The pegasi cleared out all the clouds, and The bakery was making fresh cupcakes. Twilight, the newest alicorn, was out with Rainbow Dash being taught how to fly. "Now Twilight," Rainbow Dash said. "You have wings now, as you already know, but you need to take advantage of your wings, and to do that you need to know how to fly...obviously. Understood?" "Understood." Twilight said. "Good. Now we're going to start with something basic, tucking and untucking your wings." Rainbow Dash replied. "So start off by bending the tip of your wings," Twilight did as she was told. "Good now curl up your wings, and simply just tucking them in!" Rainbow Dash continued. "Easy as pie!" "Wow, this is easy! And it will be much easier to sleep!" Twilight exclaimed. " "Yay! Now time for phase two, the actual flying. Close your eyes," Rainbow Dash said. Twilight did as she was told again. "And simply think you're as light as a feather, then once you think you're up in the air, start flapping your wings and open your eyes." Twilight imagined herself as a little purple feather floating in the breeze, she felt herself becoming air-born so she started to flap her wings and open her eyes slowly like she just woke up from an eternal nap. She did it! Twilight felt like she had known this all along! She's now an official alicorn! "I'm flying! I'm actually flying!" Twilight yelled. "Yeah Twilight!!" Rainbow Dash yelled from the ground. Rainbow Dash flew up into the sky to join her new flying buddy. "Woohoo!! This is going to be awesome!" Suddenly Twilight started flying faster, fast enough to run into the fountain. Rainbow looked away hoping her friend wasn't hurt. Luckily she was okay so Rainbow joined her on the ground. "He he he, oh Twilight! We'll need to work on that!" Rainbow chuckled. "Ouch." Twilight groaned. Fluttershy suddenly appeared out of nowhere with a letter. "Oh! Am I interrupting anything?" Fluttershy said near a whisper. Twilight recovered from her crash. "No it's fine Fluttershy, whacha' got there?" "Oh, Spike told me to give this to you, he's a little busy with his...gems." Fluttershy replied. "I think it's from the Princess." "Oh!" Twilight said grabbing the letter using her magic. The letter said: Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle, I would like you to meet me at the castle for a very important matter, bring all your friends too! Signed, Princess Celestia "Oh gosh I'm going to need to get used to the 'Princess Twilight Sparkle' thing..." Twilight said. "But it's not a thing! It's a reality!" Rarity interrupted. "Rarity! How'd you get here?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "I live here..." Rarity said unamused. " I brought Apple Jack, Pinkie, and myself." "Guys we're going to Canterlot!" Twilight yelled so all her friends could hear. ~~At Canterlot~~ "Good afternoon Princess." Twilight said bowing down. "And good afternoon to you too Princess Twilight!" Princess Celestia said bowing down. "I'm going to need to get used to this." Twilight said. "It'll only be a little while." Princess Cadence said. "Cadence!" Twilight said running over to her and doing their sunshine dance. Rainbow leaned over to Apple Jack. "Are they going to do this everytime they see each other?" Rainbow asked. "Mm... Probably" Apple Jack replied. "So why have you called us here Princess?" Rarity asked politely. "I have called all of you here today to tell you about a newly discovered land that is in grave danger. It is a land where dragons, elves, and beasts can roam in peace and harmony, and they are categorized by their unique powers. This place is called Skylands." "Skylands? Hm, interesting." Twilight said. "How will we get there?" "You will get there by using your magic and this spell." Celestia replied handing Twilight a scroll. The six ponies grouped together as Twilight read the spell: Magic, Fire, Life and Undead, Danger will rapidly spread, through mountains, forests, rivers and ponds without the wave of this special wand. A flash of light flickered in the castle and everyone looked away from it, thinking that they would be blinded from it. When it was finished, the six ponies were gone. //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 2~~ //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 2~~ Twilight and her friends woke up all dizzy and in a strange place. "Guys! Wake up! Twilight whispered. Rainbow sprang up after Twilight spoke. "Woah! Where are we??" Rainbow yelled. Twilight paused. "...Wow it didn't take you very