The Abandoned One

    Fluttershy fainted. She mumbled dizzily, "Sunset Shimmer is my sister....she's my sister....my sister is Sunset Shimmer...Sunset Shimmer is a sister of Fluttershy..."

    Rainbow Dash yelled at Fluttershy. "FLUTTERSHY SNAP OUT OF IT!"

    Rainbow slapped Fluttershy's face. Fluttershy cried out a quick "EEP!" and jumped to the top of the ceiling, hitting her head. Everypony face-hoofed themselves.

    Pinkie Pie jumped up and down excitedly. "That means that I have even MORE ponies to celebrate with! I can't wait to meet her!"

     Fluttershy jumped up and look at Pinkie. "Wait! No. We can't go see her. No..yes! It's a really bad idea! Yes..no! We should not go see her. She's evil! Evil I tell you!"

    Twilight rolled her eyes. "Fluttershy, your overreacting! Sunset Shimmer learned her lesson 10 months ago, and she came back to Ponyville 5 months ago. I've heard more ponies are becoming her friend now, so I think it would be fine to go visit her at least for a few minutes. You know, for family bondage?"

    Fluttershy disappointingly nodded her head. The group left the library and went from pony to pony asking them if they knew where Sunset Shimmer was. They ran around ponyville for hours and hours, searching for her. When they thought hope was lost and there was no other choice but to give up, Cloudchaser told them that she had just walked home from the street market. She gave them the address and they ran off to her house.

   As they reached their destination, Twilight was just about to knock on the door when Rainbow Dash rammed herself into the door, breaking it in half. There inside stood a teenage mare who was shocked and stunned at what happened. Suddenly, Rainbow flew and pinned her down to the floor. The mare cried out as Rainbow stood on top of her.

    Rainbow spoke loudly, "HEY, ARE YOU SUNSET SHIMMER?"

    The young pony stuttered in a very scared way. "P-please d-don't h-h-hurt me! I didn't do a-anything I s-s-swear!!"

    Rainbow looked closer at her. "ANSWER MY QUESTION!"

    She nodded her head. Frightened by Rainbow's strong approach, the young mare started to sob.

    Twilight angrily cried out. "Rainbow Dash!" She pulled Rainbow's ear with her magic, bringing her to her side. "That was very rude, the way you barged in her house like that!"

    Rainbow squirmed around. "Okay! Okay! I'm sorry. Just let go of my ear!"

    Twilight let go of Rainbow's ear. Rainbow fell to the ground, smack on the face. Twilight walked over to Sunset Shimmer and helped her up.

    "Sorry about the mess Sunset, Rainbow Dash will pay for your door. Won't you Dash?"

    Rainbow grumbled disappointingly. Sunset sat everypony down on her sofa and offered them some hot cocoa. Twilight explained why they had come to her house. Sunset's expression when she finished talking was un-explainable. She asked them if it was a joke, and they all shook their heads. There was an awkward silence for a while. Finally Sunset Shimmer said something.

    "Um, but how is this possible? I'm so confused."  she said.

    "Well, maybe if Fluttershy continues her story, you'll understand." Pinkie Pie suggested.

    Everypony nodded their heads in agreement of the idea. So Fluttershy continued her story.

    "Now where were we? Oh right, yes. Sunset had let me into her home. Her mom and dad were away, so it was just her and I. We played for a while, just like two little girls would. We made a mess with paint and food so we hurried to the bathroom and filled the tub with 5 bottles of bubble bath soap and filled it with water. But that only caused a bigger mess. Bubbles filled up the whole bathroom, and believe me, the bathroom's size from what I remember was huge! Suddenly we heard the door close in the living room. I flew to the door and opened it slowly. Bubbles flew from the room and all over the carpet. A young mare stood there with her cell phone staring at our mess all over the place. Then she saw us. We stayed quiet for a while expecting her to burst out in flames. But instead, she just giggled and helped us get bubbles, paint, and food off our faces."

    Fluttershy looked over to her side and saw the giggling face of Sunset Shimmer. "I remember everything that happened. It's just so funny to think about how silly we were to put that much soap in the water."

    The girls found themselves watching the two ponies laughing with each other about their past. All they could do was smiles and enjoy watching them have fun.

    Sunset finally calmed down and stopped laughing. "Oh, right, continue your story."

    Fluttershy didn't hesitate to start. "The mare was actually Sunset's mom. I don't recall her name, but she was kind enough to clean our faces off and not yell at us. She helped us wipe the mess off the carpet and the walls, and clean up all the bubbles from the soap. Of course, she asked me my name, but I was too shy to reply. Sunset answered for me. Sunset's mom just smiled and went to fix a proper meal for us. We sat on the couch and watched our cartoons. That's when Sunset's dad, Bronze Shimmer came in.

    He came in and was talking with his wife. He walked in the living room and sat down with us.

     "Hey Sunset, what's up?" He greeted to his daughter.

     "Watching cartoons with Fluttershy of course." Sunset replied.

     He looked at me and just smiled. "Hey Fluttershy, a friend of Sunset I suppose?"

    I turned around and watched TV again.

    "She's shy, dad" Sunset spoke for me again.

    We played the rest of the day. I ate with their small family and I had fun with their pets. It was getting late and I got my bags and left their home. They all waved goodbye and told me to come back again tomorrow. They closed the door and I smiled and started to walk off. Then I realized, I had forgotten the only reason I had visited them. I had too much fun and got side tracked. My only option was to come back the next day. While thinking of a plan to get my parents back in the kindest way possible, I flew to one of my best friend's houses in Cloudsdale: Rainbow Dash."

    Then all of a sudden Rainbow got a certain look on her face that said "Oh no, that part is coming up."

    "Um, I gotta go. I have a evening shift to do. I'll pay for that door Sunset. Sorry about that." She flew out the back door and closed it with a slam.

    "What's gotten into her?" Applejack asked

    Everypony shrugged.

    Fluttershy looked down at the floor. "Oh, I knew she run out the door at this part of the story. She regrets ever doing it, and hates it when I talk about it."

    "What do you mean darling?" Rarity questioned.

     Fluttershy replied sadly. "Well, okay, let me tell you..I mean...if you don't mind. I just feel bad about Rainbow..."
