Chapters Ah' remember what it was like growin' up, jus' like it was yesterday! We, The Cutie Mark Crusaders were young fillies, an' we would spend every hour together! But like ah' said, that was when we were growin' up. Lemme introduce mah' self. Mah' name is Apple Bloom and ah' live on Sweet Apple Acres with mah family, Applejack, Big Mac, and Granny Smith. Now, lemme start on the day that we got our Cutie Marks. Then ah'll tell y'all about now.
We were all 13 years old. We were sittin' round' in our club house, thinking about what we could do to get our cutie mark.
Rarity let us borrow her boutique. Ah' was so excited! We each sat down at table and began sketching our ideas. Mine looked like something that Rarity would design. I showed mine to Sweetie Belle, an' she acted kinda jealous.
Her's looked like somethin' else. What I mean is, it looked terrible! Scootalo made hers worse than Sweetie Belle! She added a Mohawk, and little rainbow streamers at the end of the outfit! Then we took some fabric, an' we made our dresses! When we finished, Sweetie Belle an' Scootalo were lookin' ta see if they had their cutie mark.
Ah' was too busy adding a little bit more glitter to my dress. But as soon as ah' heard them gasp, ah' just knew somethin was up! So ah' turned an' I looked at my flank, and their it was. A mannequin pony wearin a dress. Ah' was so happy!
_________________________________________________________________________________________ I remember the day that I got my mark like it was just yesterday! You may have heard Apple Bloom's story, but mine is way better! My name is Scootalo, and here is how I got my mark.
We were still 13 at the time, and I remember Apple Bloom's face when she found out her mark! She was making a super girly dress that Rarity would. I thought it was OK, but anyway, she was so happy! But then she looked at our flanks and noticed that we didn't have ours yet. I knew she felt pretty bad for us.
She decided that we could pretend that she still didn't have one yet! So, that's what we did. Later that day, we went to a dance studio. Sweetie Belle thought that dancing would be her talent. I also knew that we would all have to dance too. I just imagined that I was on my scooter. I closed my eyes, and started doing some random moves.
Soon I heard some hooves clapping behind me. When I opened my eyes, I noticed that I was upside down. I thought it was funny though. Anyway, I stood up and walked over to Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle, who had already taken off their dance outfits. I was taking off mine, when I heard Apple Bloom gasp. I just shrugged and figured that Sweetie Belle had gotten hers.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was here, because at the time, I hated dancing. Anyway, I looked at her flank, and noticed that she didn't have one. Sweetie Belle and I just glanced up, and noticed that she was looking at me . So, I looked down and saw that I had one! Mine is a dancing pony.
I soon learned to love my talent though. What especially inspired me to like it, is that Rainbow Dash likes it. She keeps it a secret though. She likes it because one of the Wonderbolts is a dancer too! I was pretty happy when I got my Cutie Mark.
___________________________________________________________________________________ Hi! My name is Sweetie Belle! You know the other Crusaders, Apple Bloom and Scootalo. I'm Sweetie Belle. I was sad when I found out that Scootalo and Apple Bloom got their Cutie Marks before me, but I was also happy for them. When they went off to show their family their mark, I was sitting in the club house.
I was trying to think of my special talent, when I suddenly thought of my favorite thing! Talking. But then I thought that there isn't any cutie mark for singing, so I just sat down, until I started singing the song I Am Octavia . I sing it when I'm sad.
I started writing some music notes down, and started singing them. Suddenly, Apple Bloom and Scootalo came in.
"Hey" Apple Bloom said. "Look at your flank!" She sounded excited.
Suddenly, I looked at my flank, and I saw it, a big music note on it. I was soo happy!!
I let out a big gasp, and couldn't stop jumping. I finally got my Cutie Mark!
But, little did we know, things would go downhill from there.....

The next day, we all decided ta' meet up after school. We noticed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon comin' up ta' us. "Hey blank fl-" Diamond Tiara started, but then came to a stop. "Like our Cutie Marks?" I asked smugly.
Diamond stood still, her mouth agape. Silver Spoon opened her eyes, confused as to why Diamond Tiara had cut off. Then she noticed. "Y-you got your cutie marks." She stuttered in disbelief. We just nodded our heads, and headed over to our club house.
"So what did ya' want ta' talk about?" Ah' asked Scootalo, curious as ta' why she wanted ta' meet up.
"Take a seat." She said, nervously.
"Scootalo, whats this about?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I was dancing in the studio yesterday, when I was given an offer." She responded, clearly more nervous than before.
"And?" Ah pried, wanting ta' know more.
"It was an offer to go to Canterlot and join the 'Wonder Dalts'" She answered.
"Wonder Dalts? What the hay is that?" Sweetie Belle inquired.
"It's what those stupid high-class ponies call their dance team." Scootalo stated, sounding defiant.
"Well, what did ya say?" Ah asked. Ah really didn't want her ta' leave us.
"I said yes." Scootalo replied.
The room was silent. I felt that Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle needed to know. How could they not think that I'd accept the offer? Were best friends for crying out loud! Although, I kinda did think they wouldn't approve. We are , after all, best friends. I feel bad now....
"You did what?!" Apple Bloom suddenly screeched, knocking me from my thoughts.
"I thought you'd feel happy for me.." I said, feeling sad.
Apple Bloom's expression suddenly changed to shame and sadness. "Ah'm sorry Scootalo. Ah' jus' didn't expect that is all."
"It's OK Apple Bloom." I said reassuringly. I knew she didn't mean to hurt me. I think I would be shocked too if Apple Bloom had just come out and said, "Howdy Y'all, I'm leaving your sorry asses to join a fashion business in Canterlot!" Of course, she wouldn't say it like that .
"Y-you're really leaving?" Sweetie Belle asked sadly.
"Yeah. I even talked it over with Rainbow Dash, and she said I shouldn't let this offer go to waste." I said.
"This must feel like a slap in the face to them...." was my only thought.
"P-please don't leave us!" She cried.
I looked at her, sadness in my eyes. I gave her a hug, and felt a drop fall down my face.
"Is it raining in here?" I thought. Suddenly I realized something. "It's my first time crying...."
I slowly left the hug, and flew home, in hopes of seeing Rainbow Dash.
Once I arrived, I noticed that she was home, but asleep on the couch, her WonderBolts uniform hanging off the arm.
As soon as I left the room, I heard her wake up.
"Rainbow Dash?" I asked.
"Hey, what's up kid?" She responded, reaching out for a hug.
"Do you honestly think that I should leave?" I searched her eyes for an answer, only to find sadness.
"Yeah kid. You'll do great. You'll fulfill your dream, and besides, I can always visit you!" She answered, obviously holding back tears. "Are you sure?" Was the only thing I could manage before tears started falling from my eyes.
Rainbow Dash pulled me in a tight hug, and I could feel her tears running down my back.
"I'm really gonna miss you." She whispered.
"I'm gonna miss you too." I replied.
For the rest of the night, Rainbow and I slept on the couch, since those would be our last hours together before I left to Canterlot in the morning. Rainbow was my sister, and best friend. I would really miss her when I'm gone. I can't believe that I just gave up my friends, and only family just to dance.
In the morning, once I woke up Rainbow, I quickly packed up my stuff and flew to the train station. I was eager to arrive, and I couldn't wait to dance! Once I got there, I could see the train slowly pulling into the station. Rainbow wrapped me in a warm hug, and gave me a quick goodbye.
I quickly boarded the train, and headed for the nearest seat. Suddenly, a colt plopped down next to me. He looked about my age, and he looked cute . Cute.... Cute.... How am I familiar with this word?
The colt noticed me staring at him and blushed. "So, where are you going?" He asked, looking around.
"I'm going to the Wonder Dalts academy..." I responded, still looking at his face.
He was white with an electric blue mane. His cutie mark had two ponies doing a tango with music notes.
He just nodded and finally looked over at me. I felt happy that I could finally make a new friend. Not just with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "So, what's your name?" I asked.
"My name is Midnight Tango." He replied.
"So, where are you from?" I prodded, curious about him.
"You sure you wanna know?" He asked playfully.
"Well duh, why do you think I asked?" She laughed.
"Well, you already know my name, but anyway, I'm from Las Pegasus, and I arrived in PonyVille yesterday. I'm also going to the Wonder Dalts dancing academy. Anyway, I was born in Las Pegasus, and raised by both parents. When I was about 5, my Dad, Dancing Moon, died in a fire, leaving me with my Mom, Shining Stars. She passed away last year. Now I'm staying with my Grandma, Little Light." He answered.