long to wake up." She said. "Hey, if I want to become a Wonderbolt, I gotta recover from things quickly." Rainbow said in a proud tone. "Right...so I'm guessing this is Skylands..." Twilight said quietly. Rainbow spotted two dragons having a race in the sky. "Haha, I could totally beat both of those guys." Rainbow chuckled. Twilight rolled her eyes in a jokey way. "Can you help me wake everyone up Rainbow?" Twilight asked. "I'm on it! I would back up if you don't wanna get wet." Rainbow said going to grab the smallest cloud she could find, when she found it she placed it over her friends and started jumping on the cloud. Water fell out of the cloud, falling on the other four. They all sprang awake once they felt the cold water on their head. "Wakey wakey!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Ah! Rainbow Dash?! You messed up my mane!" Rarity yelled. "YAY! WATER!!" Pinkie screamed. "Aw, come on Rainbow!" Apple Jack said laughing. "Rainbow, that wasn't very nice, but it did wake me up..." Fluttershy whispered. "Okay now that we're all up, we've gotta find the ruler of this place." Twilight said. Suddenly, Twilight heard something in the distance, it was some kind of laugh, like a psychotic one. The six ponies walked over to see who was laughing this way. They see a furry orange gremlin-type animal laughing at a little coin. Fluttershy walked over to it slowly trying not to scare it away. "Hello little guy, what are you doing here?" Fluttershy said in a sweet tone. The little gremlin guy looked confused. "The question is what are you doing here?" He said. The gremlin reached into a nearby bush and pulled out two gold guns. "No! Don't hurt me!" Fluttershy squeaked. The gremlin shot out a little coin similar to the one he was looking at earlier. Fluttershy looked at the coin, it had a picture of the same gremlin standing before her. "Um, thanks?" Fluttershy said. "Hehehehe! You're funny I like you!!" Pinkie squealed. Pinkie continued to laugh, soon the gremlin joined in. "WHAT'S WITH ALL THE LAUGHING TRIGS?!" A furry blue gremlin interrupted. "It starting to get me worried because you're laughing like a-...oh." The Blue gremlin looked at Pinkie and the rest of the crew. "Who are they?" he asked. "I don't know!" The brown gremlin yelled. Twilight flew forward towards the arguing gremlins. "Excuse me?" Twilight asked politely. "Uh, what?" The blue gremlin asked. "Sorry, allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Twilight Sparkle, these are my friends Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Apple Jack." "...intersting. I'm Pop Fizz and this weirdo that laughs like a girl is Trigger Happy." Pop Fizz replied. "He definately is happy." Rainbow murmured. "Hey! I wasn't laughing like a girl! It was Pinkie Pie!" Trigger Happy retorted towards Pop Fizz. "Whatever. What do you guys want?" Pop Fizz said. "Um, we were sent here by our Princess because this place is in danger...I'm not sure if you know that, and we need to talk to your mayor or whatever you guys have around here." Rainbow replied. "We do know that. We'll take you to Master Eon." Pop Fizz said unamused. The nine of them walked towards the castle that they saw in the distance. When they arrived at the castle they met master Eon, a bearded wizard. Twilight thought he looked like Star Swirl the bearded as a human. Master Eon had a purple dragon next to him with red eyes. "Greetings Pop Fizz and Trigger Happy." Master Eon said. "Hello Master Eon." Trigger Happy said. "I see you've brought our visitors, I'm Master Eon and this is Spyro, and you are?" "Twilight Sparkle." "Rainbow Dash!" "PINKIE PIE!" "Apple Jack." "Rarity." "Um...I'm Fluttershy." "Pardon?" Master Eon said. "Fluttershy." Twilight said quickly. "We've been sent by our Princess to help defend Skylands." When Twilight said this Spyro perked up from his slouchy mood. "Wait what?!" Spyro exclaimed. "Master Eon that's our job!" "Yeah!" yelled Pop Fizz. "Let me explain." Master Eon said calmly "Their Princess has told me that they're very powerful and brave fighters and they've saved their kingdom from all kinds of danger, I felt like they could be a huge help to defeating Kaos, so just treat them like six more people to the team." "Yes Master Eon our apologies." Spyro, Pop Fizz, and Trigger Happy said at once. "Good, now all three of you, why don't you give these six a tour around Skylands?" "Yes Master Eon!" Spyro said enthusiastically. Spyro jumped off the platform where he was sitting and flew