Fallout Equestria: Beyond Hope
Introduction
Load Full StoryNext ChapterWar . . . war never changes. It was the inevitable result of the path Equestria had chosen. Everybody who entered the conflict was optimistic about the outcome, believing wholeheartedly that their side would be the one to triumph and emerge atop.
But as the war progressed and the true outcome presented itself, society began to collapse. The apocalypse had befallen the world, and in a manner so sudden it forced the mightiest of armies to their knees.
Equestria's future was looking bleak, until the apocalypse discovered something it had not anticipated, a beacon of hope in the now ruined world:
Stables, great structures built to not only withstand the apocalypse, but to destroy it. The stables that survived the apocalypse sent forth ponies to repopulate and rebuild Equestria, in a vein attempt to restore harmony to the now ruined land. For the first time in ages, peace seemed possible.
But the apocalypse would not be so easily defeated. In an attempt to regain control the apocalypse began corrupting the once pure ponies into raiders, savage groups of crazed ponies that were fixated on destroying any form of life they could find.
From the warring clans arose factions, each believing that they were in the right. Each optimistic about the outcome, believing wholeheartedly that their side would be the one to triumph and emerge atop.
Because war . . . war never changes.