I wiped a tear from my face and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry about your parents." I whispered. I felt bad for him. Only having a grandma. I know how he feels. I only have Rainbow Dash. "So," He said looking at me, "What about you?"
I looked out the window for a few moments before starting. "My name is Scootalo. I live in PonyVille with my sister, Rainbow Dash. Our parents died when I was only 4." I broke off, remembering the tragic accident that took their lives. "Then, when I learned how to actually use these," I said, pointing to my wings, "We moved into a CloudHouse. Later, we moved, I couldn't stand being far from my friends. Then, I got my cutie mark." I finished.
Later, we moved to the food cart to get some food. We ate a few things. Once we finished, we grabbed our stuff and headed to a bunking cabin. It was then I finally noticed that he was also a pegasus. I facehooved at my sudden realization and put my last bag up. "Night!" He whispered. "Night!" I whispered back.
Soon, the only noise was the snoring of a few other ponies who were also in the cabin...
When I woke up, I noticed that we were close to Canterlot. I yawned and climbed down the ladder to see Midnight Tango stirring. When he woke up, we walked to the food cabin together. "Morning." I said, smiling as we sat down.
"Morning" He responded, sounding tired. He didn't talk for the rest of the conversation, but I didn't mind.
Once we ate, we grabbed our luggage and sat in a regular seat, waiting for our stop to come.
"Midnight, I wanna ask you something." I said, kinda blushing. "Yeah?" He asked.
"I know we just met, but I was hoping we could be best friends. I want to get kinda close to you." I finished.
He sat, processing what I had said, and then nodded. "Sure. I do think we could get close, since our parents died." He then laid out some cards. "Wanna play?" He asked, bringing a smile to my face.
When the train stopped, we got off and walked through the busy streets trying to navigate where we were supposed to go.
Once we reached the building we noticed a pony waiting. It looked like the one that had given me the offer. "Is that Tango?" I asked rhetorically. "I think so.." Midnight answered anyway. "Welcome my students!" She said. "Come on in! You'll wait inside while everyone else comes, that way you won't be cold." She said warmly.
Once we walked inside, I felt that I had made the right choice by coming here. A new story was about to unfold right in front of me.
I was sitting with Apple Bloom in her tree house. Things just wouldn't be the same without Scootalo here.
"So. What do you want to do?" I asked, bored outta my mind.
"Ah dunno. Maybe we could go ta Rarity's shop an' make some dresses?" Apple Bloom suggested.
"Nah. I can't make any good designs. Wanna sing?" I suggested.
"Nah. Ah can't sing." She said.
"Let's see if Applejack could put us to work then?" I asked.
"Nah. I'm gonna head over ta Rarity. She can put me ta some fun work." Apple Bloom declared, leaving.
Now, I was all alone. I left the club house. I figured since we couldn't do anything fun I could at least have some. I was headed to the School House, when I noticed some posters that were hanging up.
Do you Love to sing? Then come on down to the School House for the first Chorus Meeting! Starts at 4:00 P.M
Seems like fun..... I looked at a clock that was hanging up. It was only 3:30. I galloped down to the school house as fast as my legs could carry me. I noticed that Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara, and Twist were the only other ones there. When I walked inside, I got a distant sounding 'hello' from Twist. She was my best friend, until D.T and S.S Convinced her to ditch me.
I took a seat next to Twist, and waited for the Chorus teacher to arrive. It was probably Cheerilee.
"Hey Twist." I said finally.
"Hey." Was the last thing she said to me. When she finally arrived , she wrote some basic notes up on the black board. I recognized them right away, even though I haven't seen them before.
"Can any pony tell me which note this is?" Cheerilee asked.
My hoof went straight up. "Yes Sweetie?" Cheerilee called out.
"That would be the high note above c." I answered, shocking Diamond, Silver, and Twist.
Cheerilee smiled, and wrote another note on the board.
"Sweetie?" She called out again.
"Half note."
"Sweetie, may I see you after chorus?" Cheerilee asked, still calm.
I was nervous, I was only asked to stay after class when I got in trouble for something. I nodded slowly, and looked towards Twist, who just shrugged her shoulders.
"Time for warm-ups!" Cheerilee called out. "Now, repeat after me. Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Re, Do"
Diamond Tiara started first. "Dough, Ray, Me, Fah, Sew, Lah, Tea, Ray, Dough!!!" She screeched.
Every pony in the classroom, besides Diamond, covered their ears.
I decided to go next.
"Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti Do!" My voice rang out beautifully.
Everyone else went, and Chorus was over faster than you could say Neigh!
"Sweetie Belle, I don't think you should be in chorus." Cheerilee began.
I was holding back tears. I thought I did pretty good.
Suddenly she handed me a flyer. "I think you should be in this chorus."
My mouth went agape. This was a flyer for Advanced chorus.
"Thank you so much Cheerilee!" I excitedly said.
I ran from the school to tell Apple Bloom all about it. I knew she would feel happy for me!
When I arrived at Carousel Boutique, I ran right inside, eager to tell Apple Bloom about what had just happened. However, when I ran inside, I didn't see anyone downstairs. When I walked upstairs, I saw them working in my room working on my special work bench. It's used for doing school work.
I walked up to the door, about to ask what was going on, when I over heard their conversation.
"Oops. Sorry Rarity, ah accidentally poked a hole in tha desk!" Apple Bloom said.
"It's OK darling! It's not even mine! Although I must say, you darling, are indeed the most wonderful sister that I've never had! You are like a rare gem! I just wish you were my sister and not Applejack's!"
I couldn't stand anymore. I bolted from the room, startling them, I ran, far into the everfree forest.
I think I'm going to end up doing this Chorus. As long as I never have to see Rarity or Apple Bloom again. I always thought that Rarity loved me. I always thought Apple Bloom was my friend, but I guess I was wrong.
When it was late, I started to walk home. I passed Sweet Apple Acres, and our, I mean, Apple Bloom's tree house. The only things in my mind were negative. My head down, the entire time. When I had finally arrived home, I heard Rarity in the kitchen. "Sweetie Belle, is that you?" She called. I put on my best Apple Bloom impression, and said, "No Rarity, it's me! Ah jus' came by to say goodnight." "Oh. Well, I've talked it over with Applejack and you're gonna be my new sister." Rarity said.
"WHAT?!" I screeched. I was really hurt.
Rarity walked in, Apple Bloom by her side. Apple Bloom just waved a hoof. "Hey Sweetie! How're ya doin'?"
"Sorry, but I don't talk to ponies who hate me, and would rather have my friends as a sister instead of me! " I yelled, glaring at them, tears falling from my eyes. Hurt crossed my face as both of them smiled.
"Sweetie, we wer-" Rarity began, but I cut her off.
"No! Don't talk to me!" I cried running up to my room. I locked my door and laid on my bed. Now I was really going to do the Advanced Chorus. I don't care how many time they beg and plead, I'm still going.
Rarity an' ah just looked at each other with shock. "Do ya think she heard what we was talkin' 'bout earlier?" Ah asked. Ah was worried about Sweetie Belle. Besides, Rarity an' ah was only jokin' earlier. I wouldn't want to be Rarity's sister. Ah jus' can't deal with her everyday. Ah only come to work on the fabric!
"No Apple Bloom, I think she grew wings and flew to Las Pegasus." She replied sarcastically.
"Ah think we should clear things up a bit, before she decides ta move to Canterlot." Ah replied.
We walked up the stairs, quickly. Ah didn't want to lose another friend. Honestly, losing Scootalo is already enough!
Once we finally reached the top step, ah galloped quickly over to Sweetie Belle's door. *KNOCK KNOCK *
Silence. Ah knocked on the door again, and she finally opened the door, glaring at us.
"What do you want?" She asked snidely.
"Sweetie Darling, we just want to talk!" Rarity said, pleadingly.
"There's nothing left to say." She responded, trying to close the door. Ah reached my hoof out, and stopped it.
"Let us in." I demanded angrily. Why the hell did she think I wanted Rarity as a sister so bad?
"No!" She yelled, putting more force into the door. This time it closed, and Ah heard her leaving the door. Perhaps ah could buck it down?
