Ruler Of Skylands [A Skylander/MLP crossover]

"You're on!" Rainbow Dash said glistening with excitement.

"Alright. Let's go." Cynder replied. A few minutes later, the course was set up and the competators were lined up at the starting line. Twilight gracefully flew up to the audience cloud.

"Oh boy this is so exciting! I can finally sit up here on a cloud without some kind of spell! Hey, where's Spyro?"

"Spyro's down with Pop Fizz and Trigger Happy. You can't leave those two alone together, it would be very bad if you did." Whirlwind replied. "I think the race is about to start!" Fluttershy stood on a lonely cloud with the black and white checkered flag in her mouth. "Ah," she thought. "This is just like the good old days, let's just hope I don't spin off the cloud again." Fluttershy gently lifted the flag and struck it down. The dragon and pegasus were off. The two racers were flying at the speed of light, but Rainbow Dash was flying a little faster, so fast that it almost whipped Flynn out of his hot air balloon while passing by. "Woah!" he shouted. "That's fast! ...Woohoo!" Rainbow looked back at the creature cheering them on and looked back with a grin on her face. While all of that was happening, Cynder caught up to Rainbow Dash and did a shadow dash past her, making her closer to the surface. She looked back up at the blue pegasus and laughed.

"Hey! you're flying too close the surface!" Rainbow yelled to Cynder.

"Trust me, pony! I know what I'm doing!" Cynder retorted. Moments later, the dark purple dragon without noticing, hit her wing hard onto a statue of Master Eon. Cynder was falling rapidly to the ground. Spyro was looking from the ground and saw a purple ball that he mistaked for a comet, but really it was Cynder.

"Wait is that?" Spyro said to himself. "Cynder? CYNDER!" He started to run towards her but was then stopped by Pop Fizz.

"I don't think it's necessary, look!" Pop Fizz yelled. He spotted something else coming from the sky, a blue pony with a rainbow mane coming to save the hurt dragon.

"I think it's Whirlwind!" Pop Fizz continued.

"No, it's not Whirlwind, It's Rainbow Dash!" Trigger Happy shouted. After those words came out, he saw Rainbow Dash have a cone form around her and soon after, a rainbow exploded around her, sending the blue pegasus flying even faster than before. Meanwhile, up in the audience, Twilight was talking to Whirlwind about how she gained her wings and became a princess. "And then I was-" Twilight's conversation was cut off when she saw the explosion take place.

"What was that!? I-I've never seen anything like it!" Whirlwind said in shock.

"It's a Sonic RAINBOOM!" Twilight screamed. "Let's go Rainbow Dash! Woohoo!"

"Yay!" Fluttershy said quietly from her cloud. The other ponies from the ground heard Twilight's cheering so they decided to cheer along with her.

"Yeah Rainbow!" Apple Jack yelled. While all of this was happening, Rainbow Dash managed to speed up enough to catch Cynder and land her safely on the ground. Everyone came to meet them where they landed to see what has just happened. Rainbow sat there with Cynder, out of breath and her mane a mess. The others met her there in shock. Cynder's eyes were shut and she layed there motionless.

"Cynder!" Spyro said worried. Cynder opened her eyes slowly. "Wha...what happened? All I remember was running into something and falling to my death, how am I still alive?" Spyro stepped forward. "This girl saved your life." He said. Cynder sat up to see Rainbow Dash looking at her, worried.

"I-I don't know what to say...thank you!" Cynder said. Then she felt a rushing pain through her left wing. "Ouch!" Cynder screamed. "What's wrong?!" Rainbow Dash said. "It- it's my left wing!" Cynder replied in pain. Rainbow looked at her wing, it looked completely crumbled up and destroyed. "Oh no..." Rainbow said.

Cynder's wing was broken.