towards the six ponies. "Come on guys." Spyro said to Pop Fizz and Trigger Happy. //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 3~~ //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 3~~ Spyro, Pop Fizz, Trigger Happy and the gang were all walking/flying around Skylands. "My my! the scenery around here is just lovely!" Rarity said delighted. "I know, everything here is just so...fantasy-like!" Fluttershy replied. "We are kind of known for that." Spyro said. "What's it like where you're from?" Twilight flew in on the conversation. "Well, it is very calm, it's located south of Canterlot which is the Royal Kingdom and it's home to both our Princesses." "Oh, who are your Princesses?" Spyro asked. "Their names are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They control the sun and the moon." Twilight Replied. "Interesting." Spyro said, he was looking at Twilight's cutie mark. ~~Flashback~~ "Are you ready for your first lesson, Spyro?" Master Eon asked. "Yes Master!" Spyro said excitedly. "This is about the future of Skylands. Legend has it that three wise portal masters were able to predict the future of Skylands. They predicted that when the unknown enemy threatens Skylands a powerful Alicorn would rise and defeat the enemy using elements, but not the elements you're used to, young Spyro, a different kind of elements. They would call them   The Elements of Harmony." "Elements of Harmony?" Spyro asked. "Yes, Elements that bring peace to the land, filling it with joy. Without these elements, the enemy would banish all the Skylanders from Skylands and destroy us." Master Eon replied. "And what is an Alicorn?" "An alicorn is a horse that is both unicorn and pegasus so they can fly and use magic." Master Eon said. "Oh." "Here's a picture of what the portal masters drew out and predicted." Master Eon added. Eon placed a picture on the table of an alicorn using it's magic to form a giant star, destroying the evil with its great powers. ~~Back~~ "It all makes sense now!" Spyro thought. "She could be the one!" Rarity couldn't help but notice a dragon walking around who was basically a crystal. "Oh my goodness darling! Where'd you get those gems?!" Rarity squealed. "I was just born with them." The dragon said flattered. "Born? With with gems on your body?! My goodness I'm jealous!" Rarity replied. "They're actually my entire body." The dragon replied. "I'm Flashwing by the way!" "Oh my Celestia!" Rarity squealed. "I'm Rarity!" "Very nice to meet you!" Flashwing replied. "I see you're on a tour with Spyro and such?" "Why yes we are." Rarity said. "Oh, why?" Flashwing asked. "We're here to help you guys." Rarity answered. "Oh, well very nice to meet you!" Flashwing said unsure about these people whom she just met helping them. Twilight, Spyro, and the gang stopped to show the 6 ponies the core of light. "Now this is The Core of Light." Spyro announced. "It was made by ancient portal masters and keeps a balance of power in Skylands." "Interesting," Twilight said flying around it. "It's kind of like The Elements of Harmony." Spyro burst up into the air in suprise. Did she just say what he thought she said? "Did you just say elements of harmony?" Spyro yelled. "Um... yeah I di-" Twilight said. What interrupted her was the clash of thunder and lightning. "Kaos." Spyro said. "He's here." //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 5~~ //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 5~~ "You're on!" Rainbow Dash said glistening with excitement. "Alright. Let's go." Cynder replied. A few minutes later, the course was set up and the competators were lined up at the starting line. Twilight gracefully flew up to the audience cloud. "Oh boy this is so exciting! I can finally sit up here on a cloud without some kind of spell! Hey, where's Spyro?" "Spyro's down with Pop Fizz and Trigger Happy. You can't leave those two alone together, it would be very bad if you did." Whirlwind replied. "I think the race is about to start!" Fluttershy stood on a lonely cloud with the black and white checkered flag in her mouth. "Ah," she thought. "This is just like the good old days, let's just hope I don't spin off the cloud again." Fluttershy gently lifted the flag and struck it down. The dragon and pegasus were off. The two racers were flying at the speed of light, but Rainbow Dash was flying a little faster, so fast that it almost whipped Flynn out of his hot air balloon while passing by. "Woah!" he shouted. "That's fast! ...Woohoo!" Rainbow