"Hey Rarity." Ah whispered, pointin' ta a near by spot. She noticed, and followed me over into the corner.
"What is it Darling?" She whispered, trying not to let Sweetie Belle listen.
"You an' Sweetie Belle may be mad at me." Ah' whispered back, nervously.
"Why would I be mad at you?" She whispered, curiously.
"Ah think ah know how ta get us in there." Ah replied.
"OK then how?" Rarity asked, clueless.
"Rarity, how do ya think they get tha apples outta tha trees?" Ah asked annoyed with her ignorance.
"Bucking the trees?" She answered, still clueless.
"Oh for petes sake! Ah'm goin' ta buck tha dang door down!" Ah whispered furiously. Her expression changed from confusion, to shock, to normal.
"OK, do whatever you have to do." Was her only response.
We walked quietly over to the door. First, ah knocked, ta make sure she was still inside, an' awake.
Ah put my ear up to the door, an' heard her get up, hesitate, an' sit back down where ever the hay she was sittin' before.
Ah nodded towards Rarity, and she gave me the nod of approval that ah could buck down the door. It was mah only option, considering the fact that she wouldn't just walk over and open up the dang door!
Ah prepared my back legs, and then slammed them firmly against the door. Ah then turned around, an' noticed that it flew off off it's hinges an' landed near Sweetie's vanity.
"WHAT THE HELL?" She yelled, turnin' to look an' see me, in place of where her door used ta be.
Ah suddenly blushed, and let tha shocked Rarity walk in.
"Sweetie Belle, it was our only option, you wouldn't let us in anyway!" She said, still angry.
"Well why the hay would I? You both talked about how you wanted to be each others sisters! Why shouldn't I even be mad at you?" Sweetie questioned furiously.
Ah was at loss of words. Ah mean, sure Sweetie had times when she was made, but never like this!
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't leave right now? I came over, so happy to tell you guys, to find you gossiping! About me !" Sweetie Bell sounded even more furious, tears running down her cheeks, as she held out the flyer for the Advanced Chorus that Cheerilee had given her.
"Sweetie I'm s-" Rarity began, but Sweetie Belle cut her off.
"No, I don't wanna hear all that bullshit. I'm leaving tonight." She said.
Rarity had tears falling down her cheeks, as she said, "Sweetie, we were only kidding with each other. If you had came in earlier, you would've know. I also have know idea why you think that I'd replace you. I thought we were best friends, but obviously, that wasn't true. I was happy to see you tonight, but now darling, after you've treated me like this, I'll be glad that you're gone." Rarity said painfully.
Ah had no trouble detecting that Rarity didn't mean what she had just said. Sweetie Belle however, just stood still, tears coming down faster, her mouth agape.
"You want me gone?" She finally asked, her tears finally stopping, her voice hoarse.
"Of course we don't!" Ah tried to say. Ah didn't want her ta leave, but ah knew that however hard ah tried, it wouldn't work.
Sweetie Belle pulled out her saddle bag and started packing. Tomorrow, she would be heading to Las Pegasus, or at least that's what it said on the flyer.
Ah stood still crying. When ah could finally move, ah ran all the way home. Ah knew Sweetie couldn't do this! Ah would be left alone here in PonyVille. As soon as ah reached some fields, ah knew that ah was close ta home. Ah could see the porch lights on, and Granny's vacant rocking chair. Ah began to wonder if she was waitin' for me.
When ah walked inside, ah saw Applejack on the couch, and Granny asleep in her rocking chair that was in the living room.
Big Mac must be asleep. Applejack heard me approaching and looked up, her eyes tired.
"Well howdy Apple Bloom! You've been out late!" She said, happily, knowing ah was home safe. She started ta give me a hug, but then stopped, upon noticing my tears.
"What's wrong sugar cube?" She asked with a frown. Ah knew that ah couldn't lie ta Applejack, so ah just spilled the beans, and told her everything. She just nodded, looking at the ground. Ah knew that she would also feel sad about Sweetie Belle leaving.
"Is there anythin' we can do?" Ah asked desperately. Applejack shook her head, and ah felt disappointment and sadness flood my body.
"Nope, ah'm afraid not. Sweetie is the boss of herself, so ah'm afraid that we can't do anythin'" Was her only response. Ah sadly walked upstairs. Ah guess that means Rarity would be hiring a new helper soon. Since she is my mentor, ah guess that means ah can work there. 'Specially with Sweetie gone. Ah opened the door to ma room, and fell on my bed. As the tiredness had finally reached me, ah felt guilt for what ah'd done. Ah closed my eyes, an' let the darkness consume me...
When ah woke up in the mornin' ah noticed that there was ah note on ma dresser. Ah got up and walked over to, curious to know what contents it held.
Dear Apple Bloom,
Rarity stopped by today, wanting ta offer you ah job!
She also mentioned that you would have ta move in for the job.
Jus' thought ah'd let ya know! ~Applejack
Ah was excited! Ah would get a job, an' ah'd get ta stay with Rarity! Ma week just couldn't get any better! Ah was about to go over to the phone to tell Scootalo when ah suddenly remembered, and then ah thought about calling Sweetie, when ah had then remembered the nights events. A night ah do not wish to remember.
Ah walked downstairs and saw Rarity an' Applejack talkin'. Looked like they were in ah pretty heated argument.
"No Rarity. Ah won't let ya take my little sister! Ya drove yours away already! Ah won't let ya take mine!" Applejack roared.
"Why not?! She can't just live with you forever! What about when she wants her own place, or a job? She doesn't have a cutie mark for apples ya know!" Rarity roared back.
Ah just sat on the stairs watching them. Finally ah got the courage ta say something.
"Stop!" Ah yelled.
Both of 'em jus' looked at me, as if they didn't know ah was there.
"Rarity, jus' move yer dang shop down here! Applejack, Rarity has a point. Ah can't jus' live here forever! Seriously!" Ah was agitated.
Rarity facehooved, but Applejack looked as if she had actually understood what ah had said.
"That's not a bad idea!" Applejack said.
"I can't just move it down here . Do you know how long that would take?" Rarity asked, rolling her eyes.
"Fine then. Ah'll move in with ya, but only if ya recognize my wants. That is tha price, if ya won't move down here." Ah said.
Rarity considered my thought for a few moments, and finally agreed. Applejack looked brokenhearted, that ah was movin'.
Ah couldn't stand it anymore. Ah turned an' looked at her. "Applejack?" Ah asked. She looked up, her eyes full of tears.
"Why?" She asked. Ah got up and gave her a hug.
"Ma first demand is that ah get ta pick ma days off." Ah said.
Rarity thought, against my idea at first, but then she finally accepted it.
"Ya hear that?" Ah asked, looking at Applejack. "Ah get ta pick mah days off! Ah'll come an' see ya whenever ah want!" Ah told her in delight.
Ah was lookin' forward to mah first day at the Carousel Boutique!
Wonder Dalts Dancing Academy
Today I woke up, excited to face the day, because were going to get dancing partners! I never thought I'd love dancing, but then again, I'd never done it, so I always thought it was lame. I hope I get to have Midnight Tango as a partner! It would be really exciting. Even though I'd only arrived here yesterday, I already feel at home here! Speaking of home, I really do miss everyone, and I hope Rainbow Dash is doing okay. She put on quite a show while I was leaving.
I hopped out of bed and started to go downstairs, when I was stopped by something strange. I felt something strange on my hooves, and looked down. I was standing in a pile of something red. Blood maybe? While I'm not one to freak out, this did kinda scare me. I walked over to bathroom and washed my hooves. While I was putting some soap on my hooves, I could smell tomatoes. I then knew I was being pranked with ketchup. I walked back up to my room, and heard one of my roommates stirring.
I heard her raise up slowly, and scream, upon seeing the ketchup. The other, I could hear laughing. It was obviously her who left the ketchup.
"Why're you laughing?" Fire Glitz asked, frightened.
"Because it was all a prank!" Dashing Shimmy explained, laughing.
Fire processed this, and started laughing too, until she noticed I was missing.
"Um, Dashing?" Fire asked worried, "Where's Scootalo?" Dashing stopped laughing, and looked around, and noticed the ketchup trail that lead to the bathroom, where they disappeared.
"Oh, she's probably downstairs." Dashing replied, getting off of her bed. She grabbed some cleaning supplies and tossed a towel and spray bottle over to Fire. Fire looked down and stared.
