Chapters The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Equestrian Version
Location: Canterlot castle. Time; 1:19 p.m.
The castle hallway was bustling with guards as a stallion with black hair and a navy blue trench coat walked down the hallway. Beside him, was another stallion. But this stallion seemed to be different from the other. Besides the blonde hair and grey coat, he seemed excited to be at the castle. As they walked down the hallway, they seemed to have a mental conversation. When they got to the door, the pony in the blue trench coat turned to the other pony.
"Why are you following me sir. Is your profession as being a doctor just not paying enough, or is it girlfriend trouble as can be told by the smear of lipstick on your neck, or is it stress which can be told by the twiching of your wings." said the pony as the door to the room they both were, both of them, seemed to be going to see the one person in the room: Mycroft.
"Welcome, Mr. Holmes. I have something to ask you. Why did you slap the chief officer?" asked Mycroft as she walked to The pony in a blue trench coat.
"Well, sister, he accused a pony of a crime that, clearly, couldn't be handled by that pony. He was a the drug dealer, but wasn't the killer. The killer had a size 6 hoof, while he had a size 7. And the dealer wrecked of alcohol and fish, while the crime was over in the far west side of town. Why didn't anyone else slap him is the real question." said Sherlock as if he knew everything.
"And this is the reason I hired Dr. Watson for you. Your behavior has been reaching ears of everypony, and it's not easy covering your tracks. So now, Dr. Watson," she points to the other pony from earlier, "Sherlock is your responsibility."
Dr. Watson walked over to Mindcraft, " Umm, Ms. Mycroft, I don't think this will work."
"Oh Dr. Watson, just give it a few hours and you'll be fine. Or maybe a week. Well, better follow him." She pointed to the door and saw that Sherlock was walking away.
"Holmes, wait up!" said Watson as he trotted after Sherlock.
Location: 221B Baker Street. Time: 2:15
Baker street was bustling with ponies. There was ponies were selling and buying food or books, unicorns painting the walls of a house, and some pegesus were putting roof shingles on the house across the street. As Watson walked to the house where Sherlock seemed to have entered, he noticed the address: 221B. Watson walked inside to see a nice elderly mare sweeping the hallway.
"Excuse me, did a Sherlock Holmes walking here?" asked Watson as he looked around. The hallway had a stair case leading to another floor. but on the other side of the staircase, the hallway looked lively with colors bursted out of the art hung on every inch of the hallway.
"Oh, your the Doctor that he was talking about, yes he lives upstairs. First door to your left. Oh and tell him his renis to be paid soon." said the elderly mare as she pointed up stairs with the broom.
Watson walked up the stairs to see that the door to his left was wide open. He walked inside and saw that there were notes tied up on yarn all over the room. Watson noticed one of the notes on the floor and flipped it over. He read the note: If you can make it through to the kitchen, you can live here. signed S H.
Watson laid on the floor and started to army crawl to the Kitchen, When he got to the living room, he noticed a violin case on the floor. Watson looked up and saw that Sherlock had shelves of books. The bookcases were on both sides of his fireplace, which on top of it held a mirror and a smoking pipe. Watson got to a part of the room where he could stand and he saw what the room had. There was a couch by the windows on the west side of the room, and on the other side of the door was a open way to the kitchen. There were two chairs that seemed to be circled around the fireplace. Watson looked into the kitchen and saw that someone had placed a tray of tea and muffins.
"That must have been the lady from downstairs before the string went up." said Watson as he started to army crawl again.
When Watson got to the kitchen, he stood up and saw Sherlock was standing at the island in the middle of the room, "You could have went through the door but I like your perseverance and willing to go through the route least taken. Welcome to your new home, Dr. Watson." said Sherlock as he stuck out his hoof.
"Please call me Watson." said Watson as he shock Sherlock's hoof.
"Well, lets go. There's been a murder and the police would like to see me, or rather ask for me, in fifteen minuets so lets go. Grab a jacket." said Sherlock as he ran out the door. Watson saw that there was a grey coat on the table and there was a note in it. Good to have you Dr. Watson. S H.

Chapter 2: There First Adventure.
Location: Canterlot Guard(Scotland Yard) Time; 3:49 p.m.
"What do we have Sherlock?" asked Watson as he saw Sherlock working in the lab.