looked back at the creature cheering them on and looked back with a grin on her face. While all of that was happening, Cynder caught up to Rainbow Dash and did a shadow dash past her, making her closer to the surface. She looked back up at the blue pegasus and laughed. "Hey! you're flying too close the surface!" Rainbow yelled to Cynder. "Trust me, pony! I know what I'm doing!" Cynder retorted. Moments later, the dark purple dragon without noticing, hit her wing hard onto a statue of Master Eon. Cynder was falling rapidly to the ground. Spyro was looking from the ground and saw a purple ball that he mistaked for a comet, but really it was Cynder. "Wait is that?" Spyro said to himself. "Cynder? CYNDER!" He started to run towards her but was then stopped by Pop Fizz. "I don't think it's necessary, look!" Pop Fizz yelled. He spotted something else coming from the sky, a blue pony with a rainbow mane coming to save the hurt dragon. "I think it's Whirlwind!" Pop Fizz continued. "No, it's not Whirlwind, It's Rainbow Dash!" Trigger Happy shouted. After those words came out, he saw Rainbow Dash have a cone form around her and soon after, a rainbow exploded around her, sending the blue pegasus flying even faster than before. Meanwhile, up in the audience, Twilight was talking to Whirlwind about how she gained her wings and became a princess. "And then I was-" Twilight's conversation was cut off when she saw the explosion take place. "What was that!? I-I've never seen anything like it!" Whirlwind said in shock. "It's a Sonic RAINBOOM!" Twilight screamed. "Let's go Rainbow Dash! Woohoo!" "Yay!" Fluttershy said quietly from her cloud. The other ponies from the ground heard Twilight's cheering so they decided to cheer along with her. "Yeah Rainbow!" Apple Jack yelled. While all of this was happening, Rainbow Dash managed to speed up enough to catch Cynder and land her safely on the ground. Everyone came to meet them where they landed to see what has just happened. Rainbow sat there with Cynder, out of breath and her mane a mess. The others met her there in shock. Cynder's eyes were shut and she layed there motionless. "Cynder!" Spyro said worried. Cynder opened her eyes slowly. "Wha...what happened? All I remember was running into something and falling to my death, how am I still alive?" Spyro stepped forward. "This girl saved your life." He said. Cynder sat up to see Rainbow Dash looking at her, worried. "I-I don't know what to say...thank you!" Cynder said. Then she felt a rushing pain through her left wing. "Ouch!" Cynder screamed. "What's wrong?!" Rainbow Dash said. "It- it's my left wing!" Cynder replied in pain. Rainbow looked at her wing, it looked completely crumbled up and destroyed. "Oh no..." Rainbow said. Cynder's wing was broken. //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 7~~ //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 7~~ The group was walking around, looking at all of the strange floating islands and enjoying the sights until Pop Fizz reached behind his back. "Drats! I left my backpack at the nurse's office!" he said, then ran back over to the little office. When he got there, Blue-stone was gone, but he did see her yellow tail go into the back room. The nurse's office didn't have a back room. Pop Fizz got the smart idea to use his invisibility potion to figure out what was going on. The gremlin smashed a bottle on the gound and he turned invisible. "I'm a genius." Pop Fizz said. He walked over to the "back room" and found a portal, a portal that Pop Fizz wasn't familiar with, but, he stepped into it. There was a blinding light when he stepped in but on the other side was a secret hideout of some sort. he heard voices, so he went to investigate. "Yes, it's definately them." someone said. "What did they look like?" a familiar voice said. It sounded like Kaos. "Well one was blue with a Rainbow mane, representing the element of loyalty, one was yellow with a pink mane, representing the element of kindness, one is pink with a hot pink mane, representing the element of laughter, one was white with a purple mane, representing the element of generosity, I'm not sure what the orange one with a yellow mane was, and then there was a purple one, with a dark purple mane. I feel like she is important to Skylands, considering she has a mark with the magic symbol near her tail." The other voice replied. Pop Fizz walked forward and saw Blue-stone talking to Kaos! Thing is, there was another nurse Blue-stone locked up