When he was born a falling star landed near his house and burned it down. He was the only pony to survive. Princess Luna saw the falling star and flew as fast as she could to the impact site. When she got there only one pony was not charred. It was a dark blue filly with a black and maroon main and tail. Princess Luna was not too worried about details at the time, the only thing she was worried about was saving the filly and ant others that were alive. The dark blue filly was somehow the only survivor. She took carful hold of the filly. Once she was holding it she realized that it was a boy. She felt bad for him, having lost his mother, father, and only sibling at such a young age. She flew back to canterlot as fast as she could. Once she got there Luna went to the royal guard and sent the fastest pegasus that there was at the time with water to put out the fire and try to find anything that could be used to identify who the ponies at the house were and who the little filly that survived was. When Luna was on her way to wake her room to try and put together everything that had happened she realized that the filly was an alicorn. When she realized this she rushed to her sister’s room as quickly as she could to tell her that she had found a male alicorn that was nearly killed. *Knock, Knock, Knock!* “Sister I know that you are sleeping but this is drastically important!” Luna Said at the door to her sisters room. The door then slowly opened to reveal a solid white pony with a purple, green, and yellow main and tail that were ruffled up. *Sigh* “What?” Princess Celestia asked her sister still half asleep. “Sister I saved an alicorn!” Luna said with a sense of excitement. Princess Celestia still a bit asleep bit a bit more awake now. “That is highly unlikely sister.” She told Luna. “Alicorns are rarely born and when they are born they are hardly ever near each other. There is already 2 alicorns in equestria so I doubt that you found a 3rd.” “But I did!” Luna told her sister a bit annoyed. “A falling star landed near his house and his family was killed. He wa…” “Wait, wait, wait.” Celestia interrupted. “You mean to tell me that not only did you find an alicorn but it is male?” “Yes.” Luna said. “Where is this male alicorn of yours Luna?” Celestia asked with sarcasm. “Right here.” Luna held the blue filly up who had somehow fallen asleep. Celestia just stood there dumb struck. She had not expected her sister to be right about something like this. She just thought that Luna saved a unicorn and some of its fur got ruffled and she assumed it was an alicorn. “Well.” Celestia began. “I did not expect you to be right but since you are and you found him he is your own unless a family member claims him.” “Don’t worry sister.” Luna said calmly. “I will raise him as if he were my own flesh and blood.” After a week and no pony claimed him Luna named him Fallen Star due to how she found him. With Luna as his teacher/mother he became a strong and gentle pony. As the years passed he became stronger. He did not get his cutie mark until he was 13. It was a yellow and white 8 point star, with a purple and blue cloud/fog behind the star in a swirl pattern. He got it while doing a spell Luna was teaching him. The spell was creating a star. He did it flawlessly. After a little research he found out that he controlled the stars. He also found out that each star was some pony’s destiny and life. He told Luna and Celestia when he found out. They both figured it was time to tell him while there still was a cousin of his happiness. They told him about how his only family was killed in a falling star and how Luna was not his real mother. And how they did not want to tell him until he was ready but needed to tell him now that he knew what his talent was. When they were done explaining how they found him he went to his room and locked the door. He stayed in there for 2 days in a depression. On the 2nd day Luna was able to convince him that what happened has happened and that he could not change it just live with it. He was able to deal with it despite only being 13. He was a lot more mature than most 13 year old pony’s. When he was 15 a lot of bad things started to happen in equestria. Discord had broken out of his stone prison, King Sombra’s madness was getting out of hand, the changelings had started to invade equestria, and Luna and Celestia had started to argue a lot. Both sisters were dealing with the problems one by one. But there arguing only continued. Once all of the big problems were dealt with something happened to Luna. Her fur turned black. Her main and tail looked like the night sky and she called herself Nightmare Moon. Fallen Star watched as Celestia and Luna/Nightmare Moon were fighting and it ended with Celestia sending Luna to the moon for 1000 years. Star was terrified that Celestia was going to banish him somewhere for 1000 years so he ran. He ran as fast as he could away from canterlot. Eventually he got lost in everfree forest. He found some old ruins that he had never seen or heard of before. On the walls inside the ruin was some kind of text that he could not read. All that he could make out was that it was some kind of machine that was run on magic and a sacrifice of some sort. He went deeper into the ruin to find the machine. It had a tube with a door on it big enough to hold a full grown stallion. It was connected to the wall and on the wall was a hole. Too small for a pony and too big for a horn. But a front leg could fit in just right. He found a journal with legible righting in it. It said that a leg hast to be given to activate the machine, and that the machine would freeze a pony for 1001 years. He thought about for a little while. Frozen for a 1001 years and get to see Luna again at the cost of one leg or try to survive in everfree forest for 1000 years. He chose being frozen. He put a spell on the ruin so that only he could see them. He then made the sacrifice and put his arm into the machine. It made a buzzing sound then made one quick clean cut and his arm was gone. He used what little he had to rap around his shoulder to stop him from bleeding out and used his wings to get into the  tube the door closed behind him and then it was really cold then everything went black.