"A murder. But what I want to look at before we go is this: a blood sample from the other crime." said Sherlock as he looked at the sample under the microscope.
"You mean the one with the fish druger?" asked Watson as he started to browse the blood sample reports.
"That's the one. His blood type was A-, but as you can see in the report, the blood found that was not the victim's, was O+. See the problem. They said that it may have came from someone else, but I'm dubious about that." said Sherlock as he leaned away from the microscope.
"WHERE"S SHERLOCK?" yelled a voice from outside the lab. Watson and Sherlock turned to the door as it busted open. There stood a grey unicorn with brown hair and a blue shirt with the royal guard symbol on the left chest pocket."Well, Sherlock, seems you have a new assistant. That makes eight since you started to help the force. now get those flanks running and get to the crime scene."
Location: Northside of Canterlot, Apartment number 276. time: 4:03 p.m.
"Apparently, the neighbor was on there way to work when they noticed the door open, that when they saw this." said the grumpy grey unicorn as they walked pass the crime line.
"This pony sure loved her cats. Almost as much as she seemed to love the color pink." said Watson as he saw some other police officers carry cages with cats in them. When they walked into the room, Sherlock walked to the victim.
"What do we know about her?" asked Sherlock as he started to roll her over.
"Well her name is Star Flyer, she was 25, had no kids, she had 9 cats, and was a reporter of a newspaper called the Manehatten Star." The inspector turned to Watson,"So, your Sherlock's new buddy. Sorry for yelling at you two earlier, my name is Lestrade.And your name must be Dr. Watson. Mindcraft told me that Sherlock would have a new buddy, but a doctor."
"If you are done, I need Watson over here. Now." said Sherlock as he held a piece of paper.
"What is it Holmes?" asked Watson as he came over to Sherlock.
"Didn't the inspector tell us that she didn't have any kids, then who is Madaline?" asked Sherlock as he handed the note to Watson.
"Maybe it was one of her cats. But why would someone bring there cats from there home, if there were only going to stay for a few days?" Watson turned and saw Sherlock was looking at the window.
"Watson, don't you see this?" asked Sherlock as he started to tap on the window "Someone is trying to cover there tracks. Someone get me a hammer, and pen and paper, please."
As the inspector left to get the request for Sherlock, Sherlock ran to get a chair, "Watson some help please." struggled Sherlock as he strained at pulling the chair to the window.
"okay? and why are we bringing a chair to the window?" asked Watson as they set down the chair.
"It's not a window, it's a door." said Sherlock as he kicked the chair against the window. Only the chair broke as it shattered to pieces. "Don't you see the paint smears and the drops of paint leading into the room?"
When the inspector came back, he saw Sherlock and Watson opening the door. "How did that get there?" asked inspector Lestrade as he walked over to Sherlock.
"It's been there the whole time. I noticed it when we came in. The building over the way is billowing smoke, while in this artwork it is resting. This is the way that the killer made it in and out without the neighbor knowing. And the cats aren't the victims, you can see where she had a reaction to the fur on her left hoof near the shoulder, and the scratch marks on the other side of the door. Someone hand me a flashlight."
"Sherlock, where are we going?" asked Watson as they made there way up the stairs.
"Where ever these stairs lead us to." replied Sherlock as they stopped' "And here we are."
They opened the door to see that they were in a wine cellar. There were barrels everywhere, but a small light could be made out a little bit away. There was a figure by the fire laughing as if a funny joke was just told. Watson and Sherlock were about to ask for help when the figure started to talk.
"First it was drug dealer, it was an accident but the thrill of the kill was exciting. Then that reporter, she said that I could trust her, but she was about to call the police. If only those cats didn't follow me, I could have seen what happened." the figure turned and saw Sherlock and Watson.
"You're under arrest." said Watson as he walked to the figure.
"Watson, Duck." yelled Sherlock as the figure pulled out a gun. The figure started to hold the gun, shacking. He started to back away to the door when the inspector came up. Then the pony ran out the door. Sherlock was the first to chase after him, who was followed by Watson.
They ran into the street and started to look for the runner. The saw the runner, all they saw was that he was a unicorn. They started to chase after him. They started to chase him into a hospital. He ran to the staircase, and so did Sherlock and Watson. They chased him to the roof. There they stood waiting for the other to make a move.