"Well?" Dashing asked, starting to clean, "Aren't you gonna help?"
"Oh" Fire responded, getting to work.
Suddenly, I had an idea. I was gonna get Dashing back, and I knew just how I'd do it. Once Dashing got close to the door, I would jump out and scare her. After all, it is how I roll.
Dashing, who was absorbed in her work didn't notice me. As soon as she got close enough, I jumped out in front of her, and I screamed. Dashing jumped back in shock, her head looking up quickly to see me laughing. Apparently I scared Fire too, because she was trying to hold onto the ceiling. As soon as she recovered, Dashing flew up to get Fire before she fell.
Once Fire was returned to the floor, Dashing turned and glared at me.
"What?" I asked.
"That wasn't very funny." Dashing replied rudely.
"Why is it, when you pull jokes it's funny, yet when I want to pull a joke, you flip the hay out?" I asked angrily.
"Because mine are funny ." She sneered.
Fire looked over at me, and smiled and little. After a few minutes of silence, she finally spoke.
"Please excuse my filly friend." She said, blushing. Dashing turned around, eyes wide in shock,
"Dude, what the hay? I thought we were gonna keep it a secret?!"
I laughed. It was funny watching them go back and forth. After watching them fight continuously, I finally walked downstairs, and found the teacher, Orange Tango, waiting for us, and Midnight Tango sitting, his head down. He was probably still tired. Orange just sighed, until she saw me.
"Good Morning Scootalo!" She greeted me warmly.
"Good Morning Ms. Tango, Midnight." I replied happily. I was somehow always happy when Midnight was around. I got a feeling around him as well, but I chose to ignore it. I always ignore feelings that I don't know, mainly because if I listen to it, it'll end up like it did with my first friends.
I noticed that Dashing and Fire were coming down the stairs too, but Orange Tango either didn't notice, or she didn't care.
Fire came over, and took a seat next to me and Midnight. I looked over a Midnight and smiled. He was kinda cute, especially with his beautiful head hanging down. Suddenly, he lifted his head and noticed me staring at him. We both blushed and looked away. I was glad that I met him, and that we could be best friends. I wouldn't change anything in the world, because, now my life seemed perfect...

Apparently, I was wrong. Today after class, we got two latecomer students, and it feels like they want to make my life a living hell. They're both very rude, and they pull the worst pranks on me. Now, because of them, I feel like I won't have a chance with Midnight! Wait, did I just think that? Ugh, never mind, anyway, they are both girls. Sunset Breeze, and Shining Shimmer. Sunset Breeze is a Sunkissed orange, with a teal mane. Shining Shimmer however, is teal with a Sunkissed orange mane. They would totally ruin my chances with Midnight! I swear, they are always by his side, flirting with him!!
As I started walking down the hall, I heard some familiar voices, and some snicking. They were just around the corner, so I hid behind a door, and cracked it. Sunset Breeze and Midnight stood outside of the door.
"So, do you have a mare friend?" Sunset asked, twirling her mane. She batted her eyes, and looked away shyly.
"N-no." Midnight struggled to say.
"Good." She breathed, and then leaned in to kiss him. He backed up, but she knew better. She grasped him with her horn, so he couldn't move. I couldn't stand another minute of this.
"Stop!" I yelled out, jumping from my spot. I pulled out my wings, and broke him from her magic grasp. Midnight landed on his feet, whereas I landed on my side, with a small thud. I pretended to be unconscious from the fall, to see what they would do next.
Sunset was still recovering from what had just happened, and Midnight was down at my side, his head on my chest, trying to find my heartbeat.
"She's okay." He muttered, sounding relieved. Sunset walked over towards Midnight, grasping him in her magic again.
"Mark my words Nighty." She said, trying to sound alluring, "I will get that kiss, forced or not!" with that, she dropped Midnight, and took off down the hall.
"Thank you." Midnight muttered, kissing me on the cheek. He then ran down the hall, looking for the nurse. I then blacked out. Not because of the kiss, but because I felt a sudden sharp pain in my sides.
When I woke up, Midnight was by my bed, and so was Orange Tango. I started rubbing my eyes, and Midnight took noticed in my movements.
"She's awake." Midnight said to Orange.
"W-what happened?" I asked. Midnight looked at me, his eyes full of care. He studied me for a few minutes before finally responding.
"You were saving me from Sunset Breeze's attack, and then you fell to the ground. Not long after,Shining Shimmer came after you, and started beating you."
My eyes went wide. I was shocked at the last part.
"Can I still dance?" I asked nervously.
Orange let off a small chuckle. "Of course you can dear!" She responded.
Midnight gave me hug and asked me if I needed help getting to my room. I happily accepted, and we walked down the halls, leaving the nurses room. Once we got to my room, he gave me a brief hug before saying goodnight. As I opened the door, I heard some voices. I stopped my actions, and put my ear to the door.
"Omg, she friggin stopped meh from kissin him!" Sunset said unhappily. "He's my stallion friend! She wouldn't let me kiss him!"
"Yeah right.." Dashing replied.
I walked inside the room, and Sunset suddenly closed her mouth.
"Oh hey Scootalo!" She said innocently.
"Hey." Shining said softly, sadness in her eyes.
"Don't hey me." I said snidely. "First, you grab Midnight and try to kiss him, and I have to save him. Then I was almost BEAT TO DEATH!" I yelled the last part, glaring at Sunset and Shining.
Dashing and Fire gasped, and looked at them both with angry looks in their eyes. Sunset glared at me as I walked past, and Shining gave me a sad look, as if she were sorry. I had already enough with them already! As soon as I reached my bed, I laid on it, and fell asleep. I just needed some rest, and maybe I would feel better in the morning.
When I woke up in the morning, I looked in my mirror, fear that Sunset had done something to me. I sighed in relief, and went through my things. When I noticed nothing was wrong, I set my bag back down on the floor. I looked up, and noticed Sunset was gone, and Fire was looking at me with curious eyes.
"What's wrong?" She finally asked.
"Nothing. I'm just worried that she might've done something while I was asleep." I replied.
As soon as I walked out, I had an encounter with Shining.
"Hi." She greeted me, sheepishly. I ignored her and kept on walking down the hall. When she caught up with me, I opened my wings and flew down the stairs. I walked over to see Midnight cornered by Sunset, looking scared, and no sign of Orange. I walked slowly over to Midnight. I knew he would be angry if his first kiss was with someone as awful as Sunset.
When I arrived, he looked relieved.
"Hey." I greeted him. He smiled and nodded, and Sunset turned her head and glared. She backed up however, when she saw Shining behind me. I glared at both of them, and stood next to Midnight. At that moment, Dashing had flown down the stairs, Fire levitating, her horn fired up, heading over to us.
"Hey." They both greeted in unison. We all nodded, curious as to where Orange was. As if on cue, Orange had appeared from the hallway, looking sleepy.
"Sorry." She said.
Then we all left for practice.

Tomorrow was the day that I'd get to go and visit everyone in PonyVille! I'd get to see Rainbow Dash, and Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Bell, and Applejack, and Rarity! I hopped out of bed happily, and walked downstairs. I heard some snickering behind me, and turned around to see Sunset.
"I can't believe that you'd actually walk around like that ." She said, and walked away.
I rushed upstairs and walked into the bathroom. What I saw shocked me. I drew in some air, and closed the door crying.
Sunset had written on my head while I was asleep, and the worst thing was, it was written in black.
It said, "SCOOTALO SUCKS EGGS AND MIDNIGHT"
I couldn't embarrass Midnight by walking downstairs and letting everyone see, so I just said in the bathroom washing it off. It took almost an hour before it got off. When I got downstairs, I saw a group of the other ponies sitting around. Sunset was telling them something funny, and they all stopped laughing when they saw me. One girl turned to Sunset and said,
"Sunset, I thought you said she had 'something' written on her head? You clearly lied to us, just to look cool." Then the entire group left. Orange lead a few more groups to the dancing room, giving my group some free time. I was planning on chatting with Midnight, when I turned around and saw Shining.
"What do you want?" I asked rudely.
"I just wanted to say that I was sorry." She replied.
"For what?" I asked as if I didn't care.
"For what I did. It was wrong. Even if Sunset did force me, I still shouldn't done it." She said sincerely, and held out a hoof.
