//-------------------------------------------------------// Operation: Applejack finds a boy/coltfriend -by Bilbo Dingo- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The meet //-------------------------------------------------------// The meet I woke up with the sun burning into my eyes, which was a bit strange, it's not that hot here in Albany, but weather can't be controlled can it? So I slowly sit up, rub my eyes and yawn. I then get up and walked into the kitchen, I grab some bread and put it in the toaster, I then turn the dial to 2 and 1/2. I then get the board, a butterknife, and some peanut butter. I then waited until the toast popped, got it out, spread the peanut butter and got a plate, and ate some breakfast, I then headed into the bathroom and I to the shower. While we're here, I should introduce myself. My names Axel Maxis, I live in Albany, Western Australia, on Beresford street. I'm 21 and have brown hair, and I'm currently on summer vacation from my job, I also go for the Essendon bombers. Now I'm very interested in video games, I play a lot of them on my computer, like TF2, Age of empires III, Half-Life 2, and nearly any war strategy games. Now I also have a PS3 (FTW), which I play Sonic, sometimes Call of Duty and of coarse Assassin's Creed. I then get out of the shower and get my usual clothes on, a green shirt, blue. Jeans and a pale blue hoodie, with a pair of white, black and red sneakers. And then go for a bit of a jog, I head up the streets to the rocks, go to the top, have a good view of Albany, and then jog through the rocks onto Anderson Place, down to Seymour street and back onto Beresford, up back to my house. Now I wasn't that social at school, in fact I didn't have very many friends, and I sort of regret it, I mean I did get very good grades, but paid the price of not having friends. I've also never been in a relationship if you could guess, And probably because I was and still am a nerd on history, especially Australia's contributes for winning both world wars, is why I don't have many friends. I then watch some TV before going out to lunch, and then I head down to a little flat patch not far from my house, sometimes there's a van there selling donuts or something, but they sell something. I usually sit down next to the ditch, and lean against a tree and just watch the time fly, the cars go by, sometimes kids and there older brothers or sisters playing with them, running with them, or just mucking around with them. It would warm my heart up, although I sometimes wish I had a little brother or something, someone to help when there down, have a laugh with, and to have someone look up to you. "Howdy!" That voice made me jump so high I almost hit a branch, I then looked back to see a woman there, about my age, she was wearing a brown Steston, had blonde hair with red bands in it making it a ponytail, a buttoned orange short, regular shoes and blue jeans, kinda like one a farmer would wear. "Um, hey?" I asked, confused as to why she would just randomly say hi to me. "Mind if ah sit next ta ya?" She asks. "Uh, no, not at all." I said. "Much obliged." She tipped her hat as she sat down next to me. "Your not from around here are you." I said, she started to out on a 'obviously lying' face and looked from side to side. "Why w-would ya say that?" She asked. "Well, I've never seen someone wearing that, and second, your accent. Third is your hat, never really seen people wear Steston's here." I said, made put on a curious face. "Really?" "Well I've seen some people wearing Akubra's but no, not Steston's." I said. "Ah, woulda thought it?" She said. "Well, it's not really a popular hat here." I said. "Oh yeah, I ain't back in Equ- I mean Texas!" She splutters out the last bit. "So your from Texas?" I ask. "Eeyup." She said, she seemed to be mimicking someone, but I have no idea who. "So why'd you come here? Why not Sydney or Melbourne?" I ask. "Ah prefer small towns rather then big cities. Have ya every been there?" She asks. "Only Sydney, I do want to go to Melbourne one day though." I said, I really did, it seems like its one of the Top cities in the world, apart from Sydney. "So...ya seen any movies lately?" She asks. "Yeah, Pacific Rim." (That movie was AWESOME! And I like the fact Australians were in it, but not the stereotype of us being hot headed.) "That was very good wasn't it?" She asked. "Yeah, of coarse it was." I said. I mean, who doesn't like robots versus aliens, although that does seem like a dreamworks parody. (Note: did anyone whose already watched Pacific Rim noticed how when the ape alien versed the American jaguar, when the Aussie said 'kick his arse!', there was then a scene when a body part was ripped off. Perhaps the Americans took it a bit to far, no offence to any Americans reading this though.) "Hey can I ask you a question?" I said. "Yeah, what?" She responds. "Why are you sitting next to me? especially me? I'm not that special." I said. "Hey, don't say that about ya self. I just saw ya sitting alone and though ya might need some company." She said. "Well, thank you." I said. "It ain't a problem sugarcube." She said. We talked until the sun started to set. "Well, I guess it's time to head home." I said standing up, I offered a hand for her, the woman gladly grabbed it and stood up. "Yeah, by the way, what's ya name?" She asks. "Axel. And yours?" I ask. "Applejack sugarcube, can we meet again?" She asks. "Yeah, sure, what's you number?" I asked as I pull out my phone, she told me and I told her my phone number. "Well, ether text or call me." I said as I began to head to my car, but before I get onto North Rd, I pull my window down and wave to Applejack, she waves back and I drive back up the hill and back home. Although there was something strange about Applejack, when would someone from Texas come to Albany? They could have easily gone to Perth, or Broome and there would still be able to be into a small town. I wonder.