"Try shooting us." said Sherlock as he started to walk to the unicorn,"You're not a killer. The only reason for the reporter's death was the cats, not you. The drug dealer's death was by drowning, not killed. Your no killer, so quite acting like one."
"No, I am. I was hired to kill them. I pushed the drug dealer into the river, I lead the cats to the reporter's room. I was hired by a Moriarty." Then a gunshot echoed from above the streets. Watson did what seemed like instinct, lay low and army crawled to Sherlock, who too, went to the ground.
"Sherlock?" asked Watson as he got up to Sherlock.
"I'm fine." Then they looked at the runner. "But he isn't." Watson crawled to the runner and tried to help him till the police and nurses came from the floor below them.
Location: Centeral Canterlot hospital entry. Time; 7:32 p.m.
"Well Watson, seems like we have another mystery to solve." said Sherlock as they started to walk back to Baker street.
"The first day working with you and you call this normal? Now there's no way you'll get me to leave now." said Watson as he buttoned his coat, "Now lets find out about this Moriarty."
"Here starts the first, of many, more cases and dangers Watson."

Chapter 3: Who is Moritarty?
Location: 221B Baker street. Time; 6:42 a.m.
"Watson, what are you doing?" asked Sherlock as he walked to Watson. Watson was on a computer trying to type on it.
"Going to try to write our stories." said Watson as he kept typing on the computer.
Sherlock walked besides him. "Well, I have one word to say to that: No." Sherlock pulled a cord and that seemed to cause the computer screen to turn black. "I don't want popularity."
"Well, it would be for the better, I don't think I could type even a sentence." said Watson as he walked to the kitchen for some tea and muffins. "By the way, why don't you want popularity? I mean, wouldn't that give you more clients?"
"It's not the clients, more then the people that want me dead. If you haven't found out yet, some ponies don't really like me. They say I have a big ego, I don't, I'm just smarter then some of them." said Sherlock as he sat next to Watson.
Just then the phone started to ring, Sherlock went to pick it up. But by the time he got to it, it stopped. Then Inspector Lestrade came in the apartment, "Sherlock, someone wants to see you, a Mister Moritarty."
Sherlock looked at Watson, then back at the inspector, "Bring him up." Sherlock watched as the inspector went down stairs and came back followed by a stallion. "Who are you?" asked Sherlock as he sat down in one of his chairs.
"Glad to see that you knew me." said the black stallion,"You may leave inspector." As the inspector left, the black stallion sat next to Sherlock, "Oh the games I planned for us to play, but now that I see you, your no fun. I wanted a man who would try to send me to the moon with thinking of ideas to stop him. But your just normal. I have to tell you my name, I thought you would know, I'm Moriarty."
"Sherlock is anything but normal." said Watson as he walked over to Moritarty. "If you want him to give up, you better kill me."
"Not a bad idea, I'll keep that in mind as you all follow my story. Well, 'nough stalling, better start the games." said Moriarty as he pulled out a little box, "Here's your first chapter." He put the box on the ground and left the apartment.
Sherlock walked over to the box and the first thing he noticed was that the box looked like the cover of an old book. When he picked it up, he smelled it. "Violet?" Sherlock shook the book and heard a bell. "What is it?" asked Sherlock as he peeled the packaging off. It was three things: a bell, some flowers and bread crumbs.
"What dose that mean?" asked Watson as he looked in the box. Sherlock ran to his bookshelf and seemed like a kid looking for a toy.
"They're fairy tales." said Sherlock as he pulled down a book on the table. he started to flip through it, "Bell, the name of the girl from the story Beauty and the Beast; Flowers, some of those flowers are Roses, also a name of character of a fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty; And the bread crumbs, from Hansel and Gretel. But why are there fairy tales?"
Watson was picking up the bell, when he noticed a hair in it, "Sherlock, dosen't this hair remind you of that pegasus, what was her name, Star Flyer?" Watson passed the hair to Sherlock.
Sherlock picked up the hair, "Watson, that's because it is. But how did it get here?" then Sherlock remembered what the runner said: I was hired by a Moritarty. "Watson, these are hints to his murders. But why was Star Flyer Bell?"