I hesitated for a minute, before holding out mine. We both shook. I guess we were friends. Afterwards, I walked over to Midnight, and we talked for a bit. He was coming with me to PonyVille tomorrow! I was so happy! Not only did I achieve more friends in only three days, but now I had a friend going with me to PonyVille tomorrow! It was going to be really exciting going with a new friend!
I woke up and put on my saddle-bags. I noticed that Rarity was still asleep, so I left a note and headed out. Just as I was about to leave, I noticed Derpy delivering the mail. I grabbed the letter and began to read it.
Dear Sweetie Belle,
I hope I've caught you at a good time!
I'm coming in town to visit you guys today, and I just can't wait!
I'm also bringing my new friend along! Can't wait to see you!

I folded up the letter and put it in my saddle-bags. I would leave when Scootalo left. We would be going to the same place after all! I remember calling and telling Cheerilee that I couldn't go to the original location, so I would have to go someplace else. Cheerilee had told me to go to the other one which was located in Canterlot. I had gladly accepted, after all, I would be closer to Scootalo, whether we could hang out or not!
I headed over to the train station and sat down on a bench. I would purchase her ticket when Scootalo would, so we would get the same time ticket. I knew Rarity and Apple Bloom wouldn't mind me leaving anyway. It's not like Rarity actually treated me like a sister, more like a servant.
Soon Scootalo's train arrived, and I waited early for Scootalo to get off. She and her friend ended up getting off last.
I looked off into the distance as if I didn't notice them. I did know that Scootalo loved to surprise us! As I looked off into the distance, I noticed Apple Bloom approaching.
"Good grief!" I thought.
I turned my head, and jumped in surprised to see Scootalo there. Scootalo started laughing, and soon I joined in. Once our laughing fit was over, Scootalo had tried to catch her breath as she noticed Apple Bloom approaching.
"OK." Scootalo had finally said when everyone was there. "Sweetie, this is Midnight Tango. Midnight, this is Sweetie Belle. Apple, this is Midnight, Midnight this Apple Bloom."
Everyone shook hooves. I couldn't help but notice how attractive Midnight was. I smiled as he was the only thing that clouded her thoughts.
"Sweetie?" Scootalo asked, breaking me from my thoughts. Scootalo had just asked me a question, and I didn't know the answer to it.
"Uh, what?" I asked, trying to cover up my mistake.
Scootalo facehooved, and sighed. "I asked you if you got into chorus."
"Oh! Yeah I got in! Cheerilee is sending me to the Advanced Chorus in Canterlot." I replied.
"Congratulations!" Midnight and Scootalo cheered for me. When they noticed that Apple Bloom wasn't cheering, but was instead glaring at me, they asked her what was wrong.
"What's wrong? What's wrong?!" Apple Bloom started angrily, "Sweetie Belle got inta chorus yesterday, then she came home, and heard me an' Rarity jokin' and freaked out! Then, ah have ta buck her door down jus' ta get it open! She then decides ta go off ta tha advanced chorus thing, and calls Cheerilee if she can transfer to tha Canterlot one."
Scootalo looked at both us and then sighed.
"I trusted that you guys wouldn't fight, but what do I come home to? Fighting! Seriously, I thought we were gonna have fun, but I guess I should forget that." Scootalo said, sadly. She then dashed off. Midnight looked at both of us, shook his head and sighed. Then he ran off to get Scootalo. That left me and Apple Bloom alone.
"Ah'm sorry that ya thought we weren't jokin'" Apple Bloom apologized. "Ah'm sorry fer everythin' ah've done to ya."
"I'm sorry for being the worst friend ever." I replied.
Then we both dashed off to get Scootalo. Our only thoughts were content on finding her, and making sure she was okay. Then I remembered a magic spell that Twilight had taught me, she said that I was going to be a very powerful unicorn, whether I wanted to use my magic or not. She taught me a trick on how to give ponies wings, and on my first try I had gotten it right! This kinda stuff would be useful if I ever decided to do tricks at a concert!
"Hey Apple Bloom." I said, slowing down.
"Yeah?" She asked stopping next to me.
"Ever wanted to fly?" I asked, a wide grin appearing on my face.
"Sure!" She replied.
I fired up my horn, and a few moments later, we both had temporary wings. Apple Bloom looked at me, her eyes wide. I was aware that because of the spell, I was an alicorn, temporary of course! We flew over to where we saw Scootalo. We were only halfway there when my wings started to give out. The spell was starting to wear off.
We landed on the ground, and ran another mile before we finally reached her.
"Scootalo?" I called out, worried.
"I-i'm here." She replied, up in a tree.
Midnight was by her side, giving her a hug, trying to calm her down.
"You two aren't going to fight again, are you?" She asked.
"'Course not! That would be silly!" Apple Bloom replied.
We all got together and had fun doing things all around the town. We were having the time of our lives, that is, until it came time to leave. Scootalo, Midnight, and I walked over to a ticket booth and bought a ticket for Canterlot. I would miss Apple Bloom, and everyone else, but there's no way I can back down now. I would miss everyone dearly. I boarded the train with Scootalo and Midnight, and we all sat together.
"Nervous?" Midnight asked. That was the first time that he had talked to me on the train.
"Kinda." I replied.
"You'll get a little homesick too, but then again, you'll also get over that." Scootalo said, joining our conversation.
"You guys getting a little hungry?" I asked, my stomach growling.
"Yeah." Scootalo laughed.
We all stood up and left for the food cart. When we sat down at a seat, we saw a filly and her dad. She looked pink, and she wore a little tiara. Smaller than Diamond Tiara's tiara, so it couldn't be her. Sure enough, it was her. She was wearing her 'eating tiara' as she calls it. I couldn't believe that she was coming on this train with us. Good thing she was going to another place, and not with us.
When we finished eating, we went back to the main cart, and sat down. I noticed a new feature on the train. There was a TV.
I grabbed the remote that was on our side of the cart, and starting flipping through some channels. News, news, news, ah, finally something. There was singing, there was all kinds of channels! We settled for some cartoons though, since we did grow up with them. Speaking of growing up, I've noticed that we've kinda been growing apart.
"So, when did you guys meet?" Midnight asked.
"Well, Sweetie Belle and I first met a long time ago." Scootalo began.
"We first met when we were both five. I was in the park playing on my scooter when I was about to fall off. I was lucky that Sweetie was a very knowledgeable pony with strong magic! She just barley saved me from crashing into a tree. We've been friends since then." Scootalo finished.
"So how about Apple Bloom?" He asked again.
"We met at Diamond Tiara's cutie ceañera." I answered.
After that, we grabbed our things and went to a cabin to sleep. I had trouble sleeping though, I would really miss everyone. Then my thoughts went to Midnight, and I slowly drifted to sleep.
When I awoke the next morning, the train was close to Canterlot, and I headed to the food cart where I saw Midnight and Scootalo sitting and eating.
"Morning." I greeted them.
"Morning." They replied.
After I ate, I refreshed, gathered my things, and I headed to the main cart. I was eager for the train to hurry and get to Canterlot so I could go into Advanced chorus. From what I heard, my teacher would be Mrs. Mary Lulamoon. She had a sister named Trixie, but I already know Trixie. Anyway, Mrs. Lulamoon is supposed to be really nice.
With little converse going on, I almost fell back to sleep. As soon as I was about to nod off, the train pulled to a stop. I got off the train, and said my goodbyes to Midnight and Scootalo. I headed off towards my building, where I was greeted by Mrs. Lulamoon. She looked like a combination of Trixie and Colgate.
"You must be Sweetie Belle!" Mary greeted me sweetly.
I nodded my head shyly. She lead me into the building, and up to my room. I was amazed. I got my own room! I knew that this was going to be the best choice that I'd ever made!
Ah was happy when me an' Sweetie Belle could make amends, but ah was still very sad when she left. Ah miss her an' Scootalo very much! I jus' hope that we can meet again some day. Ah also moved in to tha boutique today. Ah would miss mah family, but that don' mean that ah can't visit them when ah take mah days off. Speaking of days off, ah'm able ta pick mah days off! A'int that sound grand?
After Sweetie Belle, Scootalo, an' Midnight had left, ah packed up tha stuff that ah would need, and ah headed off to tha boutique. Ah ended up stayin' the night at Sweet Apple Acres though. Ah wouldn't be able ta take mah bed. Ah know it sounds silly, but ah really would miss it! Ah grew up in it!
