This is who I am

Running, that seemed to be the only thing I could ever do, I ran away from that drunk bastard I use to call dad. He's never been the same since mom's death I mean who wouldn't? At least the death was instantly. She was 20 minutes away from my house it was just gut wrenching knowing she was blocks away from home, when she was T-boned by a drunk driver I was 10 and from that day on for 4 years I had to work multiple jobs at multiple times to bail my dad out of prison, pay for his drinking, at some times it was so worst I had to beg for cash on street.
One time he had his license taken away for a month during that time he made me drive his truck to the local bar and whenever we got pulled over by the cops he some how talked his way out of a fine and got me arrested! I don't know how! Any way he would beat me for the stupidest things like not posting bail quick enough (how am I suppose to waltz right in there when I don't have a license?!?! Not getting enough money to get him drunk (apparently he has been going to the same bar and knows how many drinks he needs to get drunk), Getting myself arrested (when it was his I idea to let me drive)! If I raised my hands to defend myself he would beat me harder and longer he wold beat me when he got drunk, when he was sober, if it was the anniversary of their marriage, my birth date, or the anniversary of her death. You could always tell when a child custody was coming up because the days before he wouldn't touch his flask or a beer in fact he wouldn't touch any alcoholic beverage's, yet despite that somehow he always won the cases over my cousins who couldn't be any nicer and after the cases when we got home he would beat me, hard. So after 4 long years of this abuse I, Alan Force called the cops showed them the scars went to the bank scraped all the money I had left and headed for my cousins, the only problem was it was in Clarksville, North Carolina and I lived in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Well I thought to myself I got a long way to go
Well fell free to poke holes in my plans. My original plan was to walk across the whole Fucking country! Then I wised up and decided in Chicago to stay in Chicago and save up money to buy a train ticket to Clarksville N.C not the last train to there preferably. To get where I wanted I got a minium wage job at the checkout for a grocery store that was held up every other week. One night i was walking home (when I mean home I meant abandoned warehouse by the docks) I saw this beautiful girl who was slightly glowing wink at me and run down an alley.
"Hey! Wait up!" I yelled and gave chase as I turned the corner a bright light assaulted my face and that's the last thing I saw.
