//-------------------------------------------------------// Alls good in death -by Crystal wave- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// After #1 death //-------------------------------------------------------// After #1 death END FLASHBACK* Alicorn twilight sparkle magically closed the heavy wooden doors to the library in her chambers, plunging the room into darkness as the large windows in her chambers had been covered by curtains and remained like that for months now. Twilight illuminated her horn, causing pulses of magenta light to wash against the smooth plastered walls. Making her way to a 'study corner' on the far side of the large room she began to feel a change, like cogs turning slowly and jerkily in her mind. Twi stretched her wings before sitting down on her rump, on a cushion. Her magic levitated a blank scroll to her desk, along with a sharp new quill and without paying any attention to the page, sent the quill dancing across the page. Drip, scratch, scratch, drip, scratch, scratch. The sounds of art filled the eerily quiet room, bouncing off the ceiling and walls, amplifying it tenfold. Twilight shrunk down, the sudden noises unnerving her, warming her paranoia. Suddenly the scratching died down, the echoes got quieter and once again, the room was silent. She sat up slowly and glanced over to where she had dropped her quill. The drawing on the scroll was not what she expected. There, belly up, slashes in her stomach outlining a smily face was princess celestia. Levitating four thumbtacks into the air plus her scroll she pinned the gruesome picture to the wall, aside many other horrible pictures, the actions depicted on them only undermined by the stunning beauty that they held, applied by the artist. Once the deed was done, twilight chose a book at random and opened it up, trying to lose herself before the second stage of her paranoia appeared.(the first stage was the drawing) The book was titled "great creatures and biodiversity in the gallop-agos islands" twi hadn't even reached the end of the first page when the monsters appeared. //-------------------------------------------------------// Knives and dragons. //-------------------------------------------------------// Knives and dragons. A purple alicorn, known as twilight sparkle, smiled to herself while she was perched upon her throne to the left of princess celestia's throne. She was remembering all the good times she had with her friends back in ponyville but something had changed inside her head, turning her sour, turning her killer. She dismissed herself and made her way up to her chambers, climbing the stairs at a faster pace than usual. Once the alicorn reached her door, a magenta aura of magic opening it for her. Out of habit she screamed out ''SPIKE!'' But the baby dragon would never answer her calls again. Flashback Twilight sparkle slinks into the library, calling for spike in dulcet tones. ''Spiiiike, spiiike, come here I have a surprise for yooooou!'' The dragon runs down the staircase leading to the princess's bedroom on short chubby legs, hoping it was a gemstone or a sapphire cupcake like he got back in ponyville. His mouth watered just at the thought of the pastry. Spike stood at attention before twilight sparkle but did notice something amiss untill bolts of magic locked the door's, closed all the curtains and suspended him in the air by his hind leg. Illuminated by the only light in the room, the light that her magic gave off, she felt under her wide wings for the carefully carved dagger that she had stored there just a few hours earlier. ''So, spike, how do you like you'r surprise?'' Twilight asked slowly and deliberately, as if she was reading something out loud for the first time. ''Uhhhh, good, I suppose'' He replied truthfully. I see. We shall soon change that. She said with a menacing smile. Her crazed face was the last thing he saw as his world exploded into black. Twilight stood back and admired her hoofwork. The dagger, plunged hilt deep into his chest had finished off her masterpiece.