Anyway, ah woke up this mornin', an' ah thought about goin' ta see mah friends, Scootalo an' Sweetie Belle, but then ah remembered that ah wouldn't see them very often anymore. Ah said goodbye ta Granny Smith an' Big Mac, then ah headed out into the fields ta say goodbye ta Applejack. As ah approached her, ah heard her cryin'. Ah hid behind ah nearby tree an' decided ta listen to her.
"Why Apple Bloom?!" Applejack cried. "Ah thought you were mah sister! Ah thought we was friends! Why did ya have to leave us? WHY?!" She started ta buck tha trees even harder. Ah felt sad. Ah guess ah had forgotten how it would affect the others around me. Ah then came up with a new decision.
Ah ran up ta Applejack an' gave her a big hug. It had surprised her. Ah then grabbed some wood, nails, a hammer, an' I headed into the middle, where Rarity's Boutique, an' the farm were divided. Ah started building a house, ah knew it would take a few days, but ah didn't care. Ah wasn't gonna make Applejack depressed like this. She was mah sister! Ah started working on tha house faster. I put everything ah would need in mah clubhouse, where ah would be stayin' until mah house was done.
I quickly wrote a letter ta Rarity, an then started on tha house again, eager ta get it done. Buildin' happened ta be another good task of mine. Ah was hopin' ta get a cutie mark in that, but ah failed. Ah turned ta fashion, an' it jus' so happened that ah was good at it!
Ah came back inside later, an had fallen asleep on the couch. Ah would start workin' early in tha morinin'. Ah jus' had ta get this done! It was either that, or make Applejack's feelings even worse!
A few days later, the house was done. It was painted, an everythin'! Ah quickly wrote a letter ta Rarity, and then ah ran over ta mah old house, an' ah frantically knocked on tha door. Applejack had opened up, sad.
"Apple Bloom?" She asked surprised.
"Come with me!" Ah called out. Ah ran as fast as mah legs could carry over to tha house that ah had built. Rarity was already waitin' there for us. When Applejack had seen tha house, she was surprised. Ah knew she would be happy. Ah jus' knew it! Applejack had stopped in front of the house, still speechless.
Ah had painted the house creamy yellow, with orange windows, an' a blonde yellow door. The door knob was red. Ah had also decorated the house with our cutie marks. The roof was purple, an' it had Rarity's cutie mark on it. Ah led 'em both inside the house, where they saw the beautiful lush carpet, an' the Orange curtains in the living room. Ah led Applejack ta one of the rooms. It was her color orange, with ah blonde colored carpet, an a beautiful stetson painted on the wall. It also had some brown curtains on it. Ah took Rarity to a room that was decorated like she would want it. Ah had put in three rooms, thinking Rarity an' Applejack could live with me. Ah wouldn't be hurt if they disagreed.
Applejack an' Rarity were still in tha rooms that ah had designed for them.
"Do ya like it?" Ah finally asked.
"Why of course ah do Apple Bloom!" Applejack said happily. Ah trotted over ta Rarity's room an' ah asked her the same question.
"Oh course darling! Too bad I can't stay in it." She said with a frown.
"Why not?" Ah asked. Surely, there must be a reason why.
"Because I've got a business to run!" Rarity said, as if ah'm ignorant.
"Rarity, haven't you noticed that you an' Pinkie are the only ones that live in your own store?" Ah challenged.
Rarity put some thought into her answer.
"I guess I do need a new home anyway. Opal needs a good field to rest in anyway." Rarity finally replied.
Tha rest of the day was spent moving things into tha new house. Big Mac an' Granny Smith were sad that both Applejack an' ah were movin' out, but still happy that were close by. Ah gave them both a big hug, an' then headed off towards mah new house. Ah was sure it would take a while before we actually got used to it.
The next day ah got up bright an' early, eager for mah first day at the Carousel Boutique. Ah had ta wait for Rarity ta get up, but while ah did, Applejack an' ah headed down ta the farm and ate breakfast. Afterwards, we bucked trees for awhile, before heading home for some lunch. Applejack, Rarity, an' ah had some apple pie.
Once finished, Rarity an' ah headed down to tha boutique, where we saw some ponies waiting in line.
"Oh don't worry dear, I've just put some ads up over town. It's sponsoring my new dresses!" Rarity said.
As we walked inside, ah noticed that the ponies had followed us. Rarity led em to one part of the store, so she could measure them. Ah stayed in another part so that ah could design a dress or suit for em. We had a lot of company. Ah knew that ah would be spending a lot of time with Rarity, but on the bright side, ah would be busy while Applejack was busy, so we saw each other at normal times.
At the end of the day, I saw Opal follow me into mah room. She curled up on mah bed and fell asleep. It was then that ah realized that ah shouldn't worry so much about anythin'. Everythin' was gonna be alright. Ah smiled, an' finally fell asleep.
Midnight and I had gotten closer since we had met, and we always hung out. Sometimes we'd get to hang out with Sweetie Belle, but other than that, we were busy. Midnight was like a best friend to me. He helped me discover feelings about people that I've never felt before. When I started dating my first pony, he looked kinda sad. I think it was just because he didn't have his own Special somepony. However, when we broke up, it was like he was happy .
When I got up today, I looked at my schedule. Today was our day off from training. I knew that Fire Glitz, Dashing Shimmy, and Midnight Tango, and I would get to hang out! I was so happy! But then I also remembered that Fire and Dashing may got out later. That would leave me and Midnight. Shining Shimmer and Sunset Breeze would be alone, but I hated them both, even if Shining did apologize to me. What she did was wrong.
I walked downstairs eager to get out of the building. I was greeted by the sight of Fire and Dashing leaving.
"Of course..." I thought to myself. I walked over to them.
"So, you guys are wanting to rain check again, huh?" I asked, putting on an angry expression to trick them. Their expressions instantly turned innocent
"Oh we were gonna hang out right? Sorry!" Dashing said. I changed my expression to let them know it was a trick. All three of us laughed. I knew the real reasons as to why they always left me and Midnight alone together. They wanted us to get together, but I don't see that happening at all! I mean, sure he's cute, but what could a guy like him see in a gal like me ? I'm practically unattractive!
I walked over and sat down on the steps. I wasn't really hungry so I didn't bother to get breakfast. Instead, I just sat and wait. I was wondering what Midnight and I would do today. I silently got up and walked over to some of the portraits that were hanging up. They were lovely. Apple Bloom would've loved them.
"Ahh!" Midnight screamed behind me. I jumped to what felt like, 10 feet in the air, my wings flared out.
"Whoa! What was that for?" I asked, laughing.
"Just cause." He replied simply, and flew up to me. "Get some clothes on, and follow me afterwards, I wanna take you somewhere."
I was a little taken aback by his words, since he never said anything like that to me. Not even when he planned where we would go. It would always be something like, 'Hey Scootalo, Wanna go to the movies?' Never, anything like that.
I nodded, and flew up to my room, and put on a short dress and jacket, and a scarf. It had been really cold down here in Canterlot lately. I flew back down the stairs, where I saw Midnight waiting for me. Once he saw me, he flared out his wings, and took off. I followed him, as he soared up high. I noticed that we were heading for the clouds, so I closed my eyes.
When I opened them, I noticed that we were above them. He landed soundlessly on a cloud and took a seat. I sat next to him, and admired Canterlot, which was below us. From what I've heard, this is one of the most romantic places that Pegasi take their special dates.
"Scootalo, there's something that I've been meaning to tell you..." He trailed off, blushing, as he took one of my hooves in his.
I stared into his eyes. I was also blushing by now.
"I was wondering if you'd be my, Special Somepony." He barely whispered.
I nodded, as he pulled me into a soft, yet fast kiss. I knew that he was my special somepony, because I was getting the same feeling that I had when I'd first met him. By now, I realized that the feeling was love. I had been in love with Midnight all along, but I didn't realize it. My heart never let me. I closed my eyes, a tear rolling down my cheek. Yes. This was true love, and I was sorry that I hadn't realized it until now.
We both opened our eyes, and he noticed my tears. He wiped them away, and asked me what was wrong.
"It's nothing." I replied sheepishly.
Well, now Fire and Dashing got what they wanted. We we're together. I was happy. I couldn't wait to tell Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom.
