don’t remember much, just that he was always there for me. Enough of that though. It was then that my life as I know it started. My aunt’s family was nice enough. They didn’t have any other kids but they did have a cat. I liked the cat. I lived with them for about a year before they figured I was too much of a burden. A few days later I was on a plane for LA where my Grandparents lived. I guess they were ok. They barely even acknowledged my presence though. I didn’t mind it. I grew accustomed to the neglect. Learned to fly under the raider which would help me alot in the future. I was with them for about two years. Soon after the end of fifth grade they grew tired of paying for me as well and sent me off the some other relative. The rest is really all blurred together. Spend a grade with one family and then get shipped off to the next. At least my dad had a large family. Most of the time no one really cared. They just fed me and provided me a place to stay and go to school. I never really made any friends either. I guess that’s what happens when you live me. It wasn’t all bad though. It gave me a sense of independence and a tough composure. I finished off ninth grade staying with my dad’s cousin in Minnesota. She was really nice and we did some cool things like see a Vikings game and go to an aquarium. Too bad that had to end as she just didn’t have to financial capability to care for her two sons as well as me. This was one year ago. In June she drove me to my next lodging: my dad’s oldest cousin. All I knew of him was that he apparently headed a huge company and was a multimillionaire. It sounded promising. I guess now money wouldn’t be an issue. Perhaps I could settle down. Perhaps thing would be different.

Well that’s my backstory. Now let me tell you why I’m in jail.
