Chaos Eclipse

Chapter 1

A Normal day... Or Is It?

                      This story speeds up to  a "Normal" Monday morning. *Alarm rings beside Chaos before he slings it across the room. "I'm up, i'm up" He groaned. Sigh, he thought as he was getting dressed, Today's the day. I'm gonna finally ask Ruby out. Assuming nothing goes wrong, of course, but we're really good friends. Maybe she feels the same way about me? Well, only time will tell. He finishes as he walks downstairs, tripping on a step and falling the rest of the way down. Getting back up, he hears noises in the kitchen, signaling that his mom is up.

“MOOOOM,” He yelled, “WHERE ARE YOU?"

“In the kitchen, Chaos.” Fluttershy happily chimed back. "Want some eggs or something? We have that and waffles, toast, pancakes, whatever you want."

"Y'know what? Eggs sound delicious" Replied Chaos. "OK, Chaos, they'll be done shortly. In the meantime, can you go and get the mail? After you do, you can play some PonyStation 3 or something. I mean, if you want to. Chaos knew Fluttershy was pretty timid, and she would basically let him do whatever he wanted, but he knew she tried hard to take care of him, so he didn't take advantage of that. Granted, he didn't get out very much, and he does eat a lot more than he probably should, but he doesn't care about appearances, mainly because he sometimes can't stand being around other ponies except Ruby Gem, Fluttershy, or the other 5 of the Mane 6.

"Alright, i'll get it. Be back in a sec." Chaos runs into the yard and gets the mail, and he sees an ad for the PonyStation 4. I'd see if I could get one but the controls are terrible! Sigh, oh well. I'm not much of a gamer anyway. Chaos speeds back into the house and was greeted by the smell of eggs.

"I was thinking of going to the market for some groceries together, well, if that's okay with you, of course."Fluttershy suggested. "Sure. I'm gonna meet Ruby Gem anyway. Oh, and while we're there, can we get some stuff for apple pie or something?" Chaos questioned. "Oh, sure, we can do that." Fluttershy replied."WHOOOOOOOOO! APPLE PIE! APPLE PIE! APPLE PIE!"

          Chaos and Fluttershy finish their eggs and walk to the supermarket when they notice something strange: Everyone is running away. In the crowd of ponies, they see a dark-violet light. An angry,  black unicorn with red eyes appears out of it.

"WHERE IS HE! WHERE IS CHAOS!" Chaos starts to say to himself, "Oh f*** me.", when he notices a wooden pole leaning next to the side of a house. With Chaos' natural heroic instincts, he grabs it and charges at Sombra, thrusting the pole into his body. Sombra roars with pain and throws him back with his power. After regaining his bearings, he sees a frightened Ruby Gem near Sugarcube Corner.

"CHAOS! WHAT'S HAPPENING! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!" Chaos gets up and runs up to where she is to assure her everything will be alright. Sombra takes notice of this and siezes the opportunity to kill two birds with one house. And then throws a house at him. Chaos closes his eyes, looks away, and raises a hand to protect himself and Ruby, but instead of feeling pain, they feel nothing. Curious, he opens his eyes and looks forward. He sees the house floating there with a blue-violet aura around it. As far as he knew, he couldn't control magic, and Ruby has DH syndrome. (Defective horn.) But he moves his hand, and sure enough, the house moves with it. Hoping, since he's never done this before, that it doesn't blow up, he throws it back at Sombra, who was just standing there at the time, in amazement that Chaos found his new power, but saw this coming. He quickly threw the house out of the way, but then was hit by a rainbow of light. While he was dazed, Chaos looked for where it came from and saw the Catalysts of the Elements of Harmony: The Mane 6.

"Chaos! Ruby! You need to get out of here! Let us take care of it!" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"I can't back away! I need to fight!" Chaos exclaimed back.

"But you're defenseless! You can't fight!"

"Who says i'm defenseless?" Chaos tells Ruby to go find safety, then uses his newfound power to hurl another building at the dazed Sombra, and another, and another, until he starts to feel a deep surge of power welling up inside of him. Chaos, only just finding his power, is unable to contain the surge of energy and lets it out. The sky turns a dark-violet and the moon rises up to the sun. The sun and moon become a whole and in the heat of it all, before this power can be unleashed, Princess Luna flies down and hits Chaos from the back,  destroying the surge of energy, saving countless lives, and himself. Ruby, Luna, and the Mane 6 all run up to Chaos at once.

"Chaos, what did you DO? I mean, i've never seen anything like that! You just moved the sun AND the moon at once!" Twilight didn't notice Chaos wasn't listening until she finished, as he passed out from the powerful energy surge.