We flew back to the building afterwards, my tears, long gone. My hatred, long gone. There was something about Midnight that made me feel so alive, like I was dead without him. I was happy to be with him, and I guess you could say the same thing for him. However, when I told Sweetie Belle, she was furious.
"What?!" She screamed.
"I thought you'd be happy for me!" I said sadly. "I thought you'd be happy for me." I was now whispering.
"Well I'm obviously not! Break up with him!" She yelled at me greedily.
"No! You're my friend, and I thought you'd be happy! I finally found the one, and now you want to take him away from me!" I yelled at her.
She glared at me, and I looked at her, hurt covering my face. I flew out of the A.C Building, and back over to mine. I can't believe that Sweetie Belle would do this. I thought we were friends. I thought she'd be happy for me. I didn't think that she'd ever want me to break up with the person that I loved. I would have to tell Midnight. I was sad, and I felt like he was the only one that could cheer me up.
Once I had arrived, the first place I went was to Midnight's room. After about three knocks he finally opened. I saw a book on his bed, and guessed that he'd been sucked into the book.
"What's up Scoots?" He asked. After a few moments, he finally noticed my tears. His smile quickly turned into a frown.
"Scoots, what happened?" He asked.
"S-Sweetie Belle, i-is what h-happened. Sh-she wants me t-to break up with y-you." I struggled to say.
He pulled me into a hug, and reassured me. I knew that I would have to get over this, but Sweetie Belle was one of my best friends. The thought of what had happened had really torn me apart. Feeling reassured, I walked back to my room, where I went over to my bed. After a few moments, I'd remembered that I left my jacket in Midnight's room. I walked over to it, and opened the door, where I found him and Sweetie Belle cuddling. I broke down in tears, and locked the door to my room. Fire and Dashing had a key, so they could get in.
For the rest of the day, I stayed curled up in the dark. I thought that Midnight had loved me. I didn't think that he'd cheat on me. I was so naive. I felt like my world had turned upside down, and I didn't want to talk to anyone. My world was over.
Oh no, what have I done? I can't believe that I did that. I hate what jealousy does to a pony. We went from best friends forever, to best friends for never. Let me explain.....
Scootalo came over and told me about how she was dating Midnight, and jealousy got the best of me. I yelled at her. I guess I'm only jealous because I also like Midnight. I deliberately payed a 'visit' to Midnight. I told him how Scootalo would appreciate it if he went to the store and got her a few things. Once he was gone, I conjured up a spell that made a clone of him. Once phase one of my operation was complete, I hid using an invisibility spell. After I accessed the spell, I heard a knock on the door. I opened up a book, and laid it on his bed, so it would look like he was reading.
The clone opened up the door, and I saw Scootalo was there. She complained about me, but then again, who wouldn't? I friggin yelled at her! Anyway, once she was gone, I took off the spell, (I didn't think she would come back), and started making out with the clone. I guess you could say it was cool until she showed up again. It was only then that I'd realized what I'd done. I got rid of the clone and teleported back to my building. She won't leave her room, or talk to Midnight. This is all my fault....
A knock at the door had suddenly taken me from my thoughts. I got up and answered it. I should've known. Before me stood Fire Glitz, Dashing Shimmy, and Shining Shimmer. I remember when Scootalo had introduced us.
"What did you do to Scootalo?" Dashing yelled. I simply rolled my eyes.
"Do you not see my horn?" I asked as if they were stupid.
"I ASKED WHAT YOU DID!!" Dashing yelled, making an attempt to knock me over. Luckily, Fire had caught her tail in her mouth.
I was then picked up in a magic grasp. Fire and Dashing were both pegasi, while Shining had looked like an earth pony. I was wrong. Her horn was hidden underneath her long mane. I saw just the tip of it sticking out, and an orange aura covering it.
I rolled my eyes. Did they honestly expect me to be intimidated?
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Dashing screamed louder, managing to get out of her tail hold. Shining still held me simply, and let Dashing take some shots at me.
"Oh Puh-lease, do you honestly expect me to tell you ? You'd have better luck trying to get answers from The Great and Powerful Trixie." I chided.
"Oh for Celestia's sake, bucking answer her!" Fire yelled. I felt Shining inch me closer and closer towards the mirror. Suddenly the window opened and I was being levitated out of it.
"Fine!" I screeched, scared that Shining was going to drop me. She slowly pulled me in.
"I made a clone, and she walked in on me making out with it!" I admitted, my cheeks burning.
"A clone of who?" Shining asked, eyebrows raised.
"Midnight." I barely whispered, my head drooping.
All three of them laughed, but then finally left. They scurried back to their building, as they were almost late for dinner. When someone was late for dinner, they got in A LOT of trouble. I felt really guilty for what I had done...
Ah'm exhausted. Ah decided to work on tha farm on mah days off, so ah could also get some bits ta buy some food and other things for mah new house, but ah thought it would be easy! Makes me wonder how Applejack an' Rarity can do their jobs so easily! Anyway, ah wonder how Scoots an' Sweetie are doin'? Ah got a letter tha other day, but it was jus' about Scootalo's upcoming Dance Recital. Which reminds me, ah've gotta em' their outfits for when they both preform!
Somepony knocked on tha door, taking me from mah thoughts. Ah slowly got up, an' walked over to it. As ah opened it up, ah saw Scootalo in tears.
"Scootalo?" Ah asked surprised. She stumbled in, an' took a seat on mah bed. "What's tha matter?" I asked, utterly confused.
She took a few moments before finally responding.
"M-me and M-Midnight got t-together, and th-then he went a-and ch-cheated on m-me with her!" She finally said.
Ah gasped. Ah never thought that Sweetie Belle would do that! Ah also never thought that a thing like this would ever put Scootalo in a funk! She always acted like she was stone hearted!
"What happened?" Ah pryed. Ah know it a'int right ta get in somepony else's business, but ah just really wanted ta help.
Scootalo dried her tears, and calmed herself down that way she wouldn't stutter.
"Well, Midnight and I had gone on a date, and then I went over to Sweetie Belle's to tell her the good news." Scootalo stopped.
"And?" Ah asked.
"And then she yelled at me for going out with him! He made me feel so alive!" Scootalo said, crying again. Ah calmed her down so she could finished up tha story.
"Then I went back to my building. I went to Midnight's room to tell him what had happened, and he took a few minutes before opening the door. When he had opened it, I saw a book on his bed and I figured that he was just reading a book, and it took him a few minutes just to realize that I was knocking. Once I told him, I walked back to my room." Scootalo stopped again.
"Do ya want me ta go an' get ya some water?" Ah asked. Ah was done trying to get information, but tha fact that she'd confided in me, made me kinda happy ta hear her story. Ah a'int happy about what happened. She was mah friend, and what made her sad, made me sad.
"Sure." Scootalo replied. As ah walked outta tha room, I heard her breathing in and out, trying to get a hold of herself. When ah walked to tha kitchen, ah heard some glass break. Ah ran ta mah room ta find Scootalo hiding under mah bed, and a brick on the floor, glass form mah window surrounding it. Upon closer inspection, ah noticed that it had a note on it.
Scootalo.
Why would someone right on-
Ah was knocked from my thoughts as Scootalo jumped up an' pushed me outta the way. A single brick landed where I used to be standing. Ah was dazed as ah realized what had jus' happened. Scootalo had saved me from a brick that would've smashed mah skull.
Ah stood up, an' picked up the other brick. Ah also stood outta that way.
I'm sorry.
Ah handed both bricks ta Scootalo and looked outside the window, ta see a white blur disappear.
"Sweetie Belle." Ah thought.
Scootalo threw tha bricks back outside tha window and helped me fix it. Ah could tell that Scootalo wasn't gonna forgive Sweetie Belle anytime soon.
As Scootalo took off, ah gave her another goodbye hug. As ah looked around, ah noticed Sweetie Belle also nearby. Ah rolled mah eyes, and took off towards home again. Ah would have ta tell Applejack, Rarity, an' Rainbow Dash. Tellin' tha adults was tha right things ta do. Rainbow Dash also had ta know because well, she's Rainbow Dash. She was gonna found out one way, or another.
Once ah got home, ah saw Sweetie Belle yet AGAIN!
"Hey Apple Bloom. I guess you know what happened." She said nervously.
"Of course ah know you dim wit! And honestly, throwin' bricks through mah windows? What year is it? 1770?" Ah asked.