in a cage! This was so confusing... sitting along with Kaos was a pony with lots of holes in her feet, a dragon-like creature with many different animal parts for a body. Who were all of these guys? Why were they with Kaos? "Changeling, back to your normal form!" The pony with holes commanded. "Yes, Queen Chrysalis." Blue-stone replied. Suddenly Blue-stone hunched her back while a green circle formed around her. She suddenly grew wings similar to Queen Chrysalis and her horn curved out a little. The weird creature flew towards the queen. "I still don't know how you do that." Kaos said. "I could change into Eon and rule over Skylands like that! Ahahahaha!" Pop Fizz stood in shock, he had no idea what to say to the others. //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 4~~ //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 4~~ "Kaos." Spyro said. "He's back." Spyro was then interrupted from his heroic sounding moment to hear familiar laughs none other than Cynder and Whirlwind. "You should've seen the look on all of your faces!" Cynder laughed. "Nice job Whirlwind!" giving her winged friend a wing-five. "Hahaha," Rainbow Dash laughed. "That was a good one!" Cynder and Whirlwind paused for a moment. "A flying horse? Really?" "There's actually three of them." Whirlwind added. "Interesting." Cynder said. The deep purple dragon flew over to Rainbow Dash and started to pull at the blue pegasus' wings. "What kind of glue did you use to get these on here?" Spyro flew up to the scene of the cloud and met face to face with Cynder. "Um, I can be certain that her wings aren't fake. All of theirs as a matter of fact." "We'll see about that." Cynder said while stretching her purple wings. She looked at Rainbow Dash who was staring off into the clouds. "Hey, Rainbow smoothie! I want to challenge you to a race, are you in?" "Of course I-, I mean, you're on!" Rainbow said glistening with excitement. //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 6~~ //-------------------------------------------------------// ~~Chapter 6~~ "Your wing..." Rainbow Dash said. "It's broken!" "Oh no!" Spyro said clutching his own left wing. "Cynder, Let me take you to Nurse Blue-stone!" "No I'll take her there," Rainbow replied. "After all this is my fault." "How is this your fault? It's mine, I can walk myself there!" Cynder snapped still in pain. She started running all the way to town to find Nurse Blue-stone. The others soon caught up to her. ~~~Nurse office~~~ Cynder ran into a little doctor's office and saw a blue unicorn with a mane similar to Fluttershy's caring for hurt Skylanders and animals. It was Nurse Blue-Stone. "Nurse Blue-Stone!" Cynder yelled, catching the attention of all the patients in the room as well as the nurse. "Yes Cynd- oh my goodness what happened to your wing?" The unicorn said. "You don't wanna know, could you help me?" Cynder Replied. "Of course." she replied. Blue-Stone grabbed some bandages with her magic and proceeded to wrap them around Cynder's wing. Later, the six ponies, Spyro, Pop Fizz, and Trigger Happy all head into the small nurse's office. They see Cynder with her wing all wrapped up and she was calmed down, resting on a bed to the right. "Ugh I hate being in here!" Pop Fizz whined. Spyro gave him a stare to stop whining and be quiet. "Hey Cynder, how are you?" Rainbow said to her. "Fine, sorry I snapped at you earlier, I was just in a lot of pain." Cynder replied. "I have to admit, you're an amzing flyer, and you saved my life, that's some real loyalty and sportsmanship." This made Rainbow Dash gleam with confidence. Suddenly the six ponies look to their left and see Nurse Blue-stone trying to settle down some hurt birds trying to fly with a hurt wing. Fluttershy flew forward. "Oh, hello...Do you need any help? I'll help you." Fluttershy said. "Why that is very kind of you! Of course!" Blue-stone replied. Fluttershy crept over to one bird trying to fly. "No no no, little birdy! You can't fly yet, you must rest, then you'll get better!" Fluttershy said to it. The yellow pegasus gently grabbed the bird and placed it back into it's bed. The bird soon relaxed itself. "There you go," Fluttershy said to it. "Kindness...: Blue-stone thought. The others stared in amazment. "She's goood." Trigger Happy said. "Thanks so much! This would've kept me up all night!" Blue-stone said. "Any I could do to help." Fluttershy replied. "We should get going." Twilight said. "Nice meeting you Blue-stone!" Then all of them walked out.