As the clock by the doorway struck 12, both Watson and Sherlock were reading stories and finding anything about Star Flyer. "Wait, Sherlock, what about the murder? She was in a new place by invite of a 'client', and was killed by a crazed pony. She could be Bell and the runner could be the Beast."
"Watson, that's it! Now that we know the fundamentals of his crimes, we just have to wait for the next crime." said Sherlock as he ran to the door to get his coat, "Grab your coat we need to go to the station." Watson followed after Sherlock. "Now we have to find a sleeping beauty."
Location: Canterlot Central Hospital. Time; 1:12 p.m.
"Well Sherlock, there is no one in this hospital in any state of deadly sleep." said Watson as they sat at the front door.
"Where else then? Unless it's not here then where?" said Sherlock as he sat puzzled. Just then the Inspector came by. He seemed out of breath, "Well, what is it Inspector?"
"Sherlock. Watson. Downtown. Crime. Come on." heavily breathed the Inspector as he started to turn around and run the other way.
Location: Canterlot Library. Time; 1:45 p.m.
"What crime could have been done at a library?" asked Watson as they walked inside. Inside there was no one there police were everywhere as if there was a purpose.
"There's been a kidnapping." said the inspector as he regained breathing. He pointed to the librarian, "She wa the one who called it in."
"Let me guess, was it a filly and colt or was it a mare?" asked Watson as they walked over to the librarian.
"She's hiding something." Sherlock said as they got to her, "Where are they!" yelled Sherlock at the librarian. She pointed to a corner of the library and started to cry. "Don't worry, the only thing you'll be accused of is not having the books returned to there proper places."
When the librarian ran to the shelf that was unorganized, Sherlock jumped over the counter and pulled out the check out list and saw that the story that was checked out last was.
"Inspector, who was kidnapped?" asked Holmes as he trotted back around to them.
"The person kidnapped was a young mare by the name of Bookworm, funny name right? Anyways, she was took by a man in a pink suit and wore a red hat." said the Inspector as he read the note from one of the police officers.
"Rose." said Watson as he turned to Sherlock. Sherlock gave a nod in agreement. They walked to the area that Ms. Bookworm was.
"The understanding of Quantum Physics? well, this is sure light reading." said Sherlock as he went through the books on the shelf. "Now, what book is missing?" Sherlock and Watson searched the shelves looking for the missing book. When they finished the look, they couldn't find the missing story.
"Umm, here's the list of books that are missing sirs." said the librarian as she set a note down between them. Sherlock looked at the list while Watson put the books back up.
"The psychology of griffins? That's the book missing?" Sherlock was puzzled. he started to walk to the door when Watson checked out the list.
"Sherlock, how many griffins are there in Canterlot? The last time I checked it was three, there was a story in the news that was talking about a griffin. Maybe he might know about this." asked Watson as he trotted up to Sherlock, "If she took a book about a griffin, maybe that's a lead."
Location: Griffin Rock Tavern. Time; 4:20 p.m.
"Yeah, I know a pony by the name Bookworm, was like a daughter to me, what happened to her?" asked the griffin. The griffin was a little taller then Watson and Sherlock. "Tell me what happened!"
"Well, she was kidnapped by someone in a pink suit and red hat, that's all we know." said Watson as walked up to the griffin. The griffin was looking like he was about to cry. "The news about Bookworm must be hard." Watson whispered to Sherlock as Sherlock looked into the tavern.
"So, you own this bar? Do you know everyone here?" asked Sherlock as he saw one of the ponies in the back start make there way to the side door. "Cause I have a feeling that that pony," points to the pony by the side door," Is not happy to see us or you."
When Sherlock said that the pony bolted for the door. Sherlock and Watson followed after him, jumping over tables, counters, even people to get to the door in a hurry. When they got to the door, the pony was trying to climb up the fire escape.
"Watson fly up to him." said Sherlock as he ran to below the pony.
"Sherlock, I can't."
"Sure you can just go." said Sherlock as he pointed to the pony.
"No, I mean I psychically can't. I had paralyzed them as a kid, and I can't use them." said Watson as the pony got away.
"Then help me up then." said Sherlock as he looked up to the roof.