"I'm sorry." Sweetie Belle said.
"You'd better be! Especially fer what ya did ta Scootalo! That wasn't right, and you an' both know it!" Ah growled.
"I said I was sorry!" Sweetie Belle replied angrily.
"Yeah? Tell that ta Scootalo face ta face. Honestly, ah don't think she's gonna forgive ya anytime soon!" Ah said.
Sweetie Belle still looked angry, but she trotted off, and stood in the street. As a truck came by, she teleported. Back home, ah assume.
When Rainbow Dash had finally arrived, ah got Rarity and Applejack out of their rooms. Ah was gonna tell them.
"So what did you call me here for?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Well, it has ta do with what Sweetie Belle did ta Scootalo, and tha fact that Scootalo came ta me." Ah replied.
"What did Sweetie Belle do?" Rarity asked curiously.
"An why do ya need me here for?" Applejack asked.
"OK. Scootalo came ta me today, and said that her new stallionfriend cheated on her with Sweetie Belle." Ah said.
"She proceeded ta tell me that not only did Sweetie know, but that she also yelled at her for dating him." Ah finished.
"Rarity? May I have permission to beat the living day outta Sweetie Belle?" Rainbow Dash asked angrily.
"Oh heavens no!" Rarity replied.
"Why not? NOBODY! AND I MEAN NOBODY TREATS SCOOTALO THAT WAY!" Rainbow said defensive.
"Well, ah reckon that there a'int anything we can do." Applejack replied.
"A'INT ANYTHING WE CAN DO?!" Rainbow screamed. She then flew out of the house, racing off somewhere.
"Well, ah guess we handled that well ." Ah replied sarcastically.
Applejack an' Rarity went to their rooms leaving me all alone. Ah then heard a knock on the door. When ah opened it up and saw Sweetie Belle again.
"What do ya want? Fer Celestia's sake, jus' tell me, an' stop followin' me all over town!" Ah said.
Sweetie Belle told me her side of tha story, an' ah was so angry at her, it took all of mah might not ta' smack her upside tha head. Ah told her that she should jus' go an' apologize ta Scootalo, an' she said that Scootalo wouldn't listen to her.
Ah told Sweetie Belle that she'd better leave now.
"Why?" Sweetie Belle asked confused.
"Ah told Rainbow Dash, an' now she's huntin' you down." Ah replied.
Sweetie Belle looked into mah eyes ta see if ah was tellin' tha truth, an' sure enough ah was!
Once Sweetie Belle had gone ah went ta bed. Ah had a long day of work tomorrow.
Tha next day, ah headed over ta Carousel Boutique. Ah noticed a bunch of ponies waiting outside, an' right then ah knew that today would be very busy. We would have ta work fast if we wanted ta satisfy these ponies!
After work, ah headed down ta Sweet Apple Acres where ah would be working part time. After that, ah headed to tha store an' got some food, an' then ah settled down, for a nice daytime nap.
Dangerous Dancing (INCOMPLETE!!)
I woke up this morning to some knocking at the door. I sighed, stretched, and finally got out of bed. I walked over to the door, and was about to answer it, when reality struck, and then I knew perfectly well that Midnight Tango would be standing there, waiting for me to open the door. I was still angry with him. Why would anypony even do that? I thought that he was the one pony that had actually loved me. I told him secrets. I quickly shook my head. Thinking about us was just going to hurt me even more.
I opened the door anyway, to see that instead of Midnight, was in fact, Sweetie Belle. "Oh Scootalo!" She cried out. She was about to walk right in, but I quickly kicked it with my leg, only for it to stop a few mere inches from the frame. Sweetie Belle opened the door, and walked right in.
"Scoots, we need to talk." Sweetie Belle said seriously.
"What about?" I was really sad at this point, memories washing over me, like the sea washes over the sand.
"Scootalo, that wasn't really Midnight." Sweetie Belle said, almost sheepishly.
"How can it not be? There isn't anyway that...." But then I stopped myself, instantly remembering that Sweetie Belle has a horn, and can practically conjure up anything.
"Can you forgive me?" Sweetie asked.
"NO!" I screamed, before I could stop myself. I instantly regretted that, because in only a second, Sweetie's eyes were filled with tears.
"I-It's okay. I understand." She replied. She was about to open the door back up and leave, before I stopped her.
"It'll take some time." I replied.
She turned back around, and gave a little smile. Then she left.
After that, I ran over to Midnight Tango's room. He opened the door, and nearly gasped, when he saw me standing there. I walked inside his room and gave him a little hug.
"It's OK." I murmured. "I know what happened."
The next thing I knew, he had enveloped me into a big hug. I was glad that we could finally be together again.
I walked back to my room, and got ready. Tonight was my dance recital, and I was going to dance like I had never danced before! OK, so maybe that line was a little cheesy?

After I had gotten ready, I flew with Midnight down to the studio, and started practicing. I was going to make the most out of tonight! After all, this was the biggest mile stone in the Dalt history! (By the way, what does Dalt mean anyway? I can understand the Wonder Bolts, but Wonder Dalts? Who the hell came up with that?!)
I was in the middle of a twirl, when I was greeted by some middle aged pony.
"Hello there! You must be one of the performers tonight?" He asked.
"Um yes?" I replied nervously. Would this be one of judges tonight?!
"Splendid! I can't wait to see you, uh, preform tonight!" He said. He added something else, but I couldn't hear.
"I'm Triank CD." He said. Obviously, I could tell that it wasn't his real name. He must've come up with it last minute or something.
"Uh, Hi Triank, I'm Scootalo." I replied. He nodded, and then headed for a seat, and sat down, and started watching me. Intently.....
I ignored him, and got back to practicing. I guess that was already two mistakes of the day that I'd just made.....

Later that night, as I was putting on my uniform backstage, I head someone enter. I was a little freaked out, because I was the only one who hadn't got the uniform on yet. Everyone else was on stage getting ready. I looked around, and saw no one. I shrugged it off, and thought that it was just my imagination.
As I had finally gotten my hoof through, I heard some pony whispering. I looked around again, and shrugged it off. Instead of using my wings like any other logical pegasus would do, I walked over to the door, and then, the world around me had gone black.
When I could finally open my eyes, I noticed "Triank" staring at me. He was running a hoof through my mane. He still couldn't tell that I had stirred. I looked down, and noticed that I was chained to a wall. My wings held down, my forelegs, and back legs, connected to the chain. When I looked up, our eyes met for a moment, before I quickly looked away.
"Good. You're awake." He said. "My name is Butter Tail, but I don't usually tell anyone at first, because they make fun of me. Now, listen closely."
I looked at him, and then I nodded.
"You're my new slave. You can do what I say, or I can hurt you. You don't want me to hurt you now do you, honey ?" He asked, putting a LOT of emphasis on the H.
I remember fainting. But I don't really remember why. When I had awaken, he was staring at me. He looked really angry.
"I'm sorry I had to do that, but I did say that I would hurt you." He said.
I looked down, and saw a blood red hoof mark on my thigh. I moved a hoof to rub it, but he stopped me.
"No." Was all he said. Now I was angry. No old hag that smelled like mildew was holding me captive, and getting away with it. I would make him regret this.
I looked up at him. I must've scared him a little, but I didn't care.
"Now you listen, and you listen good." I started, my voice as hard as nails.
"You're going to unchain me, and you'll do it now. Or else." I said.
Now, it was his turn to harden, and laugh.
"Or else what?" He asked, grinning. "Honey, I can whatever I want to." That being said, he started to reach a hoof down to my flank, before I raised my hind leg, and kicked him.
"LET ME GO NOW!!" I screamed. He just looked down at me and laughed. I don't know what I did to deserve this. All I did today was start practicing. I guess this is what I deserve. I might as well have Butter start stabbing me. It looked like I was getting no where.
"Well, I might. If, you can pleasure me." He replied. I was suddenly disgusted. Once he saw my face, he looked disgusted too.
"OH BLOODY HELL, NOT LIKE THAT? DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT I'M SOME PERVERT?!" He yelled.
"Well, I wasn't going to say anything but....." We both started laughing, which was odd, because this was the guy who had just taken me.
"I was going to ask you to make me an awesome sandwich." He said.
I just looked at him, dumbstruck. If he wanted me to make him a sandwich, why didn't he just ask?
He unchained me, and led me towards the kitchen.
