The story to end my story
Falling.
All I remember is falling.
Well, and screaming, but that was pretty much muted out by the wind rushing past my ears and face.
I tried to flap my wings and get back on track, but I am falling too fast to even get them to open again, and even if I did, they would probably break.

My name is Scootaloo.
And this is the story to end my story.

I open my eyes slowly, my eyes slowly waking up along with my ears, I hear the birds chirping outside.
I suddenly come to my senses and see my normal rainbow coloured bed covers, and huge picture of Rainbow Dash hanging on the far wall.
I slowly arch my back and rub my eyes, all the while waiting for the rest of the world to fade in.
When my senses have come to me, I slide out of bed and open the door, Rainbow Dash is already downstairs, as usual, and I walk down the amazingly comfy stairs to join her.
When I get down the stairs, Dash has already packed for her day and has made me my breakfast and started getting my things ready for me to go down to Twilight’s home to stay while Dash is out at the Wonderbolts.
The door opens, and Dash flies out, closing the door behind her and then looking through the window to wave me a final goodbye before the week of non-stop exercise.
“See ya squirt!” Dash shouted, rubbing my mane and leaving it in a mess.
“Bye Dash! I can’t wait ‘till you get back!” I shouted back and a few seconds later, Dash flew off, going the fastest she could, leaving a trail of rainbow behind her.
I still had not gotten my cutie mark, and I really wanted to get it before Dash got back in a week...
After sitting around in the house an hour, I felt like it was time to go to Twilight’s house and get all my things out and ready.
I remember Dash saying to me a few weeks ago, when she first planned for me to go to Twilight’s place for the week, to glide down to the floor and walk the rest of the way, as to avoid any unwanted injuries, but today, I wanted my cutie mark, and I wanted it to be the most awesome thing anypony had ever seen, so, I grabbed my saddlebag, strapped it on and flew out of the door, gaining speed and altitude every second I flapped my wings.
My flying had gotten a lot better since I had started living with Dash up in her cloud house high above ponyville, and I have had the best times of my life with Dash, like first learning to fly and watching her perform a double rainboom (which may have destroyed a bit of town, but it was still the most awesome thing ever, well, for me anyways, not the nurses and doctors of the Ponyville hospital)
As I was flying higher, I started to feel a bit of strain on my wings, which was normally how I knew I had flown high enough.
I checked my saddlebag as I didn’t want to be losing my most treasured posessions, and started to dive straight down towards a field just outside of ponyville, where I was hoping to make a soft landing and walk the rest of the way to the home for the next week.
As I am diving, I start to lose control of the dive and I start to be in more of a fall than a dive. When I realise that I am falling, it is too late to stop myself.
I am about a mile above the ground, and I am falling so fast that the world is just a blur, through the blur, the world seems to slow down and then I see lots of images appearing on my vision, all showing me and my friends, at the best moments of my life.
A flash of light and the world is blurred again as I snap out of the trance I was in before, falling just as fast as before, but with more fear plastered to my face. I try to open my wings, but they don’t open, I close my eyes for the last time as the speed takes me to unconsciesness a few hundred metres before the ground comes up to welcome me to the new world I now live in...
My mind is my world.
And I can do anything I want, just, nopony else can see it, all they will see is the tattered remains of my body when they find me.
I am sad for most of my friends, but mostly Dash, because she had always wanted me as a sister, and when it happened, we were inseperable.
But now, We will never see each other again.

I am in ponyville, everything is the same, but I am flying, I had never been good at flying, but I could glide really well, So me flying was kinda... different...
I see Twilight giving a speech at town hall, I fly closer, and I finally hear her talking to about 100-ish ponies all looking sad, I kinda have an idea of what this might be about, but I want to make sure of it...
As I get closer I hear snippets of what Twilight is saying, "A loving friend"... "A great sister"... "she will be missed"...
When I hear this last part, I fly away as soon as possible, trying to keep myself from crying as I realise what me being reckless has done to the ponies I love...
I fly home and see Dash there, I try to speak to her, but when I speak, nothing comes out of my mouth, I can hear myself talking in my head, but none of what I say is being said to the recipient I want to hear it...
She is crying, and has a wonderbolt suit thrown over the chair next to her, when I try to touch her to comfort her, my hoof goes straight through her shoulder.
I don't know what to do now, I am scared and worried for the mental health of my big sister...
I hope that she doesn't stay like this...
I hope that she is okay... for my sake, and most importantly, Hers...

Okay, this started out as a one shot, but I changed my mind and wrote two more chapters ;3
