Professor Sump's notes
Load Full StoryNext ChapterProfessor Sump’s notes from Equestrian History
Thou most these days find no comfort in the ways of the past, these are important lessons to be learned, least we repeat them. It is for this reason that I have complied these accounts regarding the career of King Sombra, the magic of Star Swirl and final the establishment of Canterlot and the reign of the Good King.
Were available I have used the written accounts of the individual involved. However, some information was passed down verbally from generation to generation and while it may be suspect in exaggeration, it is not suspect in factual record that corresponds to the few written books and artifacts in our glorious history.
In the appendix the reader will find the names of locations then and now. I apologize as my map maker was unable to decipher the notes and still make the publishing deadline. If a 2nd issue of this publication is required, the maps will most certainly be present, even if I must pen them myself.
