Dementia
Prologue - Trouble Recalling
Load Full StoryNext Chapter"Tell me. When did this happen?" The large silhouette said. The feminine voice seemed to echo in Northern Wing's ears as she stood in the doorway of the only exit. "Right after the-"
"No, no. Ponies went around checking, remember?" Northern Wing said, defending himself. "It was a while after. She was in trouble, and I didn't know who she really was." somehow, the pale white stallion turned even paler, as he fully grasped his situation.
"When did you start knowing?" the voice asked
"About two months ago." Northern replied, shakily. He looked and saw two large figures behind the larger one, and he knew he was in less trouble than he previously thought. Only two. Good.
"And you didn't bring her in?" The voice said impatiently.
"I couldn't!"
"Why?"
"You wouldn't understand."
The silhouette took a step forward, showing the multicolored mane of Princess Celestia and behind her two stoic guards. Lowering her head, she spoke in a softer voice, one that showed her long years of rule.
"I have lived for such a long time, Northern Wings. I have seen quite a bit. Now, remember. She isn't in any danger. You aren't in any trouble. Just tell me what happened."
Northern looked up at Celestia, and the whole speech he had planned out went down the drain. He knew she thought she was telling the truth, but even the Princess of Equestria cannot know everything. But, he had no choice. Demmy was gone, and so was her magic, and flying out the window? Ha, as if his wings would work when he is this terrified.
"Okay." He finally said. "I have no choice, do I?"
"If I said yes, you do have a choice, I would be lying."
Northern knew she was trying to lighten the mood, but for some reason the mood just went darker.
"All of the details, from leadup to now?"
"Please."
Taking a deep breath, Northern Wings recollected his memories.