After Sherlock got up, he went running up to the roof. When he got there, he could see that the other pony had three houses on him. Sherlock ran to the edge of the roof and jumped. When he landed, he started to run agian. By the time he caught up to the pony, he saw that the pony had twisted his hoof on his last jump. "Sir, come with me and we can check it out." The pony turned around and pulled out a piece of paper.
"Dear Mr. Holmes, You have done really well in the story. Now there has been some revisions to it. The flower that you are looking for is in a clothes store across town and you have 5 minuets after 6 to get there or she dies. signed M." And with that the pony laid down in defeat and handed the note to Sherlock.

Chapter 4: Time waits for no pony
Location: Griffin Rock Tavern. Time: 5:20 p.m.
Once the police came, Sherlock and Watson walked away from the scene. They walked about a block away before they talked to each other.
"Sherlock, what happened up there?" asked Watson as Sherlock pulled the note out of his pocket.
Sherlock gave the note to Watson. As Watson read the note, Sherlock was looking for a clock. "Watson, what time is it?"
"Almost 5:30. Sherlock, if we are to save her, we got to go now."
"Then why wait?" said Sherlock as he ran down the street. As they ran, a figure stood where they were standing . He held a pen and notepad. He was mumbling to himself as he ripped a page out of his notebook.
Location: 221 Baker street. Time; 5:45 p.m.
"Sherlock, we got to go." yelled Watson as he put on his jacket,"We know where she is, how long it'll take, lets go!"
"WATSON! Yes we know all of that, but what dose Moriarty have in mind for us?" said Sherlock as he picked up an old gas mask.
"Why are you taking that?" asked Watson as he saw Sherlock put the gas mask in a bag.
"She's in a sleeping state, it'll be caused by gas, that's why I'm bringing it." said Sherlock as he walked down the stairs. "Now lets go Watson, I'm waiting on you."
"I was just saying that." said Watson as he walked down the stairs.
Location: Photo Finish's Photo Gallery. Time; 6:00 p.m.
"Sherlock, When I said we need to find a way in, that didn't mean to break the window. Don't we need a warrant before we can do stuff like this?" asked Watson as he stood outside waiting for Sherlock to open the door.
" Oh please, that's for the wimpy ponies, like the Inspector." Sherlock opened the door," And by the time we would get the warrant, Ms. Bookworm would have been dead. Now follow me."
"What took you so long?" asked Watson as he followed Sherlock.
"Had to find the door." replied Sherlock as he opened a door to a staircase, "She's down here. How much time do we have?"
Watson looked at his watch, "About two minuets. We better hurry."
Sherlock and Watson were looking under the doors looking for Bookworm. Sherlock was in a cold sweat looking for the girl.
Watson looked at his watch again," Sherlock!"
"I know, I know." said Sherlock as he ran down to the last door in the hall. He stopped and back paced to a door. He saw something that raised his hopes, a shadow. He opened the door and saw Bookworm strapped down in a bed. "Don't worry, I'm here."
"Who's here for you than?" asked Bookworm as she pointed to the door.
"WATSON!" yelled Sherlock as he ran to the door, but it was to late to do anything. Sherlock hit the door a couple of times till he heard a hissing sound. He ran to Bookworm and placed the gas mask from his bag and put it on her, "They want you, not me. just..put...it...on." Sherlock collapsed onto the floor. The room was growing black when Watson and the Inspector came to him and Bookworm. "Watson."
Location: Canterlot Central Hospital. Time: 1:42 p.m.
"Hey, well come back Sherlock." said Watson as Sherlock opened his eyes.
"Hi. How's Ms. Bookworm?"
"Well, funny story, the griffin from the tavern was her godfather and they haven't found out the culprit." said Watson as he sat next to Sherlock.
Just then there was a knock at the door. When Watson got to the door, they saw who it was: Moriarty.
"Mr. Holmes, you ruined my story. There goes chapters two through ten. Now I have to write another story, but I'm impressed, not many people make me have to rewrite my stories. Well done Mr. Holmes. I'll send you a letter of when my new story is done. Till then Mr. Holmes, speedy recovery." and with that, Moriarty left the room.
"Watson, after I'm recovered, we're going on a trip."
"But to where Holmes." asked Watson as he walked to Sherlock.
"Why, it's elementary dear Watson."